Sweet box of Rockhound Treasure! We are surrounded by an awesome community of Rockhounds!! When I first cut Pet wood I was all, that cuts nothing like wood! Hahaha.. Cutting as much as you did really works the blade and the fingers out! Those cuts came out looking great!

You're making cabs!!! Oh hells yeah Taylor! This is so AWESOME!!! They are going to be spectacular I cannot wait to see✨ You made some fantistic cuts.
I forgot I sent so much Haha! At least it wasn't all crap🤣 LOL I'll have to send you more (crap) if you want 😄 It's actually pretty cool to cut open...it doesn't turn your fingers brown and it doesn't stink😆 Some can look pretty darn coolio. Anyways, I'm glad you're having fun with it... I think it was the coolest fossil ever! Lol
    Cheers Taylor✨

Opal is my favourite. I have a black opal pendant that's been passed down in my family since the late 1890s.

Hiya, now you know that there is more out there than just agates. That's why I love opalized wood and or coral. Sometimes there's color play and sometimes not, but it's all so beautiful.

I loved the first cut ... I found a similar pet. wood like that first piece ... its an amazing big piece of pet. wood found in my sister's yard. Its from Arkansas and travelled north to be used as part of a nondescript garden border. I screamed when I saw it! Now its ALL MINE ... lolol! I'm not sure what to do with it or even where to take it to get cleaned up, perhaps cut and polished. There's light purple, some banding and a crazy bark exterior ... I'd love to send a couple of photos so you can check it out and maybe get some direction on this epic find! Thanks for another great video.

A tip I read about opal is to keep it soaking in water. Opal is found in Lahars I was doing was research because I found some on the banks of the Columbia river in Washington state. It's green and fractures eaisly. I'd be willing to send you a few pieces if you want. My opal is common opal. No precious opal.

So Beautiful! Dumb question what is the difference between agatized and opalized? I have several big pieces of petrified wood. One is bigger than my hand probably weighs 2 pounds. Thank you for sharing.

I could watch you cutting that whole tub in one video! But that would not be fair on you. Is petrified wood usually hard or easy to slab? It always amazes me how beautiful and different each piece is.

Very nice piece's of agatized pet. wood and great job of cutting them.
    Two quick questions for everyone...
    Has anyone seen:
    1: Agatized, Crystalized, Petrified wood?
2: If so, have you seen or heard of it being found in a man-made structure?

Some of that material could be uv reactive. So far I’ve found yellow, orange and a mix of the two.
