You may have noticed, but the emblems say goodbye in the reverse order that the games were released! Byleth first ending with Marth.

It is a good thing Marth has experience with Dragons.

I'll admit it. I cried. It reminded me so much of the ending of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. I just love all these characters so deeply, especially our Hero-King. I feel like I've been friends with Marth forever.

Seeing the goodbye start from three houses all the way to Shadow Dragon/Mystery is definitely tear jerking but in a happy way because I know everyone has a personal FE game that they started their experience with the series

i haven't played the game yet, but does this mean that the emblem spirits are dead? Also in order for them to be in rings does that mean that they canonically died in their previous games.
Not really. The Emblems themselves are basically memories of the hero. They know that they're not the real deal but have memories of their true self. Corrin and Byleth are unique as they are amalgamations of all of their respective routes but Byleth doesn't have all of the Hope stuff as that game was quickly made while Engage was done and just sitting there
@@huyhoangminhdo7738 funny enough byleth is in a recent fire emblem game on switch they aren’t dead but in fire emblem heroes u can summon them
@@Heira ok? What's your point here? Heroes are summoned to Zennith, fight, got memory wipe, and return back to their worlds as if nothing had happened so they don't need to be dead to be summonable

They’re cognitive spirits to that of the original lords in the respective game yet aren’t original. This is Elyso, a different world that separates to the others continent of the lands they originated. Basically they are spirits of the past but are different. They said it themselves that they are not the original

--"Dark Dragon and Blade of Light" is the original Marth game.
--"Mystery of the Fire emblem" is both a remake and a sequel"
--"Shadow Dragon" is a true remake of the 1st game"
--"New Mystery of the Fire Emblem" is like the "definitive edition" with a brand new story.

--"Gaiden" which is the original.
--"Echoes: Shadow of Valentia" is the modern remake.
--Side story to "Marth Era", but story is standalone.

You can start with any game, but only a few of them are connected.
NGL I cried like a baby when I first saw this scene, and it's one of the reasons why I'm so hesitant to replay the game. I know Engage 2 is a pipe dream because of its poor sales/reception and it's very basic and finite ending, but I hope that sometime down the line Alear (and Veyle) get to see the emblems again.
