oooh i didn't know about that snapping the sample to the grid on the track src page, that's super useful! agree it would be nice to be able to trim it the same way, but this is good enough. can resample again and get rid of the larger file i suppose too
Any idea why my Syntakt is out of sync with my Digitakt? Digitakt sending midi & transport clock, Syntakt receiving. Both set to correct steps/bars. When I put snare trigs on 5 & 13, they are triggering early
Thank you for this awesome rumble tutorial. It works really well except for one thing. After I resample the rumble and place it in a track, I keep getting a clicking sound when the sample loops. I've tried most everything I can think of... any idea on how to avoid this clicking sound?
It be nice if you was to bring the rtym into your setup as your tutorials have the same items in everyone when you have more Elektron gear or is the rtym of no use there’s hardly any Rytm tutorials especially with the new 1.7 upgrade so please if you might swap the syntakt with the rtym
Gave this technique a shot tonight. Made a bunch of diff rumbles with various kicks (mostly factory). They sound great until I sample and start playing them back, then I get a nasty click. Tried playing around with the AMP settings but can't seem to isolate it. Went back and followed your steps as figured i'd just maybe done something silly, but even using the same settings as you and a similar sounding kick i'm still getting this damn click. Not sure where it's coming from :D (Edit - noticed you also have it when you play back your sample here, it clicks at the end. But you managed to smooth it out really nicely. Guess it's just a case of fine tuning the start/end pos and AMP settings. You made it look so easy, lol.)
@@tvlkn9130 the problem is that its stereo, I dont get a click most times I do it. Try adjust your trig length to exactly the steps it plays back for and get rid of the release envelope
@@EZBOT_ Ah, switching to ADSR mode def helped. Trig length set to 15 and click is gone. It'll do for now :D. You're a star, thanks for taking the time to respond, really appreciate it.
❤ We swapped the kick later in the video cause it was too EDM imo. I don’t agree with the hats or tempo, 144 is plenty fast and we had a bunch of hat variations. Thank you for watching and commenting!

Try adding some attack and gently moving the start position of the sample.
@@EZBOT_ Yeah, I already tried those. At this point, I'm going to change the kick sample and start over, see if that helps.
@@Knob2Loop DT2 needs zero crossing detection especially since it's stereo now
@@EZBOT_ Interestingly, I think the click is actually coming from the end of sample, not from the start... weird!

your kick is too edm-y, your hats have too long release, and the tempo could be faster IMO.
