Simon Reeve continues his journey through the Americas. In this second leg, Simon is in the United States travelling down the Rocky Mountains from Montana to Colorado. In the wide-open prairies of Montana, the cowboy way of life is under threat from a long-term decline in the rural economy, but Simon meets a former Silicon Valley executive who has envisaged a new future for the land. The hugely ambitious American Prairie Reserve is attempting to turn three million acres of former ranches, farms and public lands into a protected habitat for America’s wildlife, reintroducing iconic species long extinct, including the North American bison. It is a move being welcomed by native American groups still living under the shadow of historical injustice.

Yesterday there was a massive shooting in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas. The narcos ambushed the State Police, the same ones shown in the video. 16 heavily armored truck's with .50 caliber turrets attacked state police who were sheltered in a hotel. The result of this confrontation, 6 dead narcos and 2 injured police. Being a citizen of this city, I really respect and appreciate what these policemen do, they risk their lives, they are at a disadvantage, they are usually ambushed by long caravans of narcos with heavy weapons, regardless of that, they always come out victorius

You probably have seen Carabinieri officers with the submachine gun (cuz is hard to see State police officers with the M12 if they're not in trouble). Plus the armaments are old. We do have a Lot of Special forces and Not only small Units but also Division Sized Units but you never See them because the amount of situations we need them is really Low.

Actually every weapon is a war weapon. Weapons made for war so laser or not yes it is a war weapon. And btw i have seen soldiers using this specific weapon in night operations. They were the special forces of the US. So also yes they use this weapon in tactical situations.
