Hi im having a code for the ambient temperature sensor P0073 i replaced buth didnt fix the problem my ac is not blowing cold and the fan is running at the maximum speed, and i have a battery warning light on the dash what can i chek next thanks in advance

Thank you for your informative videos. Is there also a inside temperatur sensor which will keep the inside fan on even by turning the key off and the car is looked? The inside fan from my Mercedes ML350 W164 is always on since couple days and I have to charge the battery every two days.

Definitely messes with the AC. Mine is showing -40 so it’s blowing HOT
Same exact issue. Literally, -40 degrees and no AC now. Hope this is all it is. Did you replace yours and did your AC start working after?

The coolant icon came up and there's oil in the the radiator and the gear change is no more smooth - its difficult for the gear to change from take off and even more difficult as the car moves. Car [ML 350 '06] has been parked to the lockdown for about 6 weeks , only gets 'warmed' in stationary mode. I have the 'RELEARN' and its still there.
Just got a check engine light for this. Didn't know it's considered an emissions/drive train issue too. Now I can't pass inspection, which I was about to do, until I change it...

If the cable is snapped, can you fix it? Try reconnecting the cable with solder. Yes it's called the ambient air temperature harness

The car is a 1999 Mercedes Benz CLK 430. I had the water pump replaced, but now I need to know all the sensors that need to be reconnected to finish the install of the water pump area. So far, I reconnected the coolant temperature sensor, the MAP sensor in the water pump area. There are other sensors in the water pump area but i don't know what they are and their sensor function. Help me to identify those other sensors above the water pump on my clk 430.

I have the same problem. 185f with the fan on all the time ,i did change the fuse 15 ma burned, and ac not working did change the sensors, but nothing changed, any ideas to check?

My 2008 E350 Air Conditioning is sometimey, putting out warm at first and cool later, then sometimes warm again. Any ideas?
how fast does your compressor cycles On/Off/On... if this is super fast you have a leak. Double check your shraeder valves for slow leaks

vinayak pawar easy - temperature changing in the morning, afternoon and looks like weather outside. It seems sensor works I guess))
Mine has P0072,what’s the difference ? Says that the same sensor has a circuit to ground.
Rarely a sensor will fail and show as a direct short. Use a an ohm meter to check it. Should be in the K ohm range anything below that will mean the sensor needs replaced. If the sensor tests good i suspect you have a wire chaffed or eaten by a rodent... Find the sensor and follow the wire back to the carnage!.

you have to get this part from the dealership (vin specific). You might also be lucky to find one used at a salvage yard.

Yes, it may. You can confirm that with a scan tool, which would show code P0071, and/or P0072, and/or P0073.
Thank you i switched it out my self, the hardest part was taking off the plastic at the bottom of the car lol well not hard but annoying
