- In this episode, I share our favorite recipe for chicken parmesan. This is incredibly delicious and easy to make. The secret isn't in the sauce on this one. The secret is the parmesan cheese and we use a lot of it. I didn't give exact portions in this recipe. Our portion size always changes but the RATIO OF 70% CHEESE TO 30% CRUMBS always remains the same so just follow this ratio and mix enough to coat the amount of chicken you plan to cook. Enjoy :-))

You cook the way my grandparents used to cook but with modern appliances they forgot how to (Grandparents born between 1900 and 1906). My wife was raised differently. They never forgot the "old ways". You didn't cook one meal, you cooked two or three. I'm surprised you didn't have a desert in the oven also!

Greetings from PEI!. That vid is a keeper!. Today I've got the woodstove on; cooking Sirloin Chops, dusted with my home made season salt, browned in a Carbon Steel frying pan, then two cans of mushroom soup, russet potatoes, my garden carrots and parsnip. All in a Lodge dutch oven, simmering on a trivet for about three hours.

Another great video. I make huge batches of chili in a giant stock pot and give half to my elderly Korean veteran neighbor and his wife, I think they have earned it. Thank you for taking time to film, edit and post this video.

Having pre-made freezer meals are the best! Busy day, in the middle of a project, don't need to worry about what to cook. Just pop in what you already spent time on and you have a home cooked meal without the stress or mess. I've been doing it for years that way and I'm always thankful that I did! Now I'm going to try it with just eggs as I have also been using a milk and egg combination which sometimes fails off. Thanks!

Can easily adapt for keto approval by crumbs being pork rinds (use handle crank cheese grater!) and use Rao's marina to sauce (low carb and no added sugar). Yum!

Raising my hand here ...to comment. 🤭 My mother was born & grew up in northern Italy. Italians live life around food. I grew up on Italian food. Different regions in Italy cook dishes differently, even within the same region. (Northern Italy uses a lot of beans in their regional recipe dishes. My mother made a bean & pasta soup that was so good....oh my!! Prosciutto: the north is less salty but the further south you go in Italy, it's so salty...). I cook what I like, adding more/less of something in a recipe. Recipes are just a starting point...in my opinion. I find most recipes don't add enough garlic (I add half/whole garlic, not just 1 piece). And desserts: vanilla extract (1-2 teaspoons? I add 2-3 tablespoons for my dessert's). 😊😊 For frying: I learned to fry using a combo of Olive oil & coconut oil -- works great for me. Keep well you two. Good video.

Oh my goodness! Sitting in my office, looking at it snogging rain outside, and thinking about the pot roast and luscious gravy I made yesterday - that will be tonight's dinner. But now I'm inspired all over to make some chicken parmesan. We've been on an Indian food kick - I bet you'd like Chicken Tikka Masala. I've learned so much about curries - they don't have to be blazing hot. I love cooking videos! Especially ones with doggy music tracks.

Hi Boss & Lori ! Thank you for bringing me joy. Your videos always makes me happy. They really do 😊 The food looked super good. I’m going to make that soon. Batch cooking is really the way to cook. You are cooking many meals basically once. It is a huge time saver. I take time and cut up onions, carrots and celery. I will keep a gallon size bag of each in my freezer. You want to make soup. Bam, veggies ready. Those 3 are usually the 3 basic vegetables. I get 10# of hamburger. Fry it all up at once. After straining off the fat. I put small amounts in the old school sand which bags with the flap. ( they are cheap ) Then put all the little bags in a big freezer bag. Which can be used again. So easy to throw a meal together on a week night. And you are cleaning up the greasy mess just once. I cooked for a living many years. So many ways to make jobs easier. 🙂 God’s blessings .

I got a recipe from ur channel years ago involving pork loin, diced tomatoes n green peppers. Still use it and love it! I will be giving this one a try as well. With the weather doing a yo yo trick this winter I'm spending more time cooking n watching the birds at the feeder. 50 here in Erie County PA 2moro so I'm firing up the charcoal n making ham steaks on the grill from last falls pig.
