I bet if you went back to fishing out the little Jon boat your views would go up. Once you went up to the bigger boat it gets watered down with the other 100s of catfish guys watching a bunch of rods at the back of their boat. Just my take on it but I could be wrong.

Could you explain more about why you chose to fish this location to help us newbies learn
I fish many different locations, but this one is a branch off of a huge creek that I like to fish because one it holds bait and therefore holds fish, and it's mainly out of the wind and rough water. The main lake when windy can put out 3-6 ft chop. My boat won't handle all of that. 3 ft yes anything larger I have to move to calmer water.
