At first, there was information that the DJI RS 3 MINI supports the Z8 camera. However, this information has now disappeared. Additionally, users are still experiencing issues connecting to it via Bluetooth
Seems to be a great new lightweight gimbal for cameras for easy carrying and taking shoots on the move🎥📸 Hoping it has strong motors as well for nice and smooth shots😎

Looks like a great product but DJI, please make the joystick more durable and removable. I travel a lot and my RS2 and RS3 joysticks have broken during transport or out in the field. It is EXPONENTIALLY better to lose a replaceable joystick and have extras on-hand than to break a joystick that can't simply be replaced out on the field. Screwing on a new joystick that takes 30 seconds is better than a 2-3 week wait for repairs/replacement of a new gimbal.

Hey DJI, i am an owner of the mini. I hope you read this, i feel that the rear button on the gimbal is very underutilised. It’s only for gimbal lock(useless) and selfie mode. Maybe you can introduce a firmware update where, 1) When u hold the button, it automatically goes to pan&tilt mode and when released it goes back to the original mode. 2) When u press the button thrice, it goes back to the original straight position for all axis, rather than wait for it to centre which sucks especially when my settings are slow. sometimes it doesnt even flow to it’s original straight position. Thanks for reading.

l was looking for a Gimbal to have in my onemo backpack, as I want to be able to film videos with movement with my Sony ax53. This gimbal seems to offer everything I want. As it is lighter than a larger gimbal, more portable in size, and its attach feature seems to be significantly more stream line. My only request for future DJi Gimbal is that the technology behind DJi osmo Mobile, i.e. the ability to really fast attach the device in order to be able to quickly use it, is transferred to future DJI camera gimbals.

I think that is just at the weight limit. If I were you go with the regular rs3 for that setup.
I'd still go with the RS3. The mini doesn't have auto locks, and trust me, you want those.
