After 70 years of communist oppression, it turned into a driving force to achieve independence and rebuild the country. Today, its position is threatened by the country’s pro-European liberal youth.

I love Georgia the country of Georgia and the people , the language and culture I think Georgia should join the EU and we shouldn't based countries if they are liberal thinking or conservative but if the country is economically stable and democratic
The EU is not just about buying and selling Potatoes. It's about LGBT, Migrants, Integration, Currency and Central government. That is why the UK left. The EU is a NWO program.
I agree with you. Poland also like Georgia never be liberal. After the 70 years of communist oppression of faith and free thinking. But it can be democratic and progressive and give people freedom of thinking and freedom of choosing their faith or belief systems or way of living. This is important in democratic and progressive society and political system. Tradition and history of all members that make them unique is beneficial for EU not federalism and one standard for all that is to close to communism and fascism.
The EU exists as a international government organization to consolidate the resources of nations under a central bank which will dictate monetary policy to each member states' privately owned central bank and to control industrial society through inflation and deflation.
There is nothing beneficial to the common man found in THE EU. It's just another banker oligarchy.

As someone from the mirabolous west everybody looks forward to, who’s planning to move to Georgia exactly for the strong role of religion in society…don’t ever lose your traditions and faith, please. I can assure you that liberalism and its secularizing component in particular is one of the saddest tragedies that struck western countries, enabling a society where only people without morals (drug addicts, clubbers, sex maniacs, rainbow mafia etc.) can make it and be influential. For us people with values it’s becoming day by day harsher, and institutions don’t even hide it anymore that they want to completely erase faith’s influence on people, as the eu actively promotes liberal policies putting pressure on people’s most instinctive and wild tendencies, like the ones I listed before. Please even reconsider entering in the eu for this and other reasons, for example the fact that it’s a highly centralized institution which, if you don’t abide by its rules, will wage a hybrid war on your country, especially from an economic point of view (the infamous Greece example speaks for itself). As time passes by you’ll realize more and more it’s no different from the former soviet union, just using liberalism this time as the trojan horse to mold a soulless and materalistic society. The spiritual path I’ve undertook as a response to this degeneracy of the west ultimately made me approach Orthodox Christianity and the country of Georgia in particular, where astonishing landscapes of godlike beauty were gifted to a pious population that, although has suffered so much through history, has always risen from the ashes stronger than before. God willing I’ll integrate into the beautiful nation of Sakartvelo and live a life of prayer among Cartvelebi ☦️🫀🇬🇪.

I am sad to hear that youth in Georgia are so liberal also. But i think EU would not demand Georgia to change orthodox christianity to something else. I am finnish orthodox and we have native finnish orthodox church as minority church and we have been part of EU for some years.

That's disappointing. Christianity has incredible potential if lead by its compassionate roots. Are most of the Orthodox church so much of a sellout, that they are all violent? Are there a group of more left-leaning Christians? Also, how young are these people?
In the meantime, Georgia can stay away from the EU. There is no room for religious zealots.
