Gravel Driveway Resurfacing With The Box Blade

- The Mahindra Max 26 XLT compact tractor gets needed seat time. After a long wet winter the driveway is in need of some freshening up. We use the 5' box blade with the ripper shanks all of the way down and the box tilted back to dig up old rock. We then move them back up and with the box tilted up move some rock around and level it all out.

We have the RK24. I think it’s the clone of your Mahindra Max. Made by TYM. It’s been a great tractor. One of the first jobs was to box blade my gravel driveway and it turned out fantastic. I had drainage issues and fixed the driveway crown and also dug a shallow drainage channel with the backhoe. Now even major rains don’t wash it out. Thanks for the video!

You might want to use a land plane after you rip all up I find it to work much nicer for leveling up the gravel
