- While I was on the scooter, I have come across a food market that they just started to set up. So without thinking, I had to stop and checkout. Because these are the type of places I love about my travels. There are so much great food here that I cannot control myself - I constantly find myself eating 😁

The drinks : Tebu - sugar cane.
Kelapa - coconut.
Milo - a chocolate flavoured drink. It is sold in the shops and supermarkets in powdered form and then mixed with water and condensed milk.
Carrot susu - milk with carrot added to it.
Tembikai - water melon - Sweet memories in Iran.
Mata kucing - also known as longan - a Malaysian fruit with brown outer skin, white flesh that is sweet and has a black seed in it. (You can see it at the stall where you bought the mango - in the. little red plates).
Vanilla blue - milk with vanilla flavouring.
Sirap Laici - lychee drink. Lychee is a fruit from China.
Bandung cincau - bandung is a drink made with rose syrup and condensed milk. Cincau is the black grass jelly you had in KL where you had the laksa.
Jagung - the corn which you had at Penang yesterday. Enjoy your day

The Municipal or City Council workers cleaned up the areas after the Pasar Malam.
Without them..Msia will be very dirty!

Riding on a motorbike along the coastal road to Teluk Bahang's pasar malam (night market) to get my dinner is my favourite thing to do. You are lucky to find such a place for good food! Enjoy Malaysia!
That's how you should enjoy Malaysian street food. Ride a bike and just stop if you see something interesting that you'll like to try. Trust me, you'll definitely be eating a lot of great food. Enjoy! 😋✌️

Hi Davud. I guess your name is equivalent to David and in Malaysia, Singapore & Brunei, it's Daud (muslim version). I have looked up Azerbaijan which used to be part of USSR (now Russia). Correct me if I'm wrong. You are friendly and very generous too! You will be popular with the locals!

Dia ada upload video makan kat pasar malam ipoh, dia makan mee dll kat gerai makanan cina, dia tahu makanan disitu mengandungi b....... sebab di-beritahu oleh nyonya. I don't want to be judgemental, it's none of my business, live and let live I say. Dia berasal dari azerbaijan (next to turkey) but worked/lived in switzerland, I think. Azerbaijan used to be under russian communist rule so unsure if muslims were allowed to practise freely, most probably dah "diluted". When I made the comment re his name above, saya dapat jawapan contact dia kat telegram tapi saya tak layan, message tu dah hilang (hahaha mula2 saya ingat dia nak mengorat!). Welcome to Teluk Bahang, David. I like your enthusiasm for tasting new food wherever you go. The delicacy you have eaten is called PULUT PANGGANG in Malay which means grilled sticky rice. It is a very popular Malay kuih (cake). You will find these anywhere at Malay stalls.

Definitely the best way anywhere is by scooter. We just landed in Penang 2 day's ago and our accommodation came with a scooter 🛵. One month of exploring here then off to langkawi for 1 more month.
