It"s medically advisable for one's food to be less salty and not slightly salty in order to minimize the risk of building up a kidney stone(s). A slightly sour food using lemon juice is better since lemon juice does not cause to build up a kidney stone(s). Giving a small tip like a ringgit or telling to keep the small change is typically common in a restaurant, but giving a big, generous tip to a small street food vendor is applaudable to support a small business. You're now in Ipoh. You should have gone to Taiping first. It is a much smaller town but also with lots of food choices and so much easier to move around. There is also a beautiful Lake Gardens there

Been watching your vlog on and off... In Malaysia, you may want to ask them to reduce sugar/sweet for your next drink. Otherwise, all drinks will be like drinking sugar water.

The food you ate if you feel it’s not salty enough next time ask for soy sauce instead of salt and also it goes well with chilli sauce too. The uncle selling drink was nice too.
