    "I want those!" and "mine!".. is all my girlfriend said throughout the video. This is like disneyland for her. 😂 Thanks for another great upload. We definitely need simcard/wifi when we're there so that we can look at your videos again as a guide. Btw, which brand of simcard do you recommend?

    • @yyysboy1
      @yyysboy1 7 років тому +4

      Yep, would be great to see a video about wifi for tourists in Japan, I heard that the way how a tourist get wifi is a it different in Japan as it is a little thing for renting and carrying around? How much is it? How does it work? SIM card info is also good to be included if u can, thanks heaps!

    • @TokiYuYu
      @TokiYuYu  7 років тому +32

      So many people ask about sim card/wifi access when traveling to Japan, I might make a video about it, either in a single video or as part of another video. I definitely recommend you renting a wifi egg, cheaper than a sim card and gives you internet access everywhere. Sim card just lets you make calls but I doubt people would really need to call people on their trip (and making international calls would cost a ton). Plus you can always use wifi to make calls too with some apps

    • @yyysboy1
      @yyysboy1 7 років тому +5

      now i know the gadget is called wifi egg, how cute the name is! yes pls do it in the video to show us what it looks like and where to get it from...plus how to use it :) PS: it will be me and my partner travelling together, i wonder we rent 1 egg or 2 eggs?

    • @guruguru-zu9lr
      @guruguru-zu9lr 7 років тому +5

      I went to Japan twice, and as a tourists we could only buy a data only sim card (you can only use internet with that card, not for calls or messaging). And if you prefer to buy simcard over renting wifi, I would recommend buying it at the airport, since the price is cheaper than electronic stores in the city. I got mine (a 2GB data plan card, for 30 days. the brand is freetel), for 3000 yen (in the city I bought the same card for 3300 yen before). But if there's 2 of you, I think it's better to rent wi-fi. You could look it up in internet (my friend recommend me ninja wifi / pupuru)

    • @yyysboy1
      @yyysboy1 7 років тому +3

      fua:thank u so much! i checked freetel, it is around 34 dollars for 2gb. i wonder how long 2 gb lasts? i mainly want to use it for checking websites to see info about local japanese stores, using google map, using local guide phone app. thats it. we will stay for 20 days. u suggested renting wifi gadget is better than sim card for 2? my partner is happy to follow me so i guess i wil be the only one for checking info. i had a look at ninja wifi, it seems more expensive compared to data sim, it is about 9 dollars a day, for 20 days, it would be 180 dollars! too much cost for me...hope to hear from u again! thanks

  • @ClamoreFanForeva

    The mascara is soooo good! When I was living in Japan I was sceptical at first, but I found it really easy to remove and I was so surprised because although the humidity is really high in Japan it was REALLY waterproof! Because I'm not an Asian, it was really hard to find make-up that didn't blur or smudge after a few hours (the Japanese and Chinese I've met in Japan didn't seem to sweat but I surely did T_T ), but this mascara was and surely is the best. Compared to a lot ''waterproof'' mascaras in Germany and the US it stayed put for the whole day and even after I used make-up remover for the rest of my face it wouldn't come off. :D
    I love this video! I wished I'd found your channel last year, that would've been really useful. ;D Because like you said: there are SO MANY products in Japan. It drove me insane. :D

    • @TokiYuYu
      @TokiYuYu  7 років тому

      I feel like Asian beauty products are much more humidity-proof than Western ones, probably because of the climate! Don't get me wrong, I have some things I can't live without from the US, but most of the things I use now are Japanese or Korean, otherwise my face would be melting in this ridiculous Japanese summer weather lol

    Love the videos! for the ones with products it would be great if you said how much they each cost in the videos just so we get the idea and in case we have friends going to Japan and have them shop for products. Noticed you mention the price on some but not all....Thanks!

      I'll keep that in mind for future videos. Sometimes I link the price in the info box :)

    We got stationed in japan and girl!! Don quixote have so many products. I’d usually spend atleast 2 hrs there in the beauty/makeup section. Too much stuff in there!!!

    Thanks for your quick reply. Have you tried cure exfoliant or? It's no 1 selling, suppose to actually peel off dead skin. Looks very interesting, I mailed order one from Amazon. Was wondering if you think it's real skin that is coming off or just the gel ingredients?

    Wow.. thanks so much for making the top 10 make up edition at Don Qui. Btw, do you have recommendation for a good powder brush that's small (probably with a cap) and travel friendly?

      Check out MUJI! They have 2 portable retractable brushes with caps. The slightly bigger one is 1800Yen, the other one is 1500Yen. Their entire brush line is really good by the way!

    I really love Kate products specially their eyeliners😍 Unfortunately, Don Quijote here in US does have limitation for such items..they focus more on foods though😅

      Haha can't complain about food, but the beauty area is my FAVORITE section in Don Quijote!
