    I use Liqui moly in all our vehicles (2022 Volvo V60, 2011 Volvo XC70, 2018 VW Beetle and 2018 VW Tiguan) and it has made a huge difference. Especially the mos2 on the old 2011 reduces oil consumption!

    I use the Liquimoly 5W/40 Molygen in my Renault Clio RS. You can feel a difference even on the bum dyno in how well the car goes with that oil over other brands. I just tried this product in my heavily modified Abarth with the factory 10W/50 Selenia oil. The engine has much better off idle and off boost take up and response. Its incredible.

    Over here in the UK. Molyslip was the make in the UK. Around since 1950s using a leading compound called Molybdenum disulfide. This was added to vehicle engines, mixing with the engine oil and helping to stop the wear within. 'Molyslip' was put into a British Ford Anglia 105E and driven, to lubricate all surfaces within. Then the oil was drained from the sump to simulate a oil pump failure. The car ran for some miles before the seizure happened. This proved the advantages of the slip of MOLYSLIP product.
    Molyslip is still a make and still distributes ( now all kinds of additives) and it was originally British. But like all products there will always be those whom will market their own brand & Moly is one of them.
    But whoever makes it , I have used Molyslip for 45 years in all my vehicle engines, rear axles & some manual gearboxes. My vehicles have high mileage 150 - 200,000 miles and could go longer. I use Redex in my fuel too.

    Used this for years, not a single failure, use in a 550rwhp sr20, and a friend in his drift car, the drift car made countless seasons on 20psi of boost all day long and in the end the head cracked and the bearings still looked new!

    The stuff works it saved my engine when I lost oil pressure!! The stuff must be given time to plate the surface imperfections of the engine components to work properly tho so say 300km or 400km

    I have a pretty noticable piston knock on my KIA engine, after adding this product, the noise reduced by like 60% and pump up the engine performance a little

    Unfortunately is in Spanish but is a Argentinian video from the 60s, old black and white tv, they rode a Jeep without oil pan for miles, only with the residual lubrication of MoS2.

    Used to be able to buy a 8oz can of Molyslip for $2. It would treat 6us quarts of oil.

      Mos2 was created to prevent piston aircraft from seizing if they were to ever lose oil pressure

      This stuff works. It is one of the few additives that do work. It is not so much Liqui Moly but the molybdenum disufide.

      Abdassalam Algiriani should be on viscosity level but I'd find out if liquid Molly 5:40 motor oil already has it in it or not

    if i am using AMSOIL fully sinthetic signeture series 5w30 oil for my diesel car, then adding MOS2 beneficial to me or only waste of money,..actually i read a blog by AMSOIL , where they mentioned that adding mos2 is useless with amsoil superior oil and reflect negative results as the mos2 ruined/ adverse effact on amsoil oil , the amsoil already had antifriction and adding additive like mos2 may disturbed its property and resulted in bad experiance, what is your answer in this blog/ issue?????? please guide me

      Good day, The Liqui Moly MoS2 additive is a brilliant oil additive that not only offers great engine protection but effectively reduce friction. However, adding it to engine oil that already has a friction modifier can result in an overkill of solid lubricants, which may result in resistance. When applied correctly MoS2 is a top class oil additive that reduces engine friction and offer maximum protection.

    Will this make the oil thicker or thiner ? Or will stay the same viscosity ? Honda recomends hp4m oil that has moly in it,since i dont have yhat oil i want to use this additive

      It won't affect viscosity it's only a small part of the total oil.

    Hi, Thank you for sharing. MOS2 remarkable along who ever buildt te engine. What was the engine Base oil used with the MOS2 additive? e.g. LM Touring Hi Tech 20w50 or the LM 10w60 Race oil?

      Hi Nico, the video was not done locally, therefore, we are not sure on the oil specifics, it's possible they have been using 10W60 Synthoil Race Tech GT1.

I have a 2zzge engine 192hp NA corolla Tsport the engine works on 8.400rpm and I want the best protection and the best oil pressure I use only 5w40 oil and I want to try the 5w40 molygen...the question is, is better the high tech leichtlauf with mos2 additive or ceratec???

    Bought the MoS2 Anti-Friction Engine Treatment 3/30/2021, poured it in the crankcase then drove off. After 2.5 miles of driving, engine started misfiring, lost a lot of power and barely got us home. Checked the codes when I got home and P0300 and P0305 showed. Shut the engine off, checked for loose connections but didn't find any so I started the car again. After a few minutes of idling, engine struggled then died. Now it is seized and would not start again. Engine had adequate oil and wasn't overfilled when added the Liqui-Moly, coolant level was adequate, no overheating and no issues. Now it's just dead. Car is a 2007 Mercedes ML350 with 165k miles and oil change was only ~1,000 miles ago.

      @@yandel7092 He had to have put it in the gas tank.I did some research and a lot of propeller airplanes use this cause it bonds to the metal and if a plane had an oil pump failure it could fly long enough to land because this stuff forms a coating--just ordered some myself for the first time.Also I now remember in the early 2000s at road atl this silver bottle was in most of the mechanics areas for the race cars--I now realize it was this

      @LiquiMolySouthAfrica another poster commented does the mos2 leave behind deposits over time grease etc, and you replied no because they would be flushed out using liqui moly engine flush, so let's say you don't use the engine flush and keep adding the mos2 every oil change will it be harmful over time and leave deposits behind?

    If molybdenum is so amazing and so great why does no major oil maker put it in there product in the concentration that would be found if adding mos2? Does it leave more deposits? Are you trading off less wear for something else? There’s a reason why Amsoil motul mobile and for the most part liquimoly don’t have this kind of high molybdenum concentration of oils

      Hi Zack, thank you for your query, The production and PATENTING of a liquid additive form of MoS2 in 1957 was Liqui Moly's first product and formed the basis of the company and thus no one else can use it.
      This was also mostly used in semi-synthetic and mineral oil as a solid lubricant a high-pressure high-temperature (HPHT) anti-wear agent in the 1950s - 80s.
      However, as the company grew and engines evolved they started formulating even more technologically advanced friction modifiers for the synthetic oils such as the ones in the Molygen range and Cera Tech.
      It does not leave any deposits, and there is no trading of less wear but it works differently to say a ceramic or tungsten-based additive

      Could it be price? Maybe adding Moly would Increase the price too much in regular motor oil but as an additive it is more marketable to those who care. 90% of people just want the cheap oil that does the job.

    I have a Toyota hilux with 1gd ftv engine, it used to make timing chain noises upon cold start, I added this stuff in and it doesn’t do it anymore, don’t ask me how 😅

      Try it and see. A lot of people have said good things about it. That additive is really not that expensive. I have seen it for $9.69. They have other products that are closer to $30. You know how graphite is used as a lubricant? The molybdenum disufide works in a very similar way. I know there are a lot of additives that did not live up to their promises and it makes people skeptical of these things. I do not sell any of this or have anything to do with Liqui Moly or Lubro Moly. I just use their stuff in my car. I have heard from someone that their gear oil is factory fill in Mercedes differentials too. Although I did not know that til this morning it does not surprise me.

      @@khalilbesma955i also use it on my e36 coupe 1994 its only for old school. Its not a good idea to use it on new cars or low mileage cars because the oil is thicker and Therefore engine has to work harder

      I have the m54 in my x5, id say its good. But in your case of using Ceratec, is it better for the old bmw engines? Or should I stick to the $10 regular anti friction?

    did oil change with this product at 800 klm felt there was a slight drop in oil pressure i put 500mls of uesd oil in a clean glass jar and left to settle at 4days there is a definite color change at the very bottom of the glass a lighter shade of gray and you see this on a dip stick this does concern me somewhat is this product settlement do this test yourself then make up your own mind

      If the additive created a significant improvement in flow throughout the system you may see a slight drop in pressure, you should also see a cooler running engine making more power. Here's some wiki dope; Molybdenum does not occur naturally as a free metal on Earth; it is found only in various oxidation states in minerals. The free element, a silvery metal with a gray cast, has the sixth-highest melting point of any element. It readily forms hard, stable carbides in alloys, and for this reason most of world production of the element (about 80%) is used in steel alloys, including high-strength alloys and superalloys.Molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) is used as a solid lubricant and a high-pressure high-temperature (HPHT) antiwear agent. It forms strong films on metallic surfaces and is a common additive to HPHT greases

      YOU USE JUST A SAMLL AMMOUNT BEFOR A BIG TRIP TO STAY SMASHED BETEWEEN THE FRICTION PARTS. AND SO STAY ON THE METAL.
      IF YOU PUT TOO MUCH AND JUST GIVE A SHORT DRIVE OBVIOUSLY SOME OF IT MAY MAY GO TO BOTTON,
      WHEN YOU DRIVE AGAIN, OIL WILL MAKE THE PRODUCT RECIRCULATE AGAIN...UNTIL IT "GLUE" TO METAL PARTS.AND PROTECT IT DURING MANY MILLIONS OF MILES

    That Nazi technology works well! They used it in planes during WW2 to stop engines seizing up when oil is lost after being shot up...I love additives for smoother running and have used a lot over the years but prefer Nulon E20 with PTFE as it has not caused any problems in the 30 years I have used it. MOS2 is probably more suited to race cars as they get the oil changed every race and the high throughput of oil at high revs would stop any accumulation in oil galleries which may occur in a road car pootling around cold for many years..just my feeling from using them in gently driven road cars. My Corolla has done 377000kms using synthetic oil and Nulon E20 since new, still running nicely

      Its not NAZI Technology. Its US Imperialism Technology :D. The Dow Corning Inc. developed this additiv in the 1940´s for Piston Engine Airplanes. The US - transfer a lot of technology to nazi germany to keep there war mashine working. This my friend - i can tell you as a german ;) Not all technical achievements are archived by germans. But its a lot and was a lot ;)

      Chamaleon Mustermanm I have read a lot of reports about Mos2 in WW2 and there are contradictory statements everywhere....some say Germans developed it as an additive ..others say the Britsh for the jet planes and others I have seen show tins of MOs2 oil used by US army personel. I tend to think now that one invented it and the others copied it when an enemy plane came into their hands for investigation...so who invented it for sure I cannot say now....but Synthetic oils however were famously invented by German in WW2 as illustrated by the following...
      During World War II, the U. S. successfully cut off Germany from the rich oil reserves of the Arabian
      countries. The plan was to starve Hitler of petroleum, a most necessary ingredient for any war machine to function. Without gas and oil, Hitler's army would come to a screeching halt. Gasoline wasn't necessary, because the military tanks and hardware could be retuned to run on alcohol made from corn and other forms of biomass. But there was still a need for lubricating oils.
      Using information gained from the archives of the U.S. patent office, Hitler put his best scientific minds to work
      to produce oils from alcohol and natural gas. Soon, the wheels of his army's machinery as well as his aircraft
      engines were lubricated by high quality man-made oils. Rommel was running circles around the U.S. Army
      because his tanks had superior lubricants and could easily withstand the rigors of the desert heat.
      When our troops overtook Hitler's army, they often found Nazi military jeeps and VW's left behind with a rock
      wedged against the accelerator pedal. The Germans didn't have time to destroy the vehicles and thought that the engines would blow up if left running at full throttle. But because of the incredible synthetic lubricants that were used, the engines merely ran until the fuel tank was empty and died. Our troops refueled them and continued chasing Rommel with some of his own machinery!
      During this time, Both Hitler and the U.S. were developing jet propulsion. We were having a difficult time
      keeping jet turbines from destroying themselves because of the extreme operating conditions they had to endure. The inside of the turbine reached somewhere around 600°F while the outside had to withstand
      40°. There wasn't a lubricant made that could take that kind of punishment But Hitler's highly developed synthetic oils were able to operate under those conditions and his air force had the first jets.
      After the war, the U. S. military was anxious to get its hands on the German military secret oil formulations.
      After we captured the German scientific archives in Berlin, their top-secret formulations were turned over to the big five oil companies for further research. A brilliant chemical engineer named Pete Peterson became America's top synlube expert, working to implement the German formulations. During this time more than two dozen small companies began producing synthetic lubricants for the military, and Peterson consulted with them to bring on the new age of synlubes.
      Early in 1942, Harry Mougey of General Motors Research and Lew Blanc of Caterpillar Tractor Company realized that the superior quality of engine oils used by the German Army could lead to the Allied Forces losing the war. Armed with this information, they went to the Department of War and strongly recommended that the Army develop improved engine and gear oils for wheeled and tracked vehicles. This resulted in the initial involvement of the Illinois Institute of Technology Armour Research Foundation to develop the test methods needed to better define the performance of military automotive lubricants. The Army also requested the Coordinating Research Council’s (CRC’s) assistance in the study. [The CRC is a nonprofit organization that manages engineering and environmental studies on the effects of petroleum products on vehicles.]

      TRUTH SEEKER he didnt want to take over the entire world, thats one of those things they tell you to scare you away from reading into his successful policies too much. However, going into Russia before winter was his key mistake, along with letting the Brits escape at Dunkirk.

    Total and utter BS, for a start WYNNS supported most of the V8 supercar racing industry for a while and there Friction products which were used by Multi million dollar companies to help reduce running costs till they went to the way of just replacing the transport trucks before they ran out of warranty, they all used wynns industrial friction products which i know i worked for them, so this is nothing but a sow and tell for liquid moly and the % of the active ingredient compared to buying the official Molybdenum in the yellow tube is about 80% more concentrated than the liquid moly in the tin cans ? Which also works, but be careful due to new cars and the cats, which will clog up if used all the time at each oil change ?

    Omy mobil 1 last year used mos2 an 2 of my cars got main bearing fail and these were not racing cars

      Yup. The "larger" physical size of the Moly particles Do have a tendency to be bind together due to the particles affinity to "cluster" together.... Now, with a "nano" treatment, the nano "particle" size is so small that they will not bind together to any appreciable size to cause an oil passage blockage.... I WAS thinking about Molhy for my 08 5.7 HEMI RAM, but, am using Archoil AR9100 instead and my engine sounds like a big ass watch.
