@ 7:50 You may have the "Baby Duramax" designations backwards .... From the GM page (The new LZ0 engine delivers a sizable increase in power and torque over its predecessor, the LM2.
Max power is 305 horsepower, a 10 percent increase over the 277 horsepower in the LM2
Max torque is 495 pound-feet, a 7.6 percent increase over the 460 pound-feet in the LM2
The gains in power and torque are the result of upgrades to several key components for optimum performance, including:
New steel pistons with a revised combustion bowl
Retuned turbo compressor
New fuel injectors
Improved temperature control features
That paint sure shows dust ........ Your reviews are a 100 !!
Yes it can compete because if I get one I’ll pay 10k under msrp.
ABSOLUTELY!!💯
Was torn between a f350 lariat ult/sport and a denali when looking for a SRW pickup. GMC with the tiny fuel tank was not cool but then they really lost me when I found there was no option to get away from all the hideous looking chrome. It literally looks like it hit a 4x8 sheet of plasty chrome on the interstate. I liked the gauges better in the gmc but the ford has a better hud. I also liked the seats better in the ford but it seemed like the gmc rode softer, probably due to the ifs. I LOVED that tailgate, light years better then the f350.
GREAT Video man, I love your work. You have come a long way, for a reason.
The IFS on these take a beating form towing just no way around that. I rebuilt them on my trucks as low as 60K miles. about 2k $ if you do it yourself. I'm trying a F350 XLT DRW next.
No rear wheel liners on a Denali 😂
But you can get a Silverado 3500 LT dually with almost the same options for $75k. Why would you pay $20k more for this truck? If anything, get the LT and put the extra $20k in savings towards aftermarket options.
20k more for a Denali really?
The stupidest thing gmc did for 2025 was get rid of the volcanic red tint coat. That was the best color they offered and they’re dumb for getting rid of it for the denali trim
I like these GM trucks , very nice but these GMC IFS suspensions always need rebuilding at about 60K to 90K miles. Towing is very hard on the IFS suspensions of these trucks for some reason. Sure you get a better ride. I've rebuilt 3 front IFS suspensions and replaced the torsion bars in all of them myself on my trucks, it's a very detailed job to do in addition to the 4 wheel alignment. I looked at the new GMC 2025 3500 and there is really no improvement in their IFS system other than their going for a independent rear suspension now, just more headaches to deal with. Off Road the 2500 trucks do well with the factory suspension just turn the suspension keys up and add some extended reservoir shocks your good to go.
I'm going to pass on Chevrolet GMC 3500 this time and try a 2025 F350 XLT DRW for towing. I'm done with GM suspensions.
This truck actually costs less than my 2023 Denali Ultimate dually.
I don’t think it can compete!!
Nope, not unless it's making money for me!
nope
Couple issues with GM styling-
They can’t seem to match the chrome finishes they insist on having all over their trucks.
They aren’t accounting for the emissions garbage killing fuel economy and including 50/60/70/80 etc gallon fuel tank!
Yeah I’ll go ahead and say it-
Maybe GM suffers from having a female CEO, how often you think she tows a 30k# 5th wheel…… 👎
