New subscriber here as your channel has just popped up on my lap-top and I'm so glad that it did as your garden is stunning. I bought Clematis Avalanche last week as I saw it in full bloom on Paul T's channel. Lychnis is one of my favourite plants too and I have it in pink and white. It is so easy to move the self seeders. Watching your video makes me want a white garden now and I always love it when my Spiraea Bridal Wreath blooms in the Spring. Thank you for posting.
Thank you for watching and your lovely comments. I too have a Spiraea in the white garden, the variety is Snowmound. They don’t flower for long but they are gorgeous when they do. Thank you for subscribing 😊
Thank you, it means a lot coming from someone with a beautiful garden themselves! I’m a subscriber of your channel so I was particularly delighted when I saw your comment 😊
Hello, I just came across your channel and my objective is to create a white garden but I too have hints of purple and pink perennials especially in the front garden that has a lot of sun . You have beautiful gardens and property! 🌸❤️🇨🇦
Hello and welcome. Until I posted on UA-cam I had no idea of the popularity of white gardens around the world. This is my third year developing this space which all came about following my visit to Sissinghurst Castle Gardens which is in Kent in the UK. If you want inspiration check the White garden out there it is absolutely stunning. Thank you so much for watching 😊
Thanks for the advice, I’ll also probably only buy type 3 in future. Since I planted the clematis it is no more, I lost it with another one also in the white garden when the garden flooded for several weeks in the winter and spring earlier this year 🙁
Have just found your channel, and really enjoyed your informative and we'll presented video. Would be interested to know where in UK you are based, to give an idea of climatic conditions (for last frost date/annual rainfall etc), and your soil type and ph (do rhododendron or lilacs prefer your soil?). Perhaps these details could be included in your accompanying notes? It was handy to have the plant's hardiness details given too. Lots of channels state either the US hardiness Zone or the THE UK equivalent But if course these don't equate well because our climatic conditions are so different, so giving the temperatures instead seems a great idea. But I'd suggest you provide that in both Centigrade and Fahrenheit (for the US viewers, lol). I do hope you build up this channel as it looks really great, and your garden is stunning. Look forward to the next one!
Thank you again 😊. I garden in rural Northumberland & our climate is pretty wet, we don’t have the dry hot sunny summers the south of the UK seem to enjoy (last year being the exception). As I garden in and around an old sandstone quarry the soil conditions vary but large areas are very acidic, I grow a lot of rhododendrons. Thanks for your support!
Lovely purple garden field!! Thanks for sharing the Deer. Blessings 🥰👵🏽🌹
Thank you for taking the time to watch 😊
Absolutely beautiful ❤
Thank you for the lovely comment, very much appreciated 🙏😊

Beautiful garden!!!
Thank you, very much appreciated 😊
Beautiful gadern Sue
Thank you 😊
Here in western new York it’s mainly type 2 clematis that suffers from wilt. I plant primarily type 3 since t1 suffers from something called winter!
