All the way to the Alaska and beyond for a memorable visit and one of my highlights was Hobby Lobby 😉. Some tourists return with perfume, leather goods, me a suitcase full of faux plants. Thank you 😊. Yes garden furniture can be very expensive here in the UK. In the past I had wooden furniture but our climate is so wet it was difficult to stop the rot. Now I have a mixture of rattan and metal, so far so good. Thanks for watching

Your pots and containers are simply gorgeous. The addition of the lights makes them positively ethereal. My sister and I have a long-standing tradition of scavenging our yards and gardens each year for natural materials to make tabletop arrangements. I used to always ditch the hedging offcuts but now I keep everything for Christmas displays. It’s lovely that you have a long standing tradition with your sister. Absolutely magical, Sue, from the beginning snowfall to the end with evening lights and deer in the mist! A perfect video, really. I love the way you mix the greens in the pots; I cut a lot from my gardens for the outdoor displays too so it was fun to see how you used yours. I love the idea of using an obelisk in the pot to wrap lights around - I just twined my through the tree branches but I'll try the obelisks next year. Have a wonderful holiday!

Thank you for the lovely comments. I don’t practice any deer control, fortunately they tend to stick to the quarry woodland and only wander into the top quarry gardens this time of year. They do inflict some damage to shrubs but nothing too destructive, thankfully. Merry Christmas 🎄
