Prog at the Priory is back! Former Genesis guitarist Steve Hackett will be the special guest of internationally-renowned composer organist and pianist Marco Lo Muscio and flautist John Hackett, performing music from the classic to the progressive rock.
A unique mix of solo, duet and trio performances the show will feature classic works by King Crimson, ELP, Rick Wakeman and of course Genesis, along with solo works by Marco, John and Steve who will join John and Marco on acoustic guitar.
Marco is an internationally-renowned organist and pianist who has played over 800 concerts in major cathedrals and at festivals around the world: from Notre Dame in Paris to Westminster Abbey in London, from King's College in Cambridge (the only Italian to have been invited three times) to Merton College in Oxford, from the St. Petersburg Philharmonic to St. Thomas Church on Fifth Avenue in New York, from Milan Cathedral up to the royal chapel of San Giorgio of Windsor Castle ang collaborating with John and Steve Hackett in many albums including Playing The History featuring interpretations of prog rock classics.
John Hackett has played with ensembles such as The English Flute Quartet and the Westminster Camerata, has guested on numerous albums including The Geese and the Ghost by original Genesis guitarist Anthony Phillips, and appeared on albums and toured with his brother Steve.
Steve Hackett of course needs no introduction as the former Genesis guitarist who between 1971 and 1977 appeared on their classic albums such as Foxtrot, Selling England by the Pound and The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway. He has recently toured his Genesis Revisited shows extensively to worldwide audiences.
This is a one-off show in an iconic building that is definitely not to be missed!

Quando a 50 anni scopri la passione per la musica , il pianoforte e le dolci armonie e sulla tua strada incontri il Maestro Marco Lo Muscio. A 18 anni ascoltai per la prima volta "Horizon" e ne rimasi affascinato. Oggi a distanza di anni la ascolto con l'entusiasmo di un tempo arrangiata e suonata dal Maestro. Grazie Marco
