    “Are you stoned now?” Made me laugh 😂😂😂. I’ve sometimes wanted to ask people that question, mid conversation. Keep up the good work, Chai!

    At 01:35...Thailand does not have a Good Samaritan law so if you injure or kill someone you're helping, you can be held liable for any further injury or death caused by your actions. In the United States, you are immune from any liability when you rescue or assist an injured individual. This is the reason why Thais are hesitant in getting involved after a vehicle accident.

    • @Chai_Travel
      @Chai_Travel  Місяць тому

      Wow that’s an interesting input. Thanks 🙏

    • @PJoeyCho
      @PJoeyCho 14 днів тому

      Actually, this is not the main reason. Generally, Thai people never hesitate to help when they meet someone who has an accident. But it does not mean that in every situation, there will be someone to help every time. It depends on what the situation is like. Can they help? If they can help, they will do it. That foreigner may not have seen the whole incident because I believe that someone had already called an ambulance from the beginning even though they did not go down to help immediately.

    Great work champ. The Swedish girl for me the pick of them. The weirdest thing for me is zebra crossings on the streets which here in Oz the rule is for traffic to stop both ways to enable the pedestrian to cross. 50 odd years back I was in Bangkok with the parents and my mother crossed in front of us and nothing stopped. She was petrified and stuck in the middle of the road but finally meandered her way to the other side. After that experience she could not wait to get out of the country. We were only there one night anyway in transit. Nothing has changed from my experiences there over the many years since but at least now they have built overhead crossings 😂🤣😂 Another thing I found weird was there were magazines openly on sale for anyone to purchase (no age limit restrictions) showing forensic photos of dead people whether murdered, by suicide or accidents. Now that really is weird but suggests that the attitude to life maybe is different there.

      @Chai_Travel  Місяць тому +1

      Omg the story about you mom in traffic 🤭I’m glad she made the crossing in one piece😅 yeah mate, that’s about right. The attitude to life is somewhat different here and it’s quite interesting 😁 also the no helmet for kids and no belts in the back seat can be frowned upon though it could just have to do with that some attitude :) 🙏 thanks again Steven. Have a great day
