thanks schizug, this is really useful. ive never played a moba before deadlock and your guides are helping me a lot. itd probably be good to talk about late game at this point since youve covered laning and mid game already.
Note on the slot machines (sinner's sacrifice): you want to heavy melee them. They let out different amounts of souls based on if you regular or heavy melee, so by only using heavy, you get all the souls but end up taking less damage
Probably the best farming guide I've seen so far. Not being a MOBA player, farming is what I've really been struggling with. Can't wait to get back in after work! 🎉
Great guide! I would add a mention that Shiv is a great candidate to farm camps, as he stacks his rage with them very quick and his 2 skill lowers CD very quick on camps, even more when his rage is full.
This is actually a really helpful video for macro strategy stuff that I don't know at all from having not played Dota. I often find myself underfarmed and wondering what I could've done differently and I rarely do neutral creeps so this is great advice.
it's worth noting that spending too much time farming neutrals will make you miss out on lane creeps which are much more valuable, so be sure to only really be getting neutrals if you're not giving up a wave of lane creeps to do so
A great overview on sources of income in the game and how to create a pathing route during your games depending on the current context of the map. Really enjoyed the minimap states and showing the decision making in the Infernus example.
15:45 I generally agree with your take here. The only thing I would annotate is that depending on what item infernus was looking to buy or his current soul count. he had a nice path to do the camps, clear the creep wave and then hit the shop right next to him.
Out of all of the guides this was the most useful one I’ve seen so far as it answered a lot of questions I had when playing the game. Will definitely Be subbing and looking forward to future guides
8:50 Shiv is another hero that can clear camps extremely quickly. Once his Slice and Dice and rage are maxed out, then hitting two creeps with Slice and Dice will immediately reset it's cooldown, allowing you to use it again. He can clear the 3x tier 3 camps in a couple seconds this way.
Thanks for making this concise breakdown of what a good lane rotation looks like. I will definitely show my friends your examples because I really suck at explaining the nuances of this game.
would be cool to see an example of farm routes taken by good players at different stages of the game similar to the example shown in the first video, definitely helped illustrate the points you were making
you can come up with it on your own if you just think of how the wave location relates to the nearest camps. Waves with no one there to collect them are higher priority, after you clear a wave there will be some down time to go farm a camp then come back for the next one. When you push in to a tower, the wave will bounce back and you will have a ton of time to collect camps as you move back towards your base. Don't throw the game by ignoring objectives while on your quest for money, but also don't throw by fighting over nothing instead of just maximizing your income.
@@touff333Healing Rite, Restorative Shot, Spirit/Bullet Lifesteal, Extra Regen, and Health Nova are all relatively cheap items that can help you sustain or burst heal. If you’re getting hit a lot, fall back and focus on denial, and grab one of the healing items.

@@deemo665 Yes the triangle will disappear if the camp is gone and appear if it has spawned.
When an enemy takes a camp, would that reflect on the map immediately or do we need to see the camp to know it has been taken (Like in Dota)?

Sliding gives you infinite ammo, so sliding down the stairs effectively increases your magazine size reducing the TTK of the camp

Last hits and denies are def a skill check on the aim and positioning front. Watch your replay back and see if it was one of the two components!

A bunch of console commands. To load that map: map street_test

I thought all the boxes and jars and other breakable objects on the map dropped buffs and souls equally.
When sharing a lane with someone, are the minion souls split between the two players
In the first minutes, both get all the souls (the souls from 1 creep get doubled basically). After some time, they get shared 50/50
