Dear Diana,
You do such a great job with helping us get into better styles. Plus, you always emphasize that we don't necessarily need to buy anything new, it's learning to use what we have in a different way. I am a "rectangle" body shape and not curvy at all. Some times it's hard to look feminine, but your suggestions of using certain nice pieces of jewelry I believe are key. I have inherited my grandmother's pearls... happy that they are still in style!!
I live in the small state of Rhode Island in New England, USA, where the styles are rather conservative, so I like the fact that you stay with the "time less" styles.
Thank you again and may God bless you and your family this Christmas season.
Miss Monique 🙂🙏🌷
Hi Monique! Thank you for sharing your story! I love the pieces that have history and emotions behind. I’m also quite rectangular, so these options definitely work on straight bodytypes as well. And accessories make it always more chic and feminine.
I loved this, especially the slip skirts with sweaters. So practical rather than party dresses that are worn once and then left in a wardrobe.
My point exactly! I wear them once a year, and only one. probably a sign for me to to go out more🙈
I could have never thought of these ideas and outfit formulas! You truly make styling fun and easy! Thank you!
Wow! So glad! Thank you for sharing it with me! Made my day! 🤗
You are such a gift for women who love fashion but dont really know how to style their wardrobe to feel beautiful and confident in their everyday life. Thank you from Canada !!!! 🥰
I've had a hunter green silk slip skirt in my wardrobe for over a year and have never worn it. Thank you for offering some illustrations of curvy, full busted women (like me) pulling off a casual look I can see myself in! And also, thanks for showing the shoes. I don't see myself in the sexy mules now that temps are dropping here in the NYC region, but some slides would do the trick! Appreciate you!!!
I wear my satin skirt with a low v-neck flounced white shirt and belt it. (Don't forget the slip and shapewear.)
If you are shopping for a slip skirt, look for a thicker one that is A-line rather than a fish fin (mermaid) style.
Fun and practical outfit ideas. Thank you.
According to Google The average US woman is a size 14/16/18 and 5’4” tall, the models in the examples are Tall, mostly 5’8” and above, clothes hang different on shorter people.
True, but that doesn't mean we have to exclude or "shame" slim women either. There's room for all of us & Diane, being naturally slim & elegant deserves to be embraced too. Stop with the pettiness everyone! Celebrate the Feminine ❤
@@adriennebrown3778 I was just stating a fact I read.
I’m a seamstress, and have sewn for all body types, the cut of garments will hang differently on short vs long tall people.
As people were commenting on the approximate size of the plus model shown, I was adding that her height would make a difference visually.
I am of average height and border on slim, but I wear junior and children sizes on my top half.
It helps me visualize how clothes will look on me to have a reference. I’m not shaming anyone, sorry if I didn’t come across that way.
Diana I love your videos! They have given me so much inspiration and really helped me change my frumpy style (makes me look much younger than my 55+ years and feel even younger)! Please share where you shop for your purses!!! I love their uniqueness!! Thank you for your positivity!!!
Wow! I am so glad to hear that! Thank you so much for such a great feedback about my work! Means a lot to me🙌
The embellished skirt is fabulous on you: perfect daring chic! I recently wore a bright pink sequinned slit skirt with a beige deep V necked cardigan & my mother's long pearl necklace knotted at my cleavage. I felt swanky, sexy & cool in a fun way. I had stiletto black suede Mary Jane shoes as well, & pearl drop earrings. I am 67 years old 😂
I'm sure you looked very pretty in this outfit. It sounds perfect ❤
Right, there's no age limit for good style.😊
I love your style and taste! ❤
Those photos are of much younger women. I'm 77 and am petite, but have an undefined waist, as do most women my age. My legs are on the longer side and I am fit.
Gorgeous!
Thank you! 😊
So many great ideas Diana. I can't wait to recreate some of these. Ty for the inspiration on such stylish outfits. Happy holidays to you and your loved ones.
Thank you! Happy holidays to you to!
Loved Outfit 1, 3, 4! ❤ Great style inspo! As someone who loves all-black outfits, I definitely want to invest in a black satin blazer! 🖤
Thank you for your comment! ❤️

First one,V beautiful lady ❤
Great outfits, I love them all 🥰.The seethrough skirt reminds me of a long armed and long legged tight and high necked jumpsuit I used to wear at the discothec a long time ago, that I loved. It was completly in grey lace. I just wore a bodysuit (underwear) underneath. Got a lot of compliments for it. 😂
The first transparent skirt will work w a min slip skirt in black worn under it. I had a beaded party skits that had a built in mini underskirt that looked fabulous.
Great tip! 👌
Hi Diana. Yay, another amazing video. I really appreciate how you brought in currier options. Every example was amazing. I loved them all. 😊💕👍🏼
So glad to hear that! Thank you! 🤗
Diana, I don't see the clothes listed in the box. I see the jewelry. :) Maybe you just meant you would be putting the jewelry in the box. Love your videos. You are always helpful.
It’s in the comments. Please check it out☝🏻
I'd still like to see "lumpy" rather than "curvy" models with flat stomachs and hips. Thanks.
Neither of the similar white jumpers are like the one you r wearing I wouldn't wear a polo neck on a night out
The one I am wearing is old as I mentioned. The others are crew necks, I don’t really have any polo necks you referred to;) either way wear what you feel confident in and enjoy! Positive vibes are the key! 😀
OMG. That see through skirt with absolutely no hiding of your underwear might float in the online world but if I were to wear that where I live, especially being plus sized...I would be laughed out of town!
You can always wear an undergarment skirt underneath, so everything will be fully covered and look appropriate even if you go to a formal event. You can style this skirt differently, it’s quite versatile 👌
But fashion & style can also embrace daring, fun & edge... in tbe right venue, with friends or family near you, you can show up as "that woman" & make everyone want to be you 😂 I am 67 & appreciate that skirt & how Diane styled it!
Thank you for the video Diana including the plus size model. However, those models are not plus size. Plus size in my book is size 16 and up
Would love to know about the half moon bag but the link comes up blank.
The half moon black bag is from The Row.
I like to watch your videos. I am from Germany.
I have a few etuidresses. I would like to style them modern. I wonder if you have a video with this. Habe a nice day.🎄
Thank you! Greetings to Germany 🇩🇪

great video, but i have to laugh. i may own a few cashmere sweaters, but of all the clothes and shoes shown, that's it. i do, love that sheer skirt though!

I thought wearing slacks over the shoes was taboo.😮
The only taboe when it comes to style is to “taboo” smth. Style is about experimenting and expressing yourself. Some work, some don’t , nothing is a taboo))
Hi! You look amazing but I find the plus size a bit unrealistic... You are showing a model with perfect body even if she is a bit bigger. Plus size women don't have flat stomac and flat belly. You have to show normal plus size people and make your outfits look good. I was very slim and now I'm overweight so I know I couldn't wear a silk skirt under my belly and show it.
Why don't you look for another fashion youtuber with more similar shapes to yours? There are many of them and I think they all do a good job in fashion. Vanessa Nicole for example or Missesviolet (welk, if you understand german, but there are many who speak english too). I personaly prefer watch someone that have a similar body to mine. So I watch Diana.😊
@@nelly8592 thank you, I will😉
Not fond of anklets and ballet flats; much too jenuvile. Also, satin shows flaws lke bumps and cellulite.
Sheer doesn't float in the real world.
Heavier weight satin can work - and Diana is always careful to say so. But I totally agree about the socks (stop the eye and creates a very choppy look) and the embellished skirt (even with more modest tights it’s only runway appropriate). That said, there’s tons of good in this video. ❤
I’m sure someone will point it out to you the first “plus” model you featured is very much NOT a plus sized woman. She’s probably a US 10-12, maybe 14. Very much mid-size and smaller than the average size woman who is a US 18. If you use women sized US 24 that would be better representative.
Us size 18 is considered plus size. I wore that size for many years. Diana is a stylist. So I'm sure she knows who is plus size and who isn't. Half of the women in the US wear clothes that are several sizes to small for them. In my opinion and my experience wearing a size 18, the first model could very well wear a size 18.
The first model in green was not wearing a US 18, she was wearing an 8-10 which is standard size, not plus size. It’s not possible to wear pants smaller than my size.
If I'm not mistaken, most plus-sized models actually wear 12-14. (Yes, I realize size 12 is not really plus-sized unless it is a 12W size.)
One day I am sure, I will have my own modelling agency with all the gorgeous women of all shapes and sizes to dress and present them in my videos, and I will definitely ask you to be one of them 🤗 so far, I am grateful that clothing brands feature bigger women in their lookbooks and actually offer a wide range of sizes (14 and above) for the styles I pick for the video.
But compared to Diane the model is plus sized.
Great ideas. Very inspirational. All gorgeous except that B belt. Can’t believe people are still wearing that brand. Shame on you. Get the Lily Silk belt it would suit you better.
Sorry, I'm not a belt wearer and am clearly missing something. What is a B belt?
I am not ashamed at all. I love the brand, their design and heritage irrespective of the campaign made by humans who tend to make mistakes as all of us do.
Re-phrase "Shame on you"; unnecessary & a projection. Own your own stuff & see where it applies in your life.
Quite insulted that you called regular size women "plus size." 😠 Just because someone is not skinny does not make them plus size!!!!
The average U.S. woman is size 14 and weighs 170 pounds. That is on the cusp, or perhaps over, the line of plus size, at least in some clothing lines.
I did NOT. I mentioned request about “real size” and said that I’m going to show clothes on myself and “curvier” models. Anyways who cares about size, as long as woman loves her body and presents it with confidence irrespective of the “categories” she falls in.
@@americafirst9144 that is absolutey not true! i work in retail clothing and the average us woman is definitely NOT a size 14.
@@twistedyoga7432 Statistically that is true. Larger women tend to shop on-line rather than in stores.
@@americafirst9144 still disagree 100%. i have worked in retail clothing for 40 years. the corp store i currently work at also sells online and those items are shipped from stores. another interesting fact, the majority of clothing that ends up on our sale rack is sizes 12-18, so they're not even being ordered online. it's funny, the word is fat. people have no problem calling women skinny but apparently the opposite of that word is fat and people tend to get offended and have to use other phrases. i do believe americans tend to be fat because most lead a horribly unhealthy lifestyle. however, in my decades of experience, the average size is definitely NOT 14.
