Here's part 2 of Don Quijote and I'm showing you guys my top 10 beauty items! And for the guys that watch my videos, don't shy away from this one just because it's beauty items! Some of these you can use for yourself, and you could also get gift ideas for the important ladies in your life! (≡^∇^≡) Don't forget to comment to let me know what videos you would like to see next!!!
Please do more Japanese beauty and skincare products. I’m very intrigue by all those things you recommend. I will totally look for them when I come to visit in Japan. 😊
You should list on the description the names of the products. (Please) for foreign people like me, easier to find out since in the video it's hard to read off the bottle.
@nimrashaukat4046 5 years ago!! How have you been!😂❤ hope u can give us tip now! Im combination skin ,been through korean skincare now im into Japanese skincare ,I'm adopted and i feel im missing out ,in west there limited things for my skin ,i have light skintone , olive undertone and combo skin... anything u suggest would be appreciated!❤
Yu, you always impress me with your production quality, great work. So excited to go back and try out more! I currently use the Heroine Make Mascara and it's easily the best mascara I have ever used. Hold the strongest curl!
thank you so much for saying that the products can be used by men!! sometimes i feel almost not welcome to the skincare community, and these small things really make a difference! thank u! (i love your vids btw!)
Thank you so much so helpful, it is difficult to know what to buy when my Japanese is so limited and having my husband read them is not much help either. It's so great that you make these videos, they have helped my transition to Tokyo life much easier.
"I want those!" and "mine!".. is all my girlfriend said throughout the video. This is like disneyland for her. 😂 Thanks for another great upload. We definitely need simcard/wifi when we're there so that we can look at your videos again as a guide. Btw, which brand of simcard do you recommend?
Yep, would be great to see a video about wifi for tourists in Japan, I heard that the way how a tourist get wifi is a it different in Japan as it is a little thing for renting and carrying around? How much is it? How does it work? SIM card info is also good to be included if u can, thanks heaps!
So many people ask about sim card/wifi access when traveling to Japan, I might make a video about it, either in a single video or as part of another video. I definitely recommend you renting a wifi egg, cheaper than a sim card and gives you internet access everywhere. Sim card just lets you make calls but I doubt people would really need to call people on their trip (and making international calls would cost a ton). Plus you can always use wifi to make calls too with some apps
now i know the gadget is called wifi egg, how cute the name is! yes pls do it in the video to show us what it looks like and where to get it from...plus how to use it :) PS: it will be me and my partner travelling together, i wonder we rent 1 egg or 2 eggs?
I went to Japan twice, and as a tourists we could only buy a data only sim card (you can only use internet with that card, not for calls or messaging). And if you prefer to buy simcard over renting wifi, I would recommend buying it at the airport, since the price is cheaper than electronic stores in the city. I got mine (a 2GB data plan card, for 30 days. the brand is freetel), for 3000 yen (in the city I bought the same card for 3300 yen before). But if there's 2 of you, I think it's better to rent wi-fi. You could look it up in internet (my friend recommend me ninja wifi / pupuru)
fua:thank u so much! i checked freetel, it is around 34 dollars for 2gb. i wonder how long 2 gb lasts? i mainly want to use it for checking websites to see info about local japanese stores, using google map, using local guide phone app. thats it. we will stay for 20 days. u suggested renting wifi gadget is better than sim card for 2? my partner is happy to follow me so i guess i wil be the only one for checking info. i had a look at ninja wifi, it seems more expensive compared to data sim, it is about 9 dollars a day, for 20 days, it would be 180 dollars! too much cost for me...hope to hear from u again! thanks
Tokiyuyu, you're a life saver! I fall in love with senka perfect whip the instant i tried it! And you're right, the biore sheet is very effective in taking away all my make up. Can't wait to try the DHC deep cleansing oil and labolabo pore lotion tonight! Thank you so much and please keep making recommended stuff videos like this as for a first timer in Japan, visiting big stores like donki can be overwhelming.
I have such a love/hate relationship with stores like this because 1. I want to look and touch everything but 2. there so much going on in the store that it gives me anxiety Lol
wow. the powder which could be used for 24hours is really interesting. i thought that u do not need to remove this powder in the end of the day but i found out that it was impossible because we actually spent some time for cleaning all the make up. well. u use it in the night after u do the night skin care and it's awesome. it's a genius product! 😍
You are a life saver!!!!!! I'm going to Japan in a month and skin care and makeup are my ultimate weakness, and all those products look amazing 😍! Thank you for making this video.
That Moteliner was recommended by Pony too!! Love your videos. Love how it's so concise and informative and pleasant to watch. :D Thank you for your recommendations.
Love the perfect shower spray, coz it's for hot and humid weather. I'm glad I found your channel. I enjoyed how straight forward you presented these products.
yay!! Actually like 9/10 of the items you listed I was intending to stock up on when I go to japan in a couple months! Can't wait for your hair color recommendations. I think what you did show me was that I probably only need to go to donki for most of my shopping needs :D
Yay, I was waiting for this video! Thank you for all the great product recommendations! That skincare/makeup powder seems really interesting. I've never heard about it before! As expected, TokiYuYu is the best!
This is such a good video. I have been to Japan several times, but always have troubles with what beauty products to buy because there are so many different kinds. For my next trip I will keep this in mind. Thank you!
I've been living in Japan for almost two years now but I've never really know their good skincare because I'm a Korean beauty lover. But, I think I can start using them too! A good video!
Ive been in japan for 3 yrs now, i have just been exploring with the beauty products now and so far, my fave brand is Majolica Majorca, i love their Long Long lash mascara it’s also waterproof (really does the job), settjng spray & foundation. Integrate- love their foundation. I love the moistlabo bb cream too
I'll keep it in mind for future videos! There are so many good masks but at the same time kinda have the same effects if you know what I mean, so I'll have to try out more to decide what the best ones are!
I love DHC deep cleansing oil and perfect whip! Thanks for making this video and hope you make more. I love learning about the different Japanese beauty products and would love to hear about your shampoo recommendations.
Ahhh Japan... What a dream walhala for kawaii and unique products. I hope to visit it again soon and get all things I have listed from this video. Thank you so much!
Thank youuu sooo much!!! This is like dreamland for me & cant wait to visit to take home some products for me & my friends!!!! Thanks also for doing the shots with the prices very clear... realized I need to up my savings lol!!!
The mascara is soooo good! When I was living in Japan I was sceptical at first, but I found it really easy to remove and I was so surprised because although the humidity is really high in Japan it was REALLY waterproof! Because I'm not an Asian, it was really hard to find make-up that didn't blur or smudge after a few hours (the Japanese and Chinese I've met in Japan didn't seem to sweat but I surely did T_T ), but this mascara was and surely is the best. Compared to a lot ''waterproof'' mascaras in Germany and the US it stayed put for the whole day and even after I used make-up remover for the rest of my face it wouldn't come off. :D I love this video! I wished I'd found your channel last year, that would've been really useful. ;D Because like you said: there are SO MANY products in Japan. It drove me insane. :D
I feel like Asian beauty products are much more humidity-proof than Western ones, probably because of the climate! Don't get me wrong, I have some things I can't live without from the US, but most of the things I use now are Japanese or Korean, otherwise my face would be melting in this ridiculous Japanese summer weather lol
thanks for the Video,.I'll go to japan and I was thinking to buy beauty products to gift to my sister. I hope you can do a top 10 souvenirs or top Food to try because we as tourists sometimes need help to buy or eat something we don't know merci beaucoup
I'm so jealous of the limited edition DHC stuff! I use a lot of their products, but we have a limited selection in the US. Could you do a video about going to a movie in Japan? I know it is different and am curious about the snacks people eat!
Omg. Thank you, new subscriber here. I'm excited for my next Tokyo trip this December! Will watch more of your vids, for more beauty and makeup recommendations - because that's what I get as souvenirs, too.
OMG I wish this video was out before I went to Japan I stand in don quiote and never know what to buy ! I did buy the foam rose face wash that comes out in the shape of a rose 🌹
Yeah!!! i just place order some cosmetics, mask and skin care from hoyoyo Japan proxy too... Can't wait to get and try it out!!! Also can;t wait to plan my Japan trip!!!
Your Japan recommendations are so great!! I just got back from a 2 week trip and I am so happy I watched your videos beforehand so I didn't get too overwhelmed with the huge selection at Don Quijote. I especially loved the suppin 24 hour powder. Thank you so much!
Thanks for your video! I got the sunscreen, toner, the cleansing oil, biore wipes, the soy cleanser, the eyeliner, mascara and the lip balm!!! I love them all except for the mascara and the eyeliner, but I'm glad i tried them nonetheless :) I was wondering about your recommendation for face moisturizer, hand cream to carry around and body lotion. I currently use Minon amino moist and hadalabo- gokujyun (sorry, can't read kanji) for my face but i'm not too crazy about either. thanks so much for your help. your videos are great!!!
Great video. Enjoy hearing about all the products. Do you have a recommendation for a good quality compact foundation. Its so easy to use and usually blends nicely. And where to buy please. I'm excited to see what Japan has to offer on makeup products for my upcoming trip!!
Thank you! I love the video and would really love to try the DHC cleansing oil as I have heard so much about it. I also want to try the Perfect Whip face wash and toner you mentioned. Now I have a list I could ask my friends to buy when they go to Japan or I may need to go there. Haha
Thank you so much for these videos..I've been to Don Quijote a few times but never buy anything because I'm just overwhelmed with all the options (and because I can't read Japanese >.
Hi Yu!! I recently found your channel as I'm going to Japan this summer and I'm addicted to your videos! Super informative and very very nice to watch! ^.^ thank you! I was wondering if you could do a video on Japanese makeup brushes, Hakohodo and such, if you have any information on them or your top picks! ^.^ thanks!
In terms of brushes, I haven't personally tried very many, but actually MUJI brushes are really high quality and not as expensive as Hakuhodo brushes. I recommend the entire line which has maybe 6-7 brushes
I love this video. This is how it supposed to be I'm everyone's UA-cam channel. They all have to know how the products look likes inside and out. Very important to show how the inside products looks like
When I come to Japan and look at products, do any of them have English instructions? Thank you When the Corona virus is finished I plan on making my first trip to Japan to visit my family in Nagoya and Sapporo. I can't wait.
thank you for sharing your favorites! could you please make a video on your favorite korean skincare and make up products (which hopefully can be bought in Korean town -Shin Okubo) looking forward :))
Hi, can you please tell which “perfect shower” you’re recommending in this video? Actually, I was checking the site and there were three types- perfect shower wave, perfect shower moist n perfect shower smooth? Please help n thanks for the amazing video❤️
Hello YuYu! Do you have any recommendations for sensitive/acne prone skin? Currently, I use Cetaphil & salicylic acid for spot treatment & I was hoping I'd find some sensitive skin productd in Japan when I get there next month.
Love the videos! for the ones with products it would be great if you said how much they each cost in the videos just so we get the idea and in case we have friends going to Japan and have them shop for products. Noticed you mention the price on some but not all....Thanks!
Hi am so glad i found you .. am moving to Japan next year am so scared am afraid i dont imagine my life iver there . I live in USA. But we have to move because of my husban job ..... but thanks to ur videos ur making me think different
We got stationed in japan and girl!! Don quixote have so many products. I’d usually spend atleast 2 hrs there in the beauty/makeup section. Too much stuff in there!!!
Thanks for your quick reply. Have you tried cure exfoliant or? It's no 1 selling, suppose to actually peel off dead skin. Looks very interesting, I mailed order one from Amazon. Was wondering if you think it's real skin that is coming off or just the gel ingredients?
Wow.. thanks so much for making the top 10 make up edition at Don Qui. Btw, do you have recommendation for a good powder brush that's small (probably with a cap) and travel friendly?
Check out MUJI! They have 2 portable retractable brushes with caps. The slightly bigger one is 1800Yen, the other one is 1500Yen. Their entire brush line is really good by the way!
I really love Kate products specially their eyeliners😍 Unfortunately, Don Quijote here in US does have limitation for such items..they focus more on foods though😅
Here's part 2 of Don Quijote and I'm showing you guys my top 10 beauty items! And for the guys that watch my videos, don't shy away from this one just because it's beauty items! Some of these you can use for yourself, and you could also get gift ideas for the important ladies in your life! thank you so much for saying that the products can be used by men!! sometimes i feel almost not welcome to the skincare community, and these small things really make a difference! thank u! (i love your vids btw!)
Sheseido is so expensive in New Zealand
I can't believe how cheap it is in Japan.
Thank you so much so helpful, it is difficult to know what to buy when my Japanese is so limited and having my husband read them is not much help either. It's so great that you make these videos, they have helped my transition to Tokyo life much easier.

Hi, can you please tell which “perfect shower” you’re recommending in this video? Actually, I was checking the site and there were three types- perfect shower wave, perfect shower moist n perfect shower smooth? Please help n thanks for the amazing video❤️
Mine is the smooth type, but you can pick whichever that suits your hair type
Hello YuYu! Do you have any recommendations for sensitive/acne prone skin? Currently, I use Cetaphil & salicylic acid for spot treatment & I was hoping I'd find some sensitive skin productd in Japan when I get there next month.
This is very helpful thank you! Donqi is just too much for me and I can never choose
Love the videos! for the ones with products it would be great if you said how much they each cost in the videos just so we get the idea and in case we have friends going to Japan and have them shop for products. Noticed you mention the price on some but not all....Thanks!
I'll keep that in mind for future videos. Sometimes I link the price in the info box :)
Im arrived Osaka yesterday and went to Donki today just to find all the products that you mentioned XD
Haha you'll love them!
Super helpful video, thank you!! :D
Thank you for this video! I love it. Very helpful.
They are so cheap! wow! Love your video.
This makes me wanna visit Japan. 💕

Wow.. thanks so much for making the top 10 make up edition at Don Qui. Btw, do you have recommendation for a good powder brush that's small (probably with a cap) and travel friendly?
Check out MUJI! They have 2 portable retractable brushes with caps. The slightly bigger one is 1800Yen, the other one is 1500Yen. Their entire brush line is really good by the way!
thanks for the info, Tokiyuyu. :D
I saw a Don Quijote while in Japan earlier this year & I thought it was a restaurant!! Now I'm so mad that I didnt go inside! :'(
I really love Kate products specially their eyeliners😍 Unfortunately, Don Quijote here in US does have limitation for such items..they focus more on foods though😅
Haha can't complain about food, but the beauty area is my FAVORITE section in Don Quijote!
TokiYuYu...kawaii stuff is life😆💖✌
