And this is the reason why I bought H0 Kato Unitrack . The packaging is so good in that when you finish running trains . It can go back into it respective blister packs . Kato have just released a flat extra large radius curve to use as a lead in to the superelevated curved track R1606 & R1546 . 8 packs of R1606 will give you a loop of over 3 meters . When I purchase curved Unitrack , I always get enough to do a circle . Plus your right, There is very little on YT about H0 Unitrack . Thank's for the video .
Love Kato. I have really developed a liking for the concrete ties look. Probably going to convert all my track to it in the future. Great video as always !🙂
Wow this layout is coming along so well I wish I had as much as you. After seeing this, I definitely think my next HO investment will be towards the unitrack and super elevated Curves. Thanks for making this video so I could see how they worked!
The elevated track and the Amtrak train going at fast speeds reminds me of the Michigan line and the northeast corridor which has train speeds going up to almost 100 mph!
In my area Amtrak has an engine upfront with another engine at the rear so when it pulls into the station the engineers can than just jump into the front engine and leave again. Its done this way because the area does not allow for the train to turn around☺
These superelevated sections are available with superelevated roadbeds or superelevated tracks (2-251 - 2-252) I cannot find any information on the difference between them. Which version is this?
2-252 easement track is transition from super elevated to flat when connecting to straight flat track. 2-251 is normal super elevated track entire length.
Hi Crafty Fox, I wanted to ask if you could build the Giruno, Astoro, Glacier Express, Bernina Express,IV/ Eurocity, ICN, IR-Dosto, Mouette, and the Domino from the SBB and if you could do a tutorial. Thank you for all.
Your scaletrains CSX units have not been too keen on their ditch lights working. That sucks that they are so detailed yet they have that one flaw that can drive someone insane
I'm gonna have to switch sooner than expected. Also, thanks for making me aware of those DODX cars. Question though: how reliable are they? And do they hold shape after repeated use? My Bachmann EZ track is getting ready to be replaced, and cant hold shape for anything.
Kato specifically designed their track for repeatedly to be "loose-lay" systems, Japoanese homes do not have the space for permanent layouts, even the packaging is designed for durable opening and closing for storage, you will not have the problems which affect other systems such as connectors which lose grip and electrical contact.

I didn't even know this was an option for HO-Scale Unitrack!
Thanks for sharing
That track is very cool, like your collection of locos and rolling stock 👍😎
I love your model train videos and your Minecraft train videos

Fantastic video
Hi there, how many pieces do you need for a semicricle and how wide are the loops if you don't mind me asking

The northeast corridor has trains going over 120 including the regional and the acela
@@TheAngrySlavTendy18 they barely reach 100 most of the time
@@schwunkie I'm talking about the NEC areas in places like Massachusetts and Rhode island
@@TheAngrySlavTendy18 im aware of that, it's just not appropriate to generalize the trains going that fast over the entire NEC

Cool!
YES!!! YES!!!
Do you use DCC no sound or just DC? Just curious because I find it harder to run multiple units at once on just an analog DC controller.
1:01 wait there is a way to take those of without cutting them?
I just puncture it with my fingers untill it gives way then I rip it off 😂
@@GBULL_ADV_1982 Same lmao
Lovely peace of track that seems. Would also suggest you get the Bachmann powered railer to help put on trains.
Why get Bachmann when Kato has them too

Nice video! More emd locomotives would look great on your layout!
What brand of autorack do you run?! Looks amazing !
By any chance, do you know how much space is required to fit a basic oval track with a 31 radius track?
Wow amazing

Where/ which online shop do you order your Kato Untrack?

heyyyy, could you make a video on how to set up a small circuit of tracks and power then to run few trains. Like the equipments and controls needed?
nice track

You really outta make a layout with all this stuff
you need Athearn primed for grime stuff lol
🤨🕶️🤏 that cool
Yzy new video!
where can i buy this?
I have discovered that my BLI UP 4014 HO scale model tends to derail when running on this track.
That's interesting to know... By any chance, are you running your train slow when running in that super elevated tracks?
@@sebastianfranco4521 "I've run many times at various speeds, and the first set of drive wheel bogies always has two axles derailing."
How did you get that other Amtrak P42 to go forwards and backwards
you should get the norfolk southern coal cars.
Can you do the kato Amtrak viewliner baggage car
