  • Blueberry Biscuits are simply and easy to make. They are a delightful sweet treat for a special breakfast or dessert. This homemade version is much better than the fast food Boberry version.
I share several tips and techniques in this video to help you make perfect biscuits. However, the best advice I can give you is to make biscuits. The more you make them the better you will get at it.
Proverbs 25:27 It is not good to eat much honey: so for men to search their own glory is not glory.
Remember to put God first! :)
    Ingredients:
    2 cups Self-Rising Flour

    2 tablespoons Sugar
    1+ cups Blueberries
    1 cup Powdered Sugar
    1/4 cup Milk

Hey Miss Becky! I absolutely love Homemade Biscuits! Mama made them Every Morning, n Night but sometimes 3 times a day. So do I... It's our way of life. I love Blueberry Biscuits or with anykind of Homemade Jams n Jellies! Nothing like them. Just butter n Sugar biscuits are good. Alot of times we ate just butter n jelly or sugar biscuits to eat. 9-13 eating at our house. If flour wasn't to short, we'd have gravy. Mama could always feed us something. We was very poor. I remember eating just 1 biscuit so Mama n Daddy could eat more. I was next to oldest and was the smartest. I knew when they were hungry and would go without so us kids could eat. I played sick many times so they could eat something! These Blueberry Biscuits bring back alot of Memories of Love in my home! God Provides if you have Faith! Thank you Sweetheart. You have such a glow to your face. Good things n Happiness shows in your eyes! God Bless You Sister Becky... 😁😁❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏
PS. Everyone and Anyone that wants to make Biscuits can do it! They don't have to be pretty or look the best! If a 8 yr old child can make a biscuit, Anybody can. I started when I was 8 yrs old and never stopped. Lol. I taught my kids, boys n girls and my Grandchildren n will teach my Great Grandbabies if the Lord don't come first! They're only 2 yrs, 2 are 1 yr olds n a month old baby girl.. 4 Great Grandbabies and my Joy in life! Lol. It only takes a few minutes to whoop up a pan of biscuits n a few to cook them and you'll be so happy you did! Please everyone, give it a try! Miss Becky is right, Y'all can do it! Don't think about it to much just grab your Flour, Shortening and Buttermilk n Start whooping them up! This Ga Grandmaw could teach you so fast n just watch Becky! She showed you how already and she has videos up on how to do it! I love you Sister Becky and Keep you in my Prayers! 🙏❤😁

And any homemade biscuit tastes better than factory made. At least to me. Like you say, it doesn't have to be fancy. A cook can get fancy after they realize there's no mystery to baking biscuits from scratch. Love your story.

I don't know why those verses caught my attention when you mentioned them in your video. But I have been working on them to memorize.

    Are biscuits like scones?
This recipe especially is just like the scones only we shape it into a disc then divide into 5 - 6 pieces or triangles, separate them and bake them. It is recommended to chill it a bit before dividing so it wouldn’t break or fall apart.
Okay, I just found out that the only difference between scones and biscuits boils down to eggs. Scones have them, biscuits don’t. 🤷🏻‍♀️😄👍🏻

Yum! I make these often and switch up the fruit like you said. A favorite over here is cranberry with orange glaze. If you're out of fruit just adding a little flavored (orange, lemon, cinnamon, lime almond, etc) glaze over the biscuits makes a nice treat and a welcomed little change from routine for the kiddos too! Whenever i see different extracts on sale i buy them because they last forever and add a nice surprise of flavor easily.

He didn't step down because "his church " wouldn't survive without him. He also teaches that people should be hearing God speak out loud to them & fully endorses the nonsense his son teaches.

These look so good. I love blueberries. I would leave out the extra sugar and the glaze as I like the flavor of just the biscuit, and the blueberries are really sweet for me by themselves, but that's me.

Wonderful that you give encouragement to those who have yet built their confidence in biscuit making. Use can biscuits, that’s a sweet reminder to busy moms and dads. It doesn’t have to be “scratch” it’s still “homemade” My grandies and I enjoy making biscuits and sweet memories together. Thank you and God bless you Becky

I can hear the sizzle! "Smellavision " would be nice. Will definitely try this recipe. We really enjoy the brownies from your cookbook! Thank you for sharing Proverbs. A new friend asked if our church had a women's Bible Study group. I said , No, let's start one! "What would you like to study?" Without hesitation she replied, "Proverbs!" Four other friends have joined us, such a blessing to be in this group, and we like to nibble goodies as we read/study. Your biscuits would be a hit I'm sure, thank you very much!

My Nanny Cobble used only her hands. Those biscuits were amazing!! I asked her once when she mixed with her hands why she did it that way. She said, “it puts love in them”. Never have had a better biscuit since she passed. The Elders really knew what is important and how simple ways can make the best outcomes!
