It’s hard it’s so hard!!
Pause……
Dragons in elden ring used to be "Payphone" easy until Bayle happen 😅
Sannesax was way harder than bayle for me for some reason 😅
2nd hardest boss fromsoft ever made
Placidusax was a decent challenge, tbh.
@@collinhalverson4681if you have scadutree above 10 bayle isn't hard.. yeah Placidusax is the better boss fight imo.. also lore wise>
@@upsideproductions2bayle??. Nahhh, even gaius is harder if you don't use a cheese build
Bayle "YOU WANT DRAGON???? I'LL SHOW YOU, WHAT A DRAGON REALLY IS!!!"
But bayle is not dragon he is a drake lowborn low quality and quite possibly low intellect pseudo dragon
Dragons are a great spectacle in both games but damn they melt like butter with my liongreatbow
@@jagernkk9875 Bayle has long surpassed the dragons. He survived the fight with Placi, he was smart enough to escape and continues to become stronger for revenge, while Placi is simply frozen in time and does nothing.
@@jagernkk9875he is definitely not low intelligence. If he was he wouldn't have the mind to betray placidusax and even if he's a low race dragon he's on placi level
@@jagernkk9875 haha what? He's mentioned as being the oldest ever and beat the literal king of dragons. Nice try little buddy.
CURSE YOU BAYLE
I HEREBY VOW, YOU WILL RUE THIS DAY!
What a great voice actor lol
SOLID OF SCALES YOU MIGHT BE
FOUL DRAGON
I WILL RIDDLE WITH HOLES YOUR ROTTEN HIDE!
I feel like Midir kind of set the standard for all future Fromsoft dragons.
@@overlord1ful I definitely agree bro I was just having a conversation about how he is the reason for other dragons
I mean Darkeater Midir’s moves are somewhat based on the Slumbering Dragon Sinh, whose moves are definitely based on Black Dragon Kalameet. So I would argue it was Kalameet who sort of set the standard…
@@actionturnip395nope, based on means an origin point not a standard, Midir was the best dragon Fromsoft made, that is why he is the standard, basically meaning he improved on those previous designs even if he is based on them.
@@overlord1ful I think Kalameet was the real base that inspired Sinh and Midir then Bayle
@@reasonablekinda2269nope, irrelevant you prick.
The dragons in elden ring is what the dragons in skyrim were supposed to look and act like.. someone please mod them.
I'm just waiting to see the salty skyrim fanboys that are gonna give you 50 reasons why the dragons in skyrim are all better
I like Skyrim but the souls dragon's are the best most lore accurate ones I've ever seen on a videogame. Facts.
@@Dr_Diaz Tbf skyrim isn't meant to be that hard. They do look lame af tho.
@@notmyemail506I don't think they're objectively better but I like them more. They spend almost all of the time airborne which makes sense. You have wings, why would you spend most of the time in the ground where you can be easily hit
Someone needs to do a whole Elden Ring mod for Skyrim tbh
vordt's theme didn't have to go so hard, but man, am I glad it did.
Its Fromsoft.
Fr, I remember vividly the first time I fought Vordt, I had heard this theme but I didn't know who it belonged to, mark me surprised when I got to the second phase of that Frozen Dog looking ah and I happened to be met with this absolute banger
@@matierk637 Fr My first DS3 playthrough I already knew the sound from memes

AND I, IGON, YOUR FEARS MADE FLESH!!!!
SOLID OF SCALE YOU MIGHT BE, FOUL DRAGON!
BUT WILL RIDDLE WITH HOLES YOUR ROTTEN HIDE! WITH A HAIL OF HARPOONS! WITH EVERY LAST DROP OF MY BEING!
Bayle literally just used an incantation to make his wings imagine if he wasn't disabled and if his other leg was also intact 💀
Imagine having an Incantation like that.
A fight against Prime Bayle or Prime Placidusax would be amazing.
@@windrider2190 Better not be lame like the hydras in dank souls 1 lol.
Placidusax didn't have to imagine. And he lost 2 of his 4 heads fighting Bayle for supremacy.
@@CanonRulesSaysGod and bayle escaped because he knows he's gonna lose lol
Bayle is such a hype fight but I loathe whoever thought it would be a good idea to put his head as the only lock-on point lol
@@nils3031 this is so true, my dragonslayer arrow rain harpoon build would be so much better if i could just target his body, they miss half the time when on his head 😭
Seriously! Every other dragon, or any other giant enemy, we’ve been able to lock onto multiple body parts. Why, of all fights, did Bayle get stuck with one lock on point? Camera probably wouldn’t get so lost in the backrooms if he had a lock on point for his body.
I think Fromsoft want to encourage people to use less target lock. Ideally we switch back and forth situationally.
@@ETBrooD hmmm I feel like the fight was just designed to be tackled this way: you stay in front of Bayle and hit the head. It's just too perfect to not be the case. He even chases you every time you go under him.
It'd be weird if you had to manage the camera with a joystick midfight haha
The keyboard and mouse gang would be delighted however 0_0
Yeah this is my only real complaint with bayle midir is still my favorite for this reason
Bayle is the closest thing we can experience monster hunter-like fight in elden ring and i'm happy for it
Everyone seems to forget the other moves Midir threw out... fire that turned into laser, darkness exploding from his body that chased you and he also could fly.
@@Alex-K94 on god midir is the best dragon boss from soft has made so far
Its a shame he has like one move where he actually flies.
People also forget that we de-wing Midir prior to fighting him.
The flight move is the same that every dragon in elden ring does but he was the standard for all of those basic dragons to be fair. He was easily best dragon until placi and bayle tho
No one "forgot" his badass laser attack. Everyone compared it shin Godzilla when it came out
Midir: Rock em sock em fighter the size of a mountain.
Bayle: A fighter jet with a nuke.
It feels like fighting with an animal vs fighting a god.
@@MrLuisabeart 2nd phase exists?
More like a very angry dragon
Dragons in Dark Souls: giant lizards that can fly and have bad breath
Bayle: Giant lizard that can fly, has bad breath, and has 4 nuke fatalities
When you haven't played ds3, otherwise you could have known Midir has nuke attacks
@@bikashit I played ds3 and found it kind of forgettable compared to elden ring haha.
@@soyborne.bornmadeandundone1342elden ring newcomer most definitely, your opinion doesn’t really matter tbh
Midir has a nuke laser
@@DreyfusLagoondude, the only memorable dragons from ds are midir and sinh, even kalameeth is easy to forget, if not for the hawk's shot.
In elden, most of the drakes of each area are well remembered, even if they're easy or annoying like fog or ekzykes.
Just 10 times better to fight random drake #8 than the wyverns of ds
Edit: forgot, there are other 2 memorable dragons in ds1, the two dragons who ate kebab (one after the lightning lil drakes and the other before priscilla)
"BEHOLD, A TRUE DRAKE WARRIOR! AND I, IGON! YOUR FEAR MADE FLESH!"
both are absolute cinema
Bayle has an excellent design, but waaaaay faster than all other Elden Ring dragons.
You don’t expect something that big and missing a wingarm and a leg to just move across the arena in a second xD
@@windrider2190 It's because he's evil!
Bayle has that Elden Ring disco slide harder than any boss in the series. Only the Bloodletting beast comes even close
Midir walked so Bayle could run
You mean fly through the air and drop flaming turds on our heads lol. Igon was right. F that dragon and its flaming doo doo!
Wing already yet leg@@JoseViktor4099
Midir certainly did not walk but I get the sentiment
Midir is still lowkey better though

Me during Dark Souls 3 "CURSE YOU MIDIR!!!"
Midir is still the strongest dragon I've fought to this day😤🐉
Bayle forgot what the word friendly means💀😭
CURSE YOU BAYLE!!!!
Bayle is one of those bosses that I can't even be mad at losing to because he just looks so damn cool to battle again and again. Hell, Igon's dialogues alone are enough to keep me coming back for more.
Same bro, my jaw dropped when I saw that second phase transition. And it stayed dropped until he finished his death-from-above atomic breath. After that I just laughed. Igon made it so much better too xD
@@windrider2190 That 2nd phase pop is one of the coolest I've seen in all the games - made even better by the fact that it doesn't even need a cutscene. When you back up and watch to witness the transition in its full glory, I just wanna snap a pic and turn it into a wallpaper. I'm sure someone already has. It's that good.
Midir and Bayle, the two greatest dragon bossfights in fromsoft history
With Placidusax
@@broly7784no he is so mid. His attacks are underwhelming and don't compare to these fights. A fight doesn't have to be hard to be good, but placidusax is neither he's boring and he's not hard to fight. A genuine good dragon fight is Kalameet
@@broly7784 placidusax is very easy boss
@@loganatkinson7417Agreed. They should have made Placi and Bayle their prime versions and changed the lore accordingly.
I beat him with the thorns spell and I have no regrets.

@@notveryartificial4486 ,very true. I fought him a few times to see what he could do, and it was insane.

That's just not true
skill issue
Bro, don't say that,the only boss I didn't beat in DS3 was Midir🥲
Midir is way harder due to how much help we have with all the equipment in elden ring
Nobody ever:
Elden ring: CURSE YOU BAYLE!!!!!!!
Midir's my favorite for gameplay, for visuals Placidusax, Sekiro's Divine Dragon and recently Bayle
CUUUURSE YOUUUUUU BAAAAYLEEE🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Fun fact,Bayle is a drake(2 legged) unlike dragons (4 legged) so they chose worst comparison xD
Drake, dragon, wyvern, they’re all the same thing and you fight them all the exact same way
@@SuPeRfRoG99Gthey're not the same thing, drakes are descendants of bayle exclusively. Just cuz a bird and a bat both fly don't mean they the same animal
Bayle doesn't have two legs though
I feel the pain that this guy felt 😢❤
While fighting Bayle i noticed one of Placi's head chomped down on the side. I screamed "LORE CONNECTION!!!!"
Badass lore too lol
Dragon in Sekiro:chill bro😊
never forget Sekiro's dragon
Boss to relax/chill to
Other than Malenia, Bayle has the most awesome second phase transition of any from boss.
Oooooo this fight looks fun! I'm practically spilling outta my skin to get into the dlc. It's been a long time since I've been hype about a game!
Midir is the Goat of all dragons. He makes dragons in Elden Ring look like flying cats.
to be fair, that spot to stand against Midir trivialises him.
“Midir sitting as one of the hardest dragon boss fights in souls games”
Bayle: “hold my beer”
Bayle is hard until you beat him because the only way to beat is to nearly perfect the dodge timing🫡
(continue the dialoge)
-CURSE YOU, BAYLE!!
midir looks like a pet compared to bayle
BAYLE’S FLAME LIGHTNING
Bayle boss fight was a whole movie. The sound he makes when he does the double breath attack like goddamn!!!
Bayle hands down is the most sickest dragon fromsoft.. i mean lil bro even made a diss track while the fight is ongoing
Meanwhile fighting Dragons in Skyrim:
"How many times do we have to teach you this lessson old man" ~ Dovakhiin
Finally, a good depiction lol
Now we need an igon for midir
Bayle is literally darkeater midir reincarnated into another dragon, they’re basically like the same type of a boss where they’re the hardest until you learn there attacks
“Tom cruise plays elden ring”
Bayle got me feeling truly threatened again...
Bayle was perfect boss
Bayle is such a gentleman, ducking it nice and low so you can hit him in the good ol' head unlike every other single dragon in the whole franchise that basically forces you into the "get em in the feet fetish" kinda play style lol.
Meanwhile the 1 in Sekiro just grasps your attention like a moving beautiful painting
they put all their effort to making dragons the hardest i swear
Bayle remind me a lot of Midir they both amazing fight
Ah, the Frayed Blade, I miss you.
What really gets me is both the bayle fight and the placy fight take place after each is permanently disfigured and injured. Imagine if in like ng+ you fought them in their prime.
Nice to see the lock on works for flying things in Elden ring
Midir going shin Godzilla is goated.
“CURSEEEEE YOU BAYLEEEEEEE”
The dragons usually shoot fire or something out of their mouth so I stand behind them and hit them it’s pretty easy
Bayle is a menace giving us a harder time then plasidusax when he is missing a leg and his real wings
The coolest part about the bail fight when he throws those fireballs at you just walking backwards and a circular motion will avoid them.
Midir was ready to throw hands with your ass the second you appeared in the ringed city.
CURSE YOU BAYLE
No one tries to kill the dragonlord except myself
"Man, this is difficult."
"Man, this is DIFFICULT!"
Credits to Godrickthegolden
the ashen one is dodging both dragon’s attacks and voices in his head at the same time, smart
the aggressive fast button pushing noises are so aggravating ngl
Dragons in Elden Rings = the climax to Bayle.
Midyr was remembered for his fight.
Bayle was remembered for his quest line.
I don't hear no one cursing midyr with every breath.
Who is this guy, he’s locked in 😂
Dragon in elden ring:🤡 this Dragon in elden ring:🗿💀
To be fair to Midir, in the encounter with him on the bridge where he falls his wings get destroyed.
If you look at the wings during the bridge fight and then again during the boss fight you'll notice they have become tattered and filled with holes.
So he couldn't achieve that level of flight during the boss fight.
Random side note: Midir is blind, he is not tracking the player through sight but he can sense the dark in the player.
Just wait until someone makes a "Prime Bayle" mod
I love how both games got boss music of dark soul
CURSSSSEEEEE YOOOUUUUU BAYLEEEEEE!!!!! 👹👹👹👹
Bayle one of the few dlc fights i didnt struggle with😭
I was watching someone play DS1 last night. The DLC dragon there - said to be one of the hardest bosses in DS1 - was like child's play in comparison to these. Don't get me wrong though; it still looks really cool, especially its grab attack.
Bayle: Everyone keeps talking until I come, and everyone gets silent 💀
I was expecting the dude singing a song while playing a game...😂
Dark souls III: Midir is a rather proportionate and proper sized dragon.
Elden Ring: We have THICC BAYLE!!!!!
Haven't got to Bayblade but I loved learning the Midir fight back in DS3
I've played DS1, DS3, and Elden Ring. All the dragons are equally hard (except Bayle, I would be fucked without Igon)
Nice that was a smooth dodge of his phase 2 opener
I love the fact that the music for this style of video also originates from DS3 (it’s vordt’s theme)
Bayle is a love hate relationship that goes on for 10yrs with talks of marriage 😂
I love both of these sky dogs so much
Bayle: A dragon you might be, but not a super one!
Midir: Oh yeah? What's the difference ?
Bayle: *enters phase 2* PRESENTATION
2 different engines yet are still both very impressive
"curse you bayle!"
Midir on another level
Bro, Bayle reignited in me why I love Elden ring. The start of his second faze was like a wake-up call.
So glad Bayle brought back the dark souls kind of dragon
I killed Bayle under 1 minute. took me dying dozens of times though
He used one of the like 3 good dragon fights in ER as an example
