Thank you for posting this excellent tutorial. You saved my day. The 2023 Kia Soul is basically exactly the same except the gear shifter cover is different and I wasn’t able to remove it. But no matter I had just enough room to lift the center console up in order to recover something I had lost inside. This rental vehicle had a hole in its storage box (missing panel) and my keys fell right into this hole. Without this, I would never have figured out how to take this center console apart.

Great video! Have a 2015 Soul as well and I was wondering if you would be able to access the downstream O2 sensor connector to change it out after removing the console? I've seen another video where they remove the trim on the right front passenger seat and have to cut part of the carpet to access the plug which is closer to the console side and was hoping to avoid cutting the carpet. Thank you!
2013 with standard transmission everything else is the same except the screws under the shifter base cover it feels like the back is anchored down but can't see inside obviously
I have a 2013 soul it has a small panel where it look like an ash tray could be. I was wondering could a USB outlet be installed and if possible would you happen to advise now how to go about doing it?..
Do you know if the piece facing to back seats can be removed without the whole console? Im trying to install a 12v aux, but my car is a 2022 and has more connectors, i read you are in south gate, im in bell if you have a chance can you give me some help?
Check out my other video " kia soul armrest replacement " technically you can remove it by pulling it but you will brake the 2 tabs that hold it each tab has a screw in it. The cover will still work 100% because it also have some push tabs on the sides that will hold it together. I broke mine and know I can remove the cover anytime I want

No the part that opens and closes. I have a kia soul center console that won't close because the clip latch broke off and I bought a new part to replace it so it will clip to close it ?

@daver4795 no there's a small plastic cover inside the center armrest you remove it and it gives you access to adjust
