Awesome! Get that baby on coilovers and drop it a couple of inches and you've got one hell of a show stopper. My SW20 was the first car I wrapped, and I think if you can handle an SW, with all its curves and swoops (and that back bumper), most other cars would be much easier.
Aloha my brotha! Love the islands. I normally vaca in Kauai! I started learning how to wrap by watching videos in late 2017. Go to my first vids you can watch my try to wrap my first time with cheap EBay wrap 😂
Thats sick fam! Great Job I love the color, made the car current again. I was wondering if I was to attemp to wrap my car what would be the stages? How much room? Temp? Tools? Wraps brands you prefer? Thank you
tk 2tone gotta sand and do body work before wrapping. You just need a clean space in the shade free fork wind contaminants. Just need a heat gun, knifeless tape, knife, squeegee, your hands and lots of patience. Best way is to just try it yourself and learn as you go.
@@ParadoxTheWrapper Thanks fam. Ya my older brother has a body shop, I more do mechanics and electrical on our cars. I never got into painting bc of smells with consideration of others and surroudings. Im thinking about giving wrapping a try. if you can break down some steps you take before u rap ur next project that would be appreciated. Thanks
Sure thing! You basically wipe any area the wrap will touch down with a 50/50 mix of water and 70% alcohol, Clay bar, wipe again with micro fiber and it’s ready. As long as there’s no pealing paint ur good! I wrap because I’m too poor to build a paintbooth. Also I can’t control myself and would make paint run
Great work with the wrap. Constructive criticism on the video editing is the time-lapse audio volume was extremely louder than when you were talking with your voice. Might want to even that out in the future.
Can you wrap a sanded prepped Car? I sanded my Car because I was originally going to paint it but then decided to go down the vinyl Wrap Route. I then saw online that your paintwork has to be very good to get good adhesion from the wrap,so I have now been put off.I also have a couple of areas that I used Bondo on
Ah I was quick on the trigger, I went with your intro as to the entire vid as I really wanted to see the front. Great job by the way. :) subscribed...:)
The black chrome is from a random Chinese company that reached out for me. Teckwrap has removed their reflective chrome line and is reworking the formula. I got this stuff super cheap. Kinda tough to work and I can’t guarantee it won’t mess up your paint but hey since my paint is already toast, I don’t really care. $260 something for a whole roll of black chrome I gave it a try. DM me on Instagram @paradoxstyling and I can link you to that source lol
Huck-it Media I think it ended up being almost 8 feet long to go from the front windshield to the back if you wanted to do it in one piece. One good thing is that you can use the front windshield cut out to do the trunk.
Are you using Vvivid vinyl? And how is it holding up sticking to the parts you sanded down because im in the same delimma? The edges of my 5 year old paint is chipping and I sanded it down and was wondering do I need to put a clear coat on the parts before laying the vinyl or just wrap over the sanded and primered areas.
@@ParadoxTheWrapper Cool!! Iwatched several of them. I wanted to know what is the final grit you are using before wrapping eg. 1200, 2000, 3000. and if you prep with rapid tac or alcohol. The are the questions I have that no one else on YT is explaining. By far you are the only one who wraps cars consistenly with car needing a lot of body work.
i might just do it myself. if i let a company do it it will cost me 2000 euros and this is without the safety of knowing they aint gonna rev my freshly build engine to piec es
Its great and all...but overtime it's going to fade and have to be redone. It does look amazing! However For the amount of work you did in fixing the dents you could have painted the car, which a proper job could last the rest of its life. .

Have to ask. After you sanded. Did u spay anything to the metal or sanded paint before wrapping? What was grit right before wrapping?
Super clean work! Did you do the door panels? If so, Is it 1 piece with the door cut out or do you cut out a separate piece ?
