I pur it in cat litter
@@RockhoundingLife thank you! I didn't know if any oil residue would cause the epoxy to not set up?
You are my favorite UA-camr i live in new Brunswick
I think I misunderstood what kind of wood that is… chordate? Cordate? I am intimidated by epoxy, but shucks, now I have to try it. O holy Night is my fave, as I spent my whole childhood singing in choirs.
Cordaites. Epoxy is pretty easy to use. You can also buy 1 part epoxy. No mixing. Happy Holidays!
@@RockhoundingLife oh good, now I can look up cordaites! Merry merry and thanks!
Just wondering why you soaked the petrified wood in oil before you put the epoxy on, and what kind of oil did you use? Thanks.
I didnt soak it in oil. I removed the oil first that was on it from the slab saw.
I use make up grade mineral oil in my saws. No smell.
@@RockhoundingLife Oh, ok, sorry, I misunderstood what you were saying. Thanks for clarifying.
could u please help me identify that piece i had found near an old volcanic area in egypt?
Did you sen an email to Rockhoundinglife@gmail.com?
