Thank you my friend! You are a huge motivating factor, so thanks again!
🎯 , I like that. Pick your lane. It’s not ideal to need a book or phone in the moment. Rock solid!
Looing forward to your journey! Thank you!
Now this is gonna get real good. Hooked n stoked, following his process n progression is for sure gonna be a game changer for us hunters. Quality control doesn't apply here. Ya got us and it's definitely in the bag 🎯 Tks guys for thinking out of the box. See ya next time....blessings 🤓
Thats what we are trying to do.... About that QA.... hahahaha.... it will get better. For example next time we will put a wall in the background to eliminate the ghosts in the vid haha. Thanks for the support and good luck out there!
Great info right there for new collectors!
Thank you for your support!!!
Great information! Love all of this !
Thank you bro... Much much more to come!
Eyy thanks for sharing your knowledge brother
Thank you!!! Appreciate the support.
Good info. Id add; once you find your specialty; join all the organizations dealing with your specialty and BUY EVERY BOOK RELATED to that specialty. Even ones that breifly mention. Ive found the most important small details in the strangest places.
Great idea for a video series Chris ! Yes number one tip would be to just look at coins. I’ve spent thousands of hours watching and sifting through coins via eBay auctions which was how I got started
Thank you for your support and kind words... Ebay is an amazing resource. I remember the days well when I used to surf Ebay until my eyes felt like they were gonna bleed. Keep crushing my friend. more vids to come minimum of 1 per week, so stay stuned.
Lol yah I’ve got much better at it over time. I tell people that I often have to sift through hundreds sometimes thousands of coins before I even find one to bid on but the strategy pays off. Oh and I make a lot less mistakes then I used too..
Awesome thanks for this video
It would be helpful when you share the paid for/sold for numbers to include the costs for grading. You make it sound like you just send these coins off to get graded and they magically reappear. Sending coins to PCGS is labor intensive, takes time, and it’s not cheap. And what about the times you sent a coin and the grade was worse than you’d hoped for? If that war nickel had come back AU, you’d have lost money on the deal.
Very Good information!
Glad you like it!! Thank you
I wish someone have given me this advice when I started! Great Video. 😀👍
When I discovered coins I wished I had started 10 years earlier for many years... Finally had to let go of that, and when those feelings come up, I think, "at least I started when I did"..... Gotta get that perspective. Thank you for watching and the kind words!
@@COINTABLEChrisTisdale You are very welcome. 😀
You said this was going to be the year you help people. Making a great Start of it. Is that a real life coin show open during pandemic. Wait I see a guy with mask in background. Good things coin shows are essential. Be well and keep the videos coming. You exploded on instagram. Congrats
I did say that, and I cannot believe that the year is already almost half over. that said, I will be uploading at least 1 video every week from here on out! At least 1 per week, and moving up from there! thanks for the support.
Oh, and yes it was last Friday June 19 2020. Thank you for the kind words.
@@COINTABLEChrisTisdale I rang your bell so I will be watching them all.
I think for a lot of ppl they pick there lane or what coin they will focus on comes down to what coins they have a connection to. For example, my dad loved Isenhower as a president. So I studied his presidency a little bit. That drew me towards ikes. Definitely not my favorite coin. But I like them, buy them when I see good ones. And don't mind reading up on the series.
Awesome brother! Loved this video👍this is usually what I been doing lately , studying one coin, well not really one , been looking at type coins , love them! Really like capped bust half dollars, they are stunners! Great informative video Chris! Loved it!
Thank you kindly. I wish you the best of luck!
past year it’s been really had to sell coins than before Covid
I have about 8 Washington quarters that are so nice . What do I look for to know if they’re good enough to get graded ( pre 1965 ) you can almost see yourself in them
If they are so reflective you can almost see yourself in them I would guess they are proofs. and if they are proofs, they are likely not worth grading. If they are business strikes thats a different story, I would need to see them
How can one from African Sell coins from here? I have a whole lot of collections of coins in hundreds but doesn't have means to sell them.
Any suggestions or link?
Am selling old coin queen Elizabeth and Euros
To whom do we sell coins to?
So how do you make money...
I have coins of all kinds. We've been sorting them from rare to year etc. Is there away to sell them without going to shows?
Ebay. It requires your social security number after making 600$ , and you must file taxes. If your careful tho, you know what to do.
Coin collecting is awesome and a new venture for me. I am open to any comments or tips
My biggest piece of advice for a new collector would be to look at everything and find that coin, or area that calls to you. Then, once it calls to you, SPECIALIZE, SPECIALIZE, SPECIALIZE.....
@@COINTABLEChrisTisdale Thanks I have found some interesting coins. I'll post them on my channel.
I'm a beginner and I'm a bit intimidated because I don't know much about selling the coins or even pointing out the actual attraction that the coins have, for example the DDO or DDR it's a bit confusing and I just heard that you're not allowed to sell coins on EBAY anymore so that's another thing that I am pretty nervous about. Oh, and I like PENNIES more than any other coins but I STILL look through them. So can ya help me out here cuz even PCGS, NGC AND HERITAGE AUCTIONS are confusing as hell when I go into their website😏😏😏😏😏😏
Well, Yes absolutely I can help you out, watch my other content and leave comments with specific questions... this one here is a bit loaded. That said, YES, you absolutely 100% can sell coins on Ebay still. Another thing, I was a bit overwhelmed too when I first started.. I think everyone is. You just neeed to start somewhere and take it one bite at a time!
@@COINTABLEChrisTisdale thank you, I truly appreciate that you even responded to my comment and questions, I will check out your videos thanks
