I've loved the Taco Bell Mexican pizza for years & missed it 😭 but Taco Bell has lost their minds Idk what they have been doing with their foods but your food always looks amazing so thank God you have a vegan substitute for it 😍🤤🤤😊

I always added lettuce on top when I got it before they discontinued it. The lettuce adds a needed fresh taste to it. Seems like they increased the crispness of the tortillas in the re release. Tastes decent but I'll have to get lettuce on top again next time. Maybe some fresh cucumber would be good.
I always added lettuce to mine as well. Made the vegan version a little less sad.
I used to really like the mexican pizza. Taco Bell seems to be slacking on some of their food. It started way back with the Nachos Bellgrande. It used to have everything and the kitchen sink in it and now it's hardly anything. It's sad they made the pizza so impotent too but now we can make our own! :)

I couldn’t understand why two channels I’m subscribed to uploaded Mexican pizza recipes almost simultaneously but the other video mentioned it’s newly back on the Taco Bell menu. Had no idea it was gone! Definitely one of the Taco Bell items that gets very sad when veganized.

This recipe is awesome. Almost done prepping to make mine. I made my own refried beans, but decided to use a canned enchilada sauce that I doctored up. I'm also using Gardein crumbles and some minced portabello mushrooms as the "meat". I'm also going to add some sliced black olives on top. I'm using violife Mexican style shreds for the cheese and freshly diced and deseeded Roma tomatoes on top. I'm so excited!

If you cook the lentils yourself cook them in the broth and spices but not the lime juice. Add that after.
You can also season up vegetarian refried beans. Fat free refried beans are usually vegan. We like the far free ones because they have more room for seasoning.
This was one of my late night/early morning “go to’s” as a teen in the early 90’s when I was complete off my head.😵💫😑

Wait your cheese hack includes a whole bag of Violife cheese, some sodium citrate, and *half* a cup of water?? Do you simmer it down? Is that two pink molds worth? I know you deleted the footage, but do you have any other documentation of this hack lol
Haha so yeah you dissolve the sodium citrate in water, bring to a boil, add the cheese and then just whisk until melted. Then add it to a mold or Tupperware. Freeze it, let it defrost slightly until it’s not frozen but still firm. And then grate it. It only does half of one those molds.
