+Evan Paluch The album is made exactly the same as vinyl albums were back in the day ie A-side and B-side. Those interludes help the flow between tracks and set-up each side.
I love how with ghost you can always easily tell what era it's from just from Papa's skull paint on the album cover (and also the general vibe of the song)
Yes I am confused why reviewers rate this song as least fave when this is by far the best structured song in the whole album with so much replay value in my opinion.

They played Dance Macabre a few years back on a local station.. I've been a member of the clergy since. Actually made me pick up my guitar again. Learning those riffs.🤘
.... best metal and most original band to come around in decades. At 46... I f'n LOVE this bands music. Amazing, They broke down walls for this 'genre' of metal... while inventing their own sound. Refreshing. 3 thumbs up.
This will never not be one of my absolute favorites. It just goes so hard. The rhythm makes you wanna get up and clap like your at a service, and Papa is preaching lol.
One has to admit that there is a enormous hype around Ghost from the beginning till now through, but in my opinion there is no other band which deserves it as much as Ghost! The new album will be spectacular from first to last!
I'm still very new to Ghost, but I find it strange (in a good way) that they've combined what are clearly Satanism-inspired lyrics with a sound that's more like 80s prog. It's a really refreshing combination.
I love the Beatles but ABBA is the GOAT for me personally, Tobias is the best songwriter from Sweden these days and i reckon when Ghost releases their last album (hopefully 50 years from now, or similar) Ghost will rival both those legendary bands discographies
Any bands to recommend? I like really heavy rock but metal's garbage singing and pathetic chug chug riffs have always turned me off. If more metal was like this, i'd listen a lot more
@@benthrasher9739 He's overcited and definetly an Oldie, but I really recommend Marilyn Manson. His Holy Wood album is also as grand and elegantly dark as Meliora, though it is a time piece so Ghost is definetly more fitting for right now. I know what you mean by nt wanting the same beat and growling over and over.
I keep coming back to this as the best speaker/bass crossover test I've ever heard. The song is my favorite on Meliora, but the mix is impeccable across most music
This is gonna sound insane... But just follow with me for a sec. Growing up evangelical, I was a huge fan of this musician Michael w. Smith. I loved his music. It was very 80s poppish rock and as I grew out and away from Xtianity, it felt weird to continue liking his music even though i still loved the music aspect of his clearly Xtian songs.... I found ghost and have found that quite a few of their songs give me the same nostalgic feel and sort of 80s pop-rock feel that Michael w. Smith always gave me with lyrical meanings that actually resonate with me as an adult. I am really grateful for this band. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.
This is without a doubt my favorite guitar riff of all time! Another thing, there haven't really been a lot of successful bands using the good old fashioned metal style but Ghost does it so well. With a lot of their covers they change it so much that you don't even know it's a cover until you look it up. So many things make Ghost such an amazing band.
I’m so thankful there’s still bands out here doing there thing I hard ghost little sunshine on the radio and I’ve been obsessed since then. Phenomenal band fantastic music. Metal is. Never gonna die.
Holy shit these guys took inspiration to the next level. God damn. Definitely one of the most interesting and talented bands in existence today. This gives me some serious Deep Purple vibes

Been bumping Ghost the last couple days, and I love their blue oyster cult sound. BÖC definitely had to be a huge influence on these guys. I see I'm not the only one who thinks it after scrolling through the comment section. That's a legendary band to be compared to. Rock on, Ghost

Ghost is undisputedly the best band of 2010's decade.
*century
@simcul dumb, dumb if you had a brain you'd know I was 'correcting' the response to imply Ghost is the best band of the century. Learn to read
I'd have trivium and ghost around each other
@simcul don't worry, he's the usual 10 years old trying to look as an adult
@simcul It looks like he means Ghost is "the best band of the century", (not of the "2010's century",) though.

Riktigt skönt sound, äntligen en musikgrupp med eget sound vilket är mycket sällsynt idag. Good feelings listening to Ghost. It`s simple, you just want moore and moore......
Enig, godt med et fresh pust
+P.W.I.M.H I see what you did there. :-)
Great intro with the organ. Much like an old deep purple jam.
The greatest band in the world. Cant wait for the new EP this Fall :)
Is it confirmed?
Yes, i think its September/October . The Popestar tour also kicks off to coincide with the release of the new EP
***** Aww congrats dude, that's awesome. Saw them myself last December in Glasgow. They were great. Cant wait to hear the new EP and see them again. Hope you have a great show. All the best!
What is an EP
+Intel5 Ohhh so they have an EP of meliroa?
As a huge fan, I am pissing my pants in anticipation..
They'll be an hour away in october, from where I live, and I unfortunately can't get a ticket.. Let's hope I can scrape up some money for one.
***** what if they don't have a job? That would make it a little impossible to come up with the money. I love lots of bands, but I can't always afford to go to their shows.
***** Thanks, bro.

I recently moved to the states, and I'm under adjustment of status, and well, that costs a lot of money.. Not allowed to work.
That sucks. =/ starwolffan13
How much are you short? I'd be glad to chip in and help you out.
I love the way they put songs together and how every time they have a new album it's totally original and different from anything else they've done. One of my all time favorite bands. Amazing.....
Been bumping Ghost the last couple days, and I love their blue oyster cult sound. BÖC definitely had to be a huge influence on these guys. I see I'm not the only one who thinks it after scrolling through the comment section. That's a legendary band to be compared to. Rock on, Ghost
It's so refreshing to get into a heavy band that's heavy without being heavy! As above..
