The Georgian government doesn't have very strong separation of powers, or a general balance of powers. The church forms a strong counter-weight to the government, even if it's sometimes wrong, the provide a balance of institutions in the country. Overall the strong church, I think, is a net positive for Georgia.

I am originally from Georgia, and I must admit Georgians are being just ridicuously naive and short-sighted, with typical parochial views about "European progress", in which the real progressive elite of the US and Europe stopped believing a long time ago. But in Georgia time is still some 40-50 years late, so they think their only way to be independent from Russia is to become dependent on the West -- again, a typically "teenager" concept of freedom, which consists in freely choosing who you want to depend on, in order to have someone to blame eventually, should aything go wrong and take credit for the rest.)
As far as Russia is concerned: not only it is Russia that build all infrastructure and made Georgia aн industrial, modern , successful country from the rural backwoods it used to be, but Russia also saved Georgians and their land from total and definitive annihilation by the Turks in the 18th century, after Erekle the IInd asked himself Russia to send in their troops! And finally, the little priest, "philosophizing" about any existing ties with Russia in Georgian history, somehow forgets that it is the largest Orthodox pillar in the modern world... Not to say more, the Georgian identity crisis suffers from severe schizophrenia, and if people don't finally come to thir senses in the nearest future, they will not have any future at all as an independent country -- simply because they do not have a truly independent position in anything whatsoever: their national identity is being built solely on the negation of all things Russian. But building on negation alone will never end with any positive value...Alas.

      1. John 3:16 is writen in greek we have the orignal manuscript [just to add this in later]
      2. If you don't understand the verse and cherry-pick it out of context without even understanding why this is said.
      3. When Jesus says Whoever believes in me Shall not perish but have eternal life. Meaning lets go to John 14:15-31 "“If you love me, you will OBEY MY COMMANDMENTS. I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper [The Holy Spirit], who will stay with you forever.
      4. What does that mean OBEY HIS COMMAND where does it say that people who are living in the act of homosexuality will burn in hellfire if they do not stop with the act easy and simple we use the same book where we have the orignal manuscript that are very LIKE VERY detailed if you want the orignal manuscript with a person that can read Koine Greek [i am right here and also have historians that can confirm.
      5. Back to 4. We will use OT and NT [] Genesis 19:1-11, Leviticus 18:22, Leviticus 20:13, Judges 19:16-24, 1 Kings 14:24 now NT Romans 1:18-32, 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, 1 Timothy 1:8-10 and Jude 7 but we have many more if you say the OT is mistranslated we also have the Dead Sea Scrolls that Confirm these are real and exact copy of the Torah [OT] we have today.
      Next time do not cherry-pick.
