I picked up an GMK 87 for $34 back in Dec from Ali, same screen at the 81. These are fantastic boards for the price. Built the 87 for one of my sons and he has been using it ever since. I remind him we have a Q1 Pro, Jris75 and GMMK Pro with flex kit not being used but he really likes the sound of the 87. Love the Morandi, one of my favorites! Great to see all the new videos Lewis, I always enjoy your content!

@@ZXEEXZ1 I don’t as that was a few months ago. What I do is search for it and look at it the go back and do super deals over and over until I get a cheap one.
I've been impressed with all of these boards! I have at least 5 GMK variants and, aside from being ridiculously inexpensive, they have all been very nice! Honestly, I use them as the flagship example of "I can build you an inexpensive keyboard that sounds this good...". Anything under 40 bucks that can deliver this much is a budget king.
Man, I only got into the whole "keeb" scene maybe a year or so ago, and things have changed so quickly! The quality of the budget boards, and the price of them, has changed so much. It's actually great for folks like me, since I'm poor, and when I first started looking at mechanical boards, most of the "budget" options were $80+, with some random brands in the $25-$50 range, but with very few features. There weren't any with screens, or knobs, at at that time, not for under $50 at least, and now, there are several to choose from. I might even get something to upgrade from my ultra budget prebuilt (it's at least moddable, hot swap, etc) because now there are just several options that won't set me back too much. I can get everything I need for like $50-$70, which before, just the bare-bones kits were going to cost you at least $80, so once you added in switches and keycaps, you were well over that $100 mark...whereas now, that can all be done for a lot less. I love it!

Aula F87 Pro gasket is super worth too. I just bought the side printed version with black transparent case & Leobog Space Gold Linear switch just in Rm 185 from taobao. About < $40.

If you're taking it wireless, assuming turning off the rgb & led, should i concern for the battery?
The gmk67 is so easy to recommend to my beginner friends because of its stock performance and price. The only downside i can see is the connection reliability of the 2.4ghz mode, my friends say it occasionally has hiccups. Im also not sure how good the battery is.
NGL I recently just made my first custom keyboard with the GMK 67 and I don't regret it cuz I would take a knob over a screen.

Bought my first ever kit with the non-S one and I made a clacky build since I'm a clacky guy. Specs are:
KTT Darlings (Spring swapped to progressive springs)
KTT Kang White for spacebar
Aifei Dreamland keycaps (ABS | Cherry Profile)
Since it's a clacky build, ofc it's foamless

can the gmk81 support screw in stabilizers?
How do you think about the budget stabilizer, or the rating of stabilizer nowaday ?
I tried Durock stabilizer v2. It's crazy! But after few time I take of my keycap, switch then It's starting ticky. And I tried balance the wire but it took too much time -_-.
i use durocks too! try out using both holee and plumber's mod for the stabs, should fix it

I dunno, I honestly think I prefer a volume knob to a screen. A screen just seems like a gimmick, whereas a knob is a legitimately useful feature.
What does the s stand for? I searched on ali and there is no S variance for both 81 and 67

Guys! How do i customize the rgb and the screen of the gmk67s?
you have to download this software called "Image Custom Tool". When I found the link on google, I got the one labeled for GMK87 and it worked fine on my GMK67S. I'm now trying to hunt down the json file to use VIA.
