I love my wet bath in my 1978 rv. It’s the reason why I bought it instead of other rigs. The first thing I did was take out my sink. My bath is next to the kitchen sink. Yours is much bigger than mine. And yes, I only use number 1 and no tp allowed. I have a spray bottle with water and pine sol that I spray a few times after I’ve gone and flush it again. Saves on extra water in my tank. To the point where I have shut my water off of to the toilet. I just don’t get people who spend six figures on rigs and still have to poop in a bucket that needs to be pulled out.
I had a proud camping moment last weekend that makes me appreciate my slow, vintage rv even more. I went to bed without heat and woke up shivering with a full bladder. It had dropped to 38 degrees! I got outta bed, turned on the heat and used the bathroom within a few minutes. It was so toasty by the time I crawled into bed that I smiled myself back to sleep. So much better than peeing outside with a pew pew or bear spray in the middle of the night. My camper is the best purchase I’ve ever made for $5000.

I have a wet bath in my camper and a cassette toilet. It's close quarters, but doable. I really like the cassette toilet. It's easier to manage and no black tank stuff.
Hubby & I have a 28 foot camper trailer. Our bathroom is fortunate enough to have a small tub with the shower. You know for those times of the month when the cramps just don’t get taken care of with just a shower. We have the ventilation in our bathroom. Our sink though is outside of the bathroom which I prefer because I don’t want my toothbrush anywhere near anyone pooping lol.
Unfortunately we only use our camper from May till mid September then it’s off to storage.
I’ve discussed with him about getting a smaller more compact one. We don’t mind pulling one with the truck. I’m all for a smaller more compact one. Whole point of us camping is to spend time outside & we don’t have the kids tagging along with us anymore. They visit but not for an entire season.
We have found that Angel soft toilet paper breaks down the same as the expensive rv toilet paper. Cheap and safe

Oh my goodness, the struggle is far too real. We made our bathroom a lot larger.... of course, it's in a converted school bus.

I like this wet/dry bath idea, this gives me the idea of somewhere down the road maybe I can redo mine. Not sure if I get that kind or just a flat walk in next to the toilet.
I really like the moving wall to keep your toilet, etc.dry when you shower. We have a wet bath that is small, but nothing gets in the way, fortunately. I wipe down the walls and toilet after showering and anything I don’t want getting wet has to be put outside in the hallway. In Australia we mostly have cassette toilets in vans, though some people go for a separating toilet now. We’ve used our toilet for no.2s, but it’s my job to empty it and I’ve just brought in the special toilet bags like the ones you use as a better option. I’m fine with it, my husband needs a bit more convincing so I’ve sent him your video to watch as I think you’ve done such a good job of explaining why. Like you, we put toilet paper in the rubbish rather than flushing it. So, thank you for such an entertaining video about your bathroom.

We have a 2006 Mallard travel trailer. It has a full bathroom so no wet bath. We also did some renos. New faucets on everything and new trim on the boarders. New fan in the bathroom. We don’t do #2 in ours either, it’s just cleaner and from a trailer point easier to clean. ❤

Great overview. Love our EKKO’s bathroom. The only challenge we have had thus far is keeping the wall on full shower mode. It always seems to want to swing back a little. I think I’ll be able to fix this with a magnet mod near the top. The curtain is also not waterproof, so a small amount of water seems to soak through. Yes, it dries quickly. We also added a short rubber dam along the bottom of pan at door opening to make sure the curtain stays inside the shower area.
All said, it’s an awesome design.

Had a tag along many years ago that had wet bath, a tiny one! I was pregnant with my son and had to rest my belly on the teeny, tiny sink to shower! But it served it's purpose! Now have tagalong with a small, reegular bath. We usually camp in state parks and use showers there but it is nice to have access to shower if weather is not good-rainy, chilly. We do appreciate the potty, especially in the middle of the night!

Good information.
Cornstarch sprinkled into socks with a little baby powder in socks before you put them on. Helps with smell. And drys out your feet. And helps with smell.

I love the wall that allows the shower to become a "dry" bath. We have a true wet bath and rarely use the shower or at least havent much so far. I think i would use it more if it had the wall. Great video!

You have a really cool design there. Are you keeping a bin on the back of the rig to stow the pooper trash until you reach a proper waste disposal? I have used a rubber made type of container on top of the mini van 🚐 when necessary. To keep stinky stuff sequestered in between stops. I have purchased an inflatable bathtub for my disabled son to use but it is way too small for me. So if I needed to wash up i use the bucket 🪣 and sit/stand on top of a trash bag with a towel to catch the drips.

I would not be thrilled with that type of toilet, always for 30years have had the black and gray tanks. The (8 Motorhomes), now a class C and have just dealt with dumping, a necessary evil but you get in a routine when traveling. I do love your shower set up although, have not seen a bigger one in any ClassB. Sorry but in my opinion, Winnebago just has the design team. Love your hair loose, gorgeous!
We have a truck camper and I hate the wet bath 😞. I have to keep the door open when I have to wipe because there’s no room to spread as you’ve noted 😂 and I’m so short that showering my knees are right at the toilet so I can’t turn around, etc. We may get a different TC that had a full bathroom but then it’s heavier to haul.

Speaking of Storm Poopers-where do you keep the litter box? That was an issue with one or more of our RV's.

Our camper van does really well in winter. We have an insta hot water heater so it gets hot very quickly. We don’t have to change our routine much in the winter. What did you think of our shower set up?

Protective styles but I’ve always been a castor oil and twist out. I also make my
own deep conditioners.

I don't have a wet bath, or a cassette toilet, but I do not put toilet paper in my toilet, I use biodegradable doggy bags, and tie up the toilet paper to be disposed. I use my toliet for both number 1 and 2
I have a wet bath in my class b and I never use it. The model I ordered had a window and the one I received (the dealer double sold my ordered van) the RV I received did not have a window in the bath... and I couldn't stand being in there. PLUS the nooks and crannies around the (wet ) toilet after a shower was impossible for me to dry... I am handicapped. Like you==and from what I've found most Class B owners== no one uses their toilets for anything but liquids (not even paper). You'd think the designers would listen but sadly, their objective is the bottom line.

I would shower in the campground bathhouse, but I know your not always at a campground,so you make do with what you have.

so when is that number 2 going to disappear from that plastic bag? in the soil it composts quick, but why they make plastic to put dog poop and this too, just makes me wonder... yeah it's convenient but at what costs... today saw somewhere that a diaper decomposes in 400 years

Hi Tracey , I have lived in CA my whole life- pls know before you move here we have the highest gas prices in US, plus they are planning to charge an additional 1$ per mile that you drive here ( it’s in the works) our taxes & cost of living is very high - Let’s of traffic…
We have the most homeless-
But the pros are : The weather is amazing!! If you buy in So CA within the same day you can hit up the beach , the mountains & the desert…

My daughter and hubby just got married recently, so we’re anticipating a new bundle of joy soon. I would move across the country to be with my new grand baby(ies). I work for some extremely wealthy people whose son can absolutely afford to live there because the garage apartment pays their mortgage, but even he knows that it’s no place to raise a kid, & with a second one on the way, his just accepted an offer on their house.

It doesn't look like there's room when you bend over in the shower to wash your legs & feet. How does that work for you?
Since you're mainly on the road all the time, eating at different places just about every night, what happens when you eat something that doesn't agree with your tummy and you have to visit the "5 gallon" toilet, about every 20 minutes or so ?? Five gallons won't be able to contain an intestinal disturbance !! 🤔🤢😵💫😳
Thank goodness we’ve been doing more cooking than eating out but if that happens we’d have extra camping poop bags ready to rock! 😂😂🙌
