And Disturbed has brought it back into today. Now look, it's being covered by youths today that might continue to carry it forward to their adulthood and so on . . . That's much more meaningful than if someone didn't realize the song's original origin. There are countless legendary songs covered throughout history - and that's almost always a good thing, as long as it's not being used in a negative way.
His information is for those who may be unaware of the fact that Disturbed's rendition is also a cover and that Simon and Garfunkel deserve credit for the song they gave us. I agree that Disturbed's cover brought new life to the song, having said that, there is nothing wrong with the original. Both versions have their place.

And the comment was based on the title not the credits. The title is misleading... And some folks do not watch the credits. However I will thank you for pointing out that that is there.

Amazing baffling these are only a few words I know I can describe the powerful statements that disturbs music makes they can move a nation they can do literally anything just drop a new album and they will create a movement. I know I need a lot of periods in there but who gives a damn.

As much as i like Disturbed i cant stand when the credit for this song goes to them. I see it all the time! Including on the title of this video! Its always portrayed as if they wrote this song. They did not. They covered it. It was originally written and recorded by Simon and Garfunkle and people need to stop saying its Disturbeds song. Smh

It says right at the beginning of the video who this song is originally from. Title says Disturbed because there is a huge difference in style between the original version and Disturbed’s version.

But the title is a deception and becouse there are so many things like this, there are so many kids of this new generation that really do think it is Disturbeds song. peter jensen its called reverb. Completely different than autotune. Theres hundreds of vocal effects out there that do things other than autotune.
Autotune is used for pitch correction and usually is never noticed (unless you’re T-Pain who makes it sound like he’s a talkbox.)
