Some use packing tape....blue tape and even clear shelf liners. Another benefit of this is you aren't getting spray adhesive on the wood. Additionally, the tape actually provides lubrication to the blade as it is a petroleum based product. Try printing with red ink rather than black. Even with the outline, the black ink can sometimes make it hard to see where you are cutting. The red allows you to still see your cut lines. I also suggest getting good with Spirals. It will allow you to do larger pieces. I also recommend creating a larger bed to place on top of your existing bed. It will provide support for your larger pieces. Happy scrolling!
