- tool needed are: electric cutter, hammer, torque wrench that could rearch 80n.m, heat gun, round wrench that could use for diameter of 64mm,
a pipe that could use as the sleeve to hammer the lower bearing in
There are two ways to disassemble the front section, the video shows the method of cutting if off since it is about a upgrade with replacement, and this is relatively easier to operate if you know how to use the cutter
First use the cutter to cut it from the stainless steel parts carefully all sides, and hammer the top off once it is about all cutting off.
Second hammer the original section out of the postion.
Third assemble the new section back into the head tube, you have to clear the grease, re grease the bearing, assemble the bearing dust cover (one under the lower bearing, one on the top of the top bearing)
apply the locktite(red one) into the thread, lock the folding support with 80n.m at least, or just goes harder if you not have torque wrench.
Please note without the proper locking force, it will result the risk of the failure from the time. you do not really need the torque wrench, you could go as hard as you could, and in the meantime make sure the handle bar is not too stiff
Mobil xhp 222 with blue color is a good grease to use for the bearing

The other way to do it will be use a heat gun to heat the whole section up with the area where the locktite applied, and use the wrench to unscrew the front section off.
Why is the installation and the cutting, the installation and the parts, because you have things that are attached to a lot of weakness in the mechanism
So I had to replace.these bearings last year on mine. And it wasn't the bearing that failed upon inspection. It was the end caps that started shredding and getting into the bearing.

Hello michael shaw im from indonesia I'm having problems on my Scoter Nami, I am experiencing problems with the battery voltage indicator in the lcd namy not normal,
However, when I checked directly on the charger port, it showed it was normal voltage, only once did error code 301 appear after I removed the battery socket, how do i fix, Do I have to buy a new front controller, but my nami scooter can still be used well and can still run but the battery indicator is not normal, please help me michael sha

i have a burn e-2 I received 4/2022, how do I purchase the replacement parts?
So, once We upgrade to the steel swing arm, only the folding support needs to be tightened? usually there is a nut that needs to be tightened before the folding support, can you confirm? Thanks!
only one with the new design
My last year burn e-2(32a) has 2 lock rings. Bearings lasted 10 months then started notching. Ordered new old bearings and new burn e-2(40a) which has 1 lock ring. Does the new one have new or old bearings? New one started notching after 2 WEEKS.
please try to lose the tension a little for the notching

@@michaelsha2781 hi Michael I'm in UK and brought burn e 28 ah and it's got that aluminium stem that's not the safest so I'd like to change it to the steel one I've contacted my dealer and there willing to do the work but have to pay for it to be picked up and dropped off by to me after I'm charged for labour?
