The dress you are wearing and your fleur dress, I luv these but your knitting WOW looks like it should be in a museum, how you made that is amazing! Have a lovely week
Thank you very much, I don't really think of myself as a knitter. I have learned so much by knitting this jumper and I really have enjoyed it! I can't wait to finish this project and start a new one 😊
Thank you very much, I am really pleased with my dresses and have almost finished the Mabel dress. I have learned so much from knitting the jumper and I have really enjoyed it too 😊
I love the colours you've used in the Autumn Alpine jumper. And don't worry about the "bumpy" colourwork, (which doesn't look bumpy on camera!) once you wash and block it it will all even out.
@@KnitStitchGrow thank you so much! I was wondering if it might smooth out a bit after blocking! I am still so proud of it. And it is good to learn these things along the way 😊
Oh my goodness, I love your knitting! I’m working on my first ever colorwork pattern at the moment and didn’t know about the 5-stitch rule for catches. I definitely have some 8-stitch floats in mine near the neckline but I’m trying to catch the carried stitches more often now. I’m going to add that pattern to my queue - just beautiful!
Thank you for your comment, yes I didn't know about catching the floats either. It did make quite a big difference though so good to know! I hope you enjoy making your jumper😊
You don’t need to apologise for being busy, it’s lovely to see you whenever you can do an episode. I love seeing all your different crafts and that jumper is marvellous especially as it is your first top down and colour work project. Although I am hoping the weather isn’t suited to such a woolly jumper for a few months yet! 😂I love the shawl, I have made a very similar pattern from that kind of yarn, it was a green/brown mix called pistachio I think, but it was lace weight yarn so took ages but I love it now I’ve finished, next time I will choose at least a fingering weight. I have just finished knitting the Sanna Cardigan by creabea and I’m making covered buttons for it as I watch you. Can’t make up my mind about next knitting project, I have a few wips that I should get on with but next sewing project will be a bag, the new Kaede bum bag from @countrycowdesigns. Take care and happy making til your next episode ❤
Thank you so much four your lovely comment! It is so good to hear about all of your plans too! I am hoping to have the jumper finished for Autumn and am really hoping it is not cold enough to wear it before them! The pistachio mix colour shawl sounds so beautiful. Your knitted cardigan also sounds really lovely with the self cover buttons. Have fun making your bum bag and I hope to make another episode to keep you updated soon 😊

Nice to see you back Amelia 👋🏼 x
@@lovesredsews thanks Claire, it is good to be back 🥰
Hi Amelia, which yarn are you knitting your gorgeous sweater in? Also I love your flowery wallpaper. Regards Katrina x
Thank you very much, I am using the Scheepies River Washed yarn in 'Eisack' and 'Murray' colours. It is a cotton and acrylic blend 😊
