Actually Adam Ivy is one of them with a background in Digital Marketing, and he does say that ads have their place in the strategy but it's not the whole picture. We as a Rock band agree with this too, FB ads are an important of the strategy, along with a few other things.

I made a leadpages Landing page with a Facebook pixel that leads to the single on all Facebook platforms. I’m in your courses but thought you didn’t link to your music only because the song wasn’t out yet. Now I see your pinned music video has a link now.

I have focused more on Facebook ads to promote music on Instagram with link to Spotify but not happy with results. You can target multiple things, ideally, you'd narrow your audience with each interest. You can target magazines and websites of your genre, other artists similar to your sound, etc :) Let me know if you need more help setting up your ads for free croce.guido12@gmail.com
