Had me one of them one cat nights a few days ago. Wind kept me off the water in the morning so I tried for the night bite. Same deal....had several bites but only one hooked up. Weather was nice and the beer was cold, not much wrong with that. Ever do any night fishing for flatheads? Keep up the good work, brother!

Some days they're just not hungry. I think next time I'm not getting hook ups I'm going to downsize my hook to a 6/0 and downsize my baits also. Maybe that will entice a better hookup. I've never really tried targeting Flatheads, so its not something I know much about. I'm definitely going to give it a try one day.
