This park has always been my home park, and I can confirm Wicked Cyclone has been on steroids this year. Aside from its opening year, usually I thought it took its elements a little slower than intended. But this year it has been AMAZING. I’m not sure if it was the year hiatus that helped, but certainly hoping it stays this way, and glad people like you who visit for the first time this year will have such fantastic rides on it.
I think I’m one of the only people who had a really rough ride on Thunderbolt. The highlight of the ride for me was the sign where Foghorn Leghorn said to stay in the car.
Those bunny hills at the end are hilariously insane lmao

As a ride operator at this park (often working Superman) I’m glad you were pleased with the operations. Post COVID has made for some challenges and we are trying hard to keep lines at bay and dispatches safe and quick. Also Wicked Cyclone has been absolutely hauling this year. I think the wheels got replaced so it’s running faster that previous years.

I visited multiple times this summer and you can definitely tell the difference from previous years… this thing was hauling! Also just wanna say you guys at Superman were great every visit this year, arguably best ops in the park 👍
“Wicked cyclone does not lose steam at all,” you’re are absolutely right! Glad to hear someone else say this! This ride slaps! It’s my personal #2 behind El Toro (but I haven’t been to Cedar Point yet).
I remember going here and getting bad rides on nearly everything. My favorite ride was Superman, than Wicked Cyclone, than Joker.
That’s rough. This is a very hit or miss park for most
@@CoasterDash I went today and it’s way better than I remember. Joker was a bit less enjoyable than I remember, but I enjoyed Batman the Dark Knight, Riddler, and Thunderbolt a decent amount. The wild mouse is terrible though and makes me take back everything bad I’ve said about every other wild mouse I’ve ridden.
I agree the park has a lot of clones, but a lot of them are on the upper end of that particular clone. And then the top two is what I usually marathon. Although I prefer Superman even with the modified restraints.

I used to operate Catwoman’s Whip and got some flashbacks when you brought up the flooded queue lol. Great list! I will say that on the day you went, Superman was running slightly worse than usual and WC was running slightly better than usual. Hopefully on a return trip you get to experience both in peak form.

Agree with almost everything on your list, I was there a few days before that storm came in and shut them down. Wicked Cyclone was running insanely well on my visit, it's for sure my #2 RMC behind Steel Vengeance

I’m pretty sure I was there the day you were talking about… the reason wicy was running so fast because it was a rainy day and the track was wet, it usually looses steam in the 3rd lap

Wicked Cyclone is an easy #1. Rode it 3 times and even though it was difficult to compare it to Superman, I still thought it was better due to the airtime.

I think you may already know this but this is one of my home parks. I was at SeaWorld Orlando yesterday, and it wasn’t a good day. I’m happy you had a good time!

I prefer Superman to Wicked Cyclone, but I agree with the rest of you placements.
I heard from people who have SFNE as their home, that Superman got new wheels in 2019, and tht it's been running the best it has since it got new trains, so it's weird that it seemed to be slow for you.

Although Wicked Cyclone isn't as big, fast, or intense as its big brother, Steel Vengeance, I think it's a bit more smooth and comfortable in comparison!
just a tip, ride your next rmc in the back row, while turned around looking at the track behind you, I promise you it makes it feel dangerously out of control and intense
that sounds horrifying but I love the sound of it. Will do that with Outlaw Run next week 😆
Considering you don't seem the most enthralled about Superman the Ride, which do you think is better, Superman the ride or Ride of Steel?
I still really like Superman: The Ride *a lot*, but I sort of think and was expecting an overrated ride. I do prefer it to Superman: RoS, but contrary to most, it’s not too far off. RoS is one of the most underrated hypers i’ve tried out 🙌🏻
