Hi Diane, thanks for your videos very informative. Give great ideas. Your sport cap 🧢 with elegant pieces is not my take but in someone with your body looks nice. Lovely guy will get handy
I like how you took the same pieces and showed how they can be upgraded. Most channels give entire new pieces. I don't have the budget to go buy entire new pieces all the time.
You have all my thanks and gratitude Diana! I sincerely have changed a lot and found my style all due to your amazing advice and instructions. Your patient and energy for fashion and styling always shows through! Thank you for always making informative contents! You have helped me to chanel my personality into my looks! Keep going beautiful. You’re the best and a lovable soul naturally. My best wishes.
As always, Diana -- simple concepts that make big transformations. LOVE the Out of the Box hack at the close. A great way to casual-ize the many pieces I have from decades of working in an office. Plus, you're encouraging us to play! Thank you.
Love your content, love your videos! I am looking to learn more about video editing. Which editing software do you recommend? Thanks so much in advance. Keep making your outstanding content!
Loving all the tailored pants suit!!! To me personally what's important is the sillhoutte. My body shape is currently out of whack or even shapeless, but the right sillhoutte will make up for that. And I also swear by color combinations a lot. I love block colors and patterns too, but some patterns can really swallow your face. I usually choose the ones that strengthen my face too. LOVING THE TIPS!!
Diana, you are just glowing in that lovely blouse. Thank you for simplifying colour theory. I have been reading a lot about it and it is very confusing. That burgundy colour looks amazing on you.
Oh thank you! I am really glad to hear it was helpful for you! My next video will be about colours, I guess it will be definitely interesting for you then!
I have some of these items in my closet and gathered a few to experiment with. I wish I could insert a photo to show what I uncovered. I may post it to the FB page. I have learned a lot from you and appreciate the encouragement to experiment. For example I never used any kind of tucking method, but find that I now use it all the time. You have to fiddle with the blousing to get the desired effect. My problem area is my round middle and I’ve learned how to dress around that thanks to you and your team.
Thank you so much for such a kind comment and your trust! You‘ve done such an amazing job throughout all our challenges. A true I spy for me, the entire team and all the community ❤️👏🤗
Great video! Thanks for the color combo ideas! I always have a little trouble knowing which colors to add to neutrals! This was very helpful! Great outfits!
Love all the looks except the vivi dress! I have the dress in cream and black and I was looking forward to your styling them. I live in Florida so I rarely wear a coat. Could you do just styling the dress? I’d appreciate it. Thanks.
I appreciate the variety of styling ways you show the video. However, I question how some of the outfits really work if you need to remove the outerwear indoors. For example, the outfit with the cream dress, black boots and coat. In any case, thank you for inspiration!
Great video again, although many video’s at the moment seems to be only animated adds for Lilysikl, ehich btw looks great when new, but doesnt really wear that well… but understandable 😊 - question, where do you get a whitee tshirt with such a high neckline? Most seems to have a lower necklineand then therefore is not really showing.. thanks in advance.
I love your tutorials and learn so much. HOWEVER the sweaters wrapped around the neck? It seems so "tennis anyone?" It especially looks odd when the arms are wrapped around the neck over a winter coat. Why not just wear a scarf? You're awesome!!!!
Beauty comes from the inside. Which means that someone dressed comfortably, can look lovely and interesting . Someone dressed following all your advices, still won't shine if there is no shine from within.
JJ Footwear is great with XXL calves (my calves used to be 54cm wide and I could find perfect boots including riding ones in this brand... if budget is an issue as it was for me, I found them all on Vinted in very good condition 🤷🏼♀️
I wear clothes that make me look and feel amazing, regardless of the time of year. I don't follow fashion trends and "rules". I only support local businesses and women owned businesses. I don't shop at retail chain stores.
Pretty outfits. But You are thin. Anything looks good on you. Try being 10 pounds over weight and tying and sweater in the middle just makes one look heavier. I truly dislike all these style channels that are not realistic for aging figures. I don’t dress dumpy. I look great and dress great for being 73.
I am 74 and am 20 pounds overweight and I have some of these looks in my wardrobe. I have been taking Diana’s classes. My tummy is my biggest problem area and I find that I can wear these styles, especially the large tan turtleneck with the black leggings and skirt. I never use to do any tucking, but now I find various versions of the tuck are flattering and make the legs look longer for the 1/3 to 2/3 body proportions while skimming over the tummy area. I never would have put some of these looks together until I took classes from Diana and watched her videos.
I have a video with Pear Shape model, if that could be any help for you. I have to work work with what I got, and there will always be people who can relate and who can’t regardless my shape and age. Anyways thank you for your feedback!
@@dianagoss That’s so kind. I appreciate it. If I may say so I have a great figure for my age and people think I’m in my 50’s not 70’s. Perfect proportions.. I’m 5’2 and 130 pounds not pear shaped at all. I’m just not bone thin. You are beautiful. The clothes you showed are beautiful. I’m not criticizing just a statement. Blessings
Very nice elevated outfits, just the way I also prefere since long - classy with a special/individual/spicy kick, not only featuring trends that don't work on anybody by covering personality and real style. The only nogo for me is this - pardon me! - horrible cap combined with elegant pieces. May be, it s because I'm a European, not an American... Claudia ❤
Ahaha! Well the cap is always optional! Even though I’d say it’s more European than American trend to wear it with more tailored pieces to dress them down))
good tipps. Thank you! ... but... always those sunglasses!!!! in daily life you hardly wear them... leave them out and please find something else to make the look more cool... ;)
People who wear glasses…and all of us require them at age 50…if you’re not wearing glasses or contacts at 50 you are lying…you need them to read at 50, even if you never wore them before. The problem with glasses, is that in effect they become jewellery. You should not wear earrings when you wear glasses. Trendy glasses, or even trendy conservative glasses are too much with earrings. Your glasses are your jewellery. Please think about those of us over 50, getting closer to 60. You start to develop bunions (most everyone does at 60, esp. with the pointy toe shoes you promote. I find that that often you put too many layers on. When you are busty, slim hipped you do not want this many layers….it just is too much and even on a smaller frame, just too much…..I also wonder…where are you wearing all these “elegant” looks. I don’t live in downtown London, UK. Even in Toronto, street fashion is not what you promote. I admit your looks are lovely, just not practical for the everyday look to go to the grocery store in a small town of 160,000 people. Maybe to go to the doctor, or to a party, but not in my town. In fact, some of your earlier “quirkier” looks, before you re-made your look were quite interesting. The “quirky” factor was more interesting and “street” friendly. You need to consider those of us who are aging, wear glasses, have a few small bunions, live in colder climates and generally wear puffer coats all winter. We don’t often wear raincoats here in fall season, simply because it clogs up our closets and they really aren’t as practical as the French like to think…they may be in Paris where it is windy, but never too cold, but not practical anywhere else in the world that I know of. Not even in Rome. Climactic conditions dictate what you wear. For example, wide leg pants, in snow, are a no go. Just end up at work with soggy bottom of your pants all day. Most work places don’t have hooks to hang all the layers you suggest on, OR, worse yet, you do hang your layers, in your not so private office where people come in and out all day and they get stolen. No lockers in the workplace anymore. I ask you to think more about practicality. Your looks though are lovely. .
very disappointed with Lilysilk’s product, i bought a blue and white stripe button up Lilysilk shirt just a few months ago and it is already colourfast the second time of hand washing, not to mention the poor quality of craftsmanship, stripes don’t have pattern tracing at all, and worst after-sold service
I am so sorry to hear that! I have exactly the same shirt but really super happy with it. I will definitely contact the team about it. Thank you for ur feedback!

Gorgeous looks, love your advice. Thinking Outside the Box is probably my weakest point, I will try to find ways to do that. Great video 🎉

Where did you get the red and white socks? Love them.
I love watching your videos, and the ideas that you share with us. I really loved your outfit with the baseball cap.

Love all the looks except the vivi dress! I have the dress in cream and black and I was looking forward to your styling them. I live in Florida so I rarely wear a coat. Could you do just styling the dress? I’d appreciate it. Thanks.

The dress looks really nice without coat just with boots and tote, they already dress it down.
All of my pants that have long hems are worn and ragged. Can you discuss proper pant lengths to avoid this and still be stylish? Love your videos.
Where are the earrings from? ❤

Where did you get your riding boots? I've been looking for a classy looking one for a while now. Thanks in advance!
I took a screenshot of them and then a reversed image search and they look like Toteme Riding Boots.
Mine are toteme, I left the links in the comments, but you can find similar ones in Massimo dutti and mango.
I need such videos so much.
Please, could you put a link to the leggins in the first outfit version?
They are from Calzedonia but from years ago already.
So beautiful blouse Diana! Is it from lily silk? Are they help with the sizes?
Yes it’s Lilly silk. I am wearing size 4. But better check for the measurements to know exactly best size for you. Or contact them directly!
I’m in for everything but the black hose and silver kitten heels with baseball cap. I’ll have to sit that one out. 😅
Beauty comes from the inside.
Which means that someone dressed comfortably, can look lovely and interesting .
Someone dressed following all your advices, still won't shine if there is no shine from within.
I can't find riding boots for thick ankles, calves and wide feet 😩 I can't figure out how to balance my body shape, short, thick and wide
I would start with mango or Massimo dutti. They do have very interesting models.
Try Comfortview Wide Calf Azalea riding boots.

@@Patricia-pq4jqyes, that’s really helpful to hear
What bread is the baseball cap ?
Zara mens , but an old one
When you exchanged the burgundy silk blouse for the black turtleneck your beautiful face popped, and the blouse was secondary.
I rarely wear black without adding another colour)) thank you for ur feedback
Why the white pants all the time??
❤
❤❤
How about plus size
I will make a separate video about it!
My hight 5.7 broad structure
‘How to instantly upgrade your outfit’ would be much more helpful if you show how the original outfit can be improved rather than swap out the items.
I always kept the base and swapped layers, shoes and accessories. But a good idea for my next video 👌
Don't like the last one, blue jaaket, black trousers, metalic shoes and black socks.
👍🙋

I don't like this kind of caps (called "Deppenkappen" in German creating a flat back head) nor the pointed shoes destroying artikulations.

A sloppy knitted top with sloppy sleeves can never look stylish and flattering
For me styling is not adding a coat or any outer layer. It does not make sense.
The coat is just an extra layer, the concept works perfectly without it just with shoes and accessories.
