I was searching for a video on auto detailing and I decided to watch yours. I have to say I am impressed on the outcome of the vehicle and explanation.. I was trying to keep up with the products you were using , but it was a little tough to keep up with the lettering and time it was displayed.., but other than that I liked the video and subscribed thanks 👍👍👍
Great video Chelsea. I love that format. Learned a lot. Thanks for being a great teacher. Video not too long at all. Please keep up the great work and good luck.
Chelsea...please keep up these kinds of vids. Also...try flipping the carpeted mat on its back & drill brushing the back. It’s the way i get sand out. Very effective. Note: use the flat drill brush not the toilet-bowl kind.
Yes, the mallet is exactly what I use for carpets too. We used to clean the rugs and carpets at my grandfather's house by hitting them and that trick was extremely effective to clean them.👌👍 Not many use that old technique and go straight to extraction most of the times.🤷🏾♂️ Love this format too👌👍
Great video! Attention car makers STOP LINING CARS WITH IMPOSSIBLE CARPETS! Consumers should demand plie carpets they used to put in cars and thicker clear coat protection!
Awesome job! I'm not a professional detailer, but I am doing a friend's white Mazda3 this weekend. I don't have all of the products you use by any stretch, but I'll definitely be incorporating all I can from this video with the tools/products I do have. Love these teaching videos, Chelsea! I always learn something practical!
A quick question, Chelsea. I've noticed in the little bit of detailing I've done that I spend quite a bit of my time (especially on interiors) either stopping to wipe sweat from my face or clean up sweat marks on parts of the car I've already cleaned. I work outside, and it's hot and humid here in Tennessee. Probably nothing I can do about it, but do you have any tips/tricks you've learned over the years that might help expedite things a bit?
Great job yet again Chelsea keep up your good work!!!! Quick question have you tried bilt hamber products from here in the UK?? The auto wash snow foam is brilliant and I've tried loads of other competitors but I've heard their products are quite expensive in the states which puts some people off it. Take care
Hi Chelsea. Thanks for your nice video. I also had to think about why you applied the spraying wax but I understood it when you started drying 😜 I actually started laughing when I saw "like" on the roof 😂😂😂 A question: What kind of chair so you have? It looked super nice with big wheels. My has small wheels and and with tiles on my garage floor I almost tip often 🤔 Regards Terje from Norway.
Sorry for all the questions, but I keep coming back to this video periodically to remind myself of a few things, and to see if there's anything I missed. Always trying to learn. I noticed you used Dark Fury and Pink Perfection on this detail. I think you mentioned in another video that you had moved away from those products and now used ADG F-bomb for those roles, because Dark Fury sometimes caused staining and F-bomb cleaned better than PP. Have you gone back to those products, or were just using them since you had them? Thanks for all you do to help us out, Chelsea!
I’ve moved back to dark fury- the trick is to never use it on a dry panel or in direct sunlight and don’t let it sit too long. Prewet it and mist it on evenly and rinse quickly and you’re fine
Nicely done Chelsea!! I'm not a professional detailer either, but I apply these tips and how to's To my own vehicles and .... if I'm lucky apply them to earning some side hustle money detailing my friends cars and or casual acquaintances. I like the format!!
Chelsea wow Amazing Video i m just estimating a job like this is no less than 200 bucks due to all the chemicals n equipment u use. Love ur videos i only do my co vehicle and close fam cars like my sis...daug...nephew...n my own kia soul...u are a inspiration
Another tip I can give that I like to do especially when using chemicals that can damage window tint is to take the headrests off and clean them separately to avoid overspray on the glass. This also allows you to clean the headrest & spot below it more thoroughly as well.
Great video! I enjoyed this style 👌. All the products looked great and did a fantastic job. I use Meguiars Non Acid Wheel Cleaner as well and really enjoy it.
Ive been using it more recently but I think Mckees 37 wheel cleaner cleans better but the Meguiars is cheaper and dilutable based on situation so for that it wins brownie points with me whereas Mckees 37 wheel cleaner is rtu and sometimes crystallizes in the bottle and eats up sprayers. Meguiars doesnt do that.
Omg. That thing was hammered. Oh my. Did anything you sprayed on the paint, prior to polishing, get stuck in your pads? I like the hammer idea on the floor mats. I still hate doing interiors. I got a backache just watching you. Lol. Great video.

@@attention2detailswchelsea Thank you. I’m looking to buy a new polisher. I currently have a 20mm long throw from harbor freight. Would you go G9 or G15? I know the 15 will cut faster but I was leaning towards G9 since I don’t have a short throw
@@attention2detailswchelsea I ask because I’m a novice to the detail situation and most other channels emphasize on the panels needing to be stripped of everything before polishing
If you top with their sio2 spray wax they claim 8-12 months durability. I'd say safely 4-6 months but haven't tested that yet. Might make an interesting test...
It’s a very strong degreaser and should be used only at proper dilution ratios on the exterior. This isn’t a product I recommend for interiors at all. Dilute 5:1 and prewet first with water to prevent staining paint
I use it more just as lubrication while drying plus it doesnt streak. The slickness and gloss were an added bonus and worth noting for those that arent needing to polish.
@@attention2detailswchelsea hmm if it works for you.. I think it’s a an extra step your going to ipa after the polish rt to lay down what ever coating ?
@@cbruno12180 not in this case. I used a ceramic infused polish and just went straight to my ceramic sealant as this wasnt a coating. No ipa wipe needed
Hi Chelsea, " I love touching this paint " made me laugh, thank you, its been one of those'no smile days' but I know what you mean, its what we do, similar to wait for it to rain then run outside, get wet & watch the beading & the neighbours curtains twitch, they know your mad. I have a question : why would you apply Formula 4 Spray Wax if your about to polish over it (remove it) It is a shame, we cant get one of the products you used over here on the other side of the pond :-( p.s. loving your work, hopefully you will encourage more ladies to grab a sponge & chastise their other halves for touching the car once youve cleaned it. ..
Because it makes drying it easier. Before it was flat. After the formula 4 spray wax I can blow water out better because it now beads and then finish up with kinetic for extra lubrication. Most can stop there and thats why I mentioned that if theres no staining or need to polish you can stop there. I had to polish to remove staining however.
Question about your process....why bother spraying the vehicle down with a polymer-based detailing spray/clay lube after you had dried it...and prior to using an SIO2 infused one step like McKees 360.....which, if it's like the original McKees 360, has come cut to it. My sense is that the abrasives would get rid of the remnants of the TD Kinetic once you hit the surface with the polishing pad
Why a pressure washer is better than a hose? Easy, you can write the Like and Subscribe on vehicles that have so much grime like this one madame Chelsea 😉😄🤣
And I love it. Although I am upgrading it soon. Ive had it 3 years and am ready for a hot water extractor. But its met a HUGE need and allowed me to save for a more pro grade extractor
