Oh wow, great show Mia! Really took me back! I heard them live so many times. My Dad made the music videos for Rainfall and Burnin' Up back in the 90s.
In 1982 I was 20 years old. I loved New Wave and A Flock of Seagulls were one of my favorites. Many of the bands performed live at the times in the New York clubs, U2, Modern English and we saw many of them up close. Now I do not remember seeing A Flock of Seagulls at the clubs. They may have performed at one of the many NYC clubs but I do not recall. What I do remember is their songs playing in the clubs. At EPCOT some of my memories came back to me. Long bangs on my right side covering my eye. Pink hair streaks etc. it was fun! We have all tamed down a little since then. They were good times. I am sure your dad has said that many times. In the 90’s I do not remember the band songs at all. Those 2 songs I have never heard before. It was a different and very busy time for me back in the 90’s until now. I am glad to relive my youth a little through the music by A Flock Of Seagulls and other bands. Thanks to Disney I get to do that.
@@ACinderellaWish That sounds like some wonderful memories for sure! That is awesome that hearing it again brought you back, it really is great that Disney has the music with the festivals! I was born in 1983 and my parents were big into music and concerts (U2 being their all-time favorite) so I grew up around some good music :) They have both passed now so hearing all the old songs brings back great memories for me too!
Sorry to hear your parents have passed away mine too. The good news is we will all be reunited one day.
U2 played at The Ritz at the time the popular songs were Boys don’t cry from the first album. They were ready to release their second album October. In those days they were not popular. I heard of them from my friend John who had heard them play. We all went to the Ritz and the band played right in from of us on stage if I wanted to I could touch them that’s how close they were.
The second time I saw them was in New Jersey at the Meadowlands a much bigger place ( huge).
My cousin got tickets from Geraldo Rivera ( she was one of the producers of the show) we were close but I could not touch them if I wanted too 😂.
@@ACinderellaWish Sorry for you loss too. My parents went to see U2 every time they toured, but wow, seeing them early on up close like that sounds amazing! I finally saw them in 2009 (from very high up lol) and it was awesome! Cool your cousin worked for the Geraldo show, I used to watch that ;)

Iy was a fun night of New Wave music. The only original member is the lead singer and song writer Mike Score, but I thought everything sounded great!
We enjoyed the concert Mia. As before we slightly predate them, however we recognized several of the songs such as "I ran!" Nice light show too! Thanks for bringing us along.
Yeah back in the 80’s it was a fun time with the New Wave bands. It was certainly different. I took Ricky with me and he loved it he was dancing.

Yes it’s nice to live near because it is very convenient. We are glad we did not miss out on these concerts.
One day if you and your family decide to move here I think you will like it. The only thing I do not like about living here is critters mainly snakes and alligators, mosquitos, humidity and some storms. But the rest is 👍🏼👍🏼.

The original band was way better when Frank, Paul and Ali were part of it.
Yes true and I wish it was like back in the day, but you can’t forget that those days are over and this is what we got. Those were the days of New Wave and it’s nice to hear at least one member bring the band back.
