Pretty new to this drone stuff but years of pro photography experience including steadycam haha. Does dji have a ronin system that can accept the zenmuse x7 (or any zenmuse) for handheld stabilized footage. I would find it useful to fly the inspire drone for exteriors but then pull the gimbal and camera assembly onto rig for interior filming. I’d much rather use the same camera so the footage has similar qualities.
I just passed my part 107... As far as aerial work, not sure what direction I wanna go with it just yet. I do have a current and steady day job, but I would like to make a career out of this someday. With that said would this drone be right for me, if I want to do create aerial landscape photography or commercial real estate photography? Is this like the 4x4 of all drones?
Kinotika, In order to save some money and get the VERY best image quality on a budget does it make any sense to get the Inspire 2 with an X7 camera with a Cinessd and buy the license of Pro Res and Cinema DNG down the road. Thanks for the video. Dave
Is this neccesary to have a super end computer for converting the raw vedios made on x5s or x7s????? Or normal computer can do the task??? Need ur guidance
Dear great and informative vedio. I have some question. Kindly give me satisfied answer. (DJI Inspired 2 is my dream) 1. Im not a profesional man, not related to any documentry maker, film maker or youtube vedio etc. But because of high feature of this drones im really excited to buy this drone. So my question is "Can a non-Professional man can buy this drone???" (I have learned in depth about dji inspired 2) 2. Only FPV camera transmitted vedio to ur screen??? Or Zenmus X5s or X7s also transmit??? 3. 428 GB CINE SSD vedio capacity base on time limit? I mean how much capacity it will required for 20 mints or 30 mnts so and so????
1. The inspire 2 is very easy to fly even if you’re a beginner. 2. The FPV camera AND the X5s or X7 transmit. 3. Their is no ssd time limit. It’s all based on what recording mode you select and how much battery power you have in the drone.
Great Vid! Can you comment more about why this would't be a viable option as a ground camera? The only things that come to mind are autofocus (which you mentioned), lack of ability to film "handheld" style (every shot is a gimbal assisted), as well as a general awkwardness due to its size and shape. What about filming indoors? Does it produce a lot of ambient heat or noise? I'm planning on committing to a professional camera solution this year, and am debating on getting a decked out inspire 2 as opposed to something that is ground only like a BlackMagic URSA Mini. I'm leaning towards going all-in with the inspire 2 but am curious what other insight you might be able to provide. Thanks and keep up the great content!
It just simply isn't designed for it so its not super convenient...but the image quality is more than good enough and if you could mount the monitor and controller on top of the drone somehow I guess you could operate it yourself...its just not the right tool.
Great vid. How much better is the X7 over the X5s? I'm about to purchase the Inspire 2 after doing my apprenticeship on the Phantom 2/3/3pro/4 and P4P. I mainly shoot documentaries.
huh? in the air (and in person) it is BIG...certainly compared to the mavic/phantom series. it's form factor is way not aerodynamic and has trouble in adverser wind conditions. batteries are way too expensive and have failed in many instances. that's all I could stomach before clicking away.
Some cons are bad propellers that rattle or sound like a bad bearing. Recently gimble balls are falling off, no flir besides third party, fpv is pretty bad footage wise if your going with an x7 better get leg extensions or have your 1500$ lens hit the ground an it's far from portable especially when you have 7 to 10 sets of batteries. Other than that it's a great aircraft just some things to check an sweat about
In reality it tops out at around 61 mph. 70 mph like the 4.2 mile claimed range isn't achievable. Over a mountain lake on a windless day I managed to get 2.4 miles before the video feed started to break up. It is a fantastic drone but it isn't as fast as DJI claims it is.
All good reasons except price. Not worth it. I specced out a full package for $15K; better off renting it and purchasing a used ARRI. Can you just mount the X7 to a Ronin S stabilizer? That would be worth it.
Dude! Thanks for breaking it down for the newbies and not getting all technical! I have a Mavic and Phantom 4 Pro and don’t understand anything but SD card to computer. Simplicity! Am I really missing out on anything???
if I was to say a few negative things about my Inspire 2, is the quality of the FPV. once you get into more professional shoots, the duel operation becomes a must, and it works okay, but it could be better, hoping the inspire 3, they will improve the FPV. also the prop mounts could be a little better, but over all, this bird is a fantastic machine. once you experience this, its hard to go back to anything else...one more thing, this bird uses lightbridge to connect, Ocusync is a much better system, the Mavic Pro uses Ocusync and the connection is far superior, the rumor is.. Lightbridge has been phased out, and all future birds will use Ocusync.
Is this neccesary to have a super end computer for converting the raw vedios made on x5s or x7s????? Or normal computer can do the task??? Need ur guidance
Ehhh you don’t need one... it’ll just take longer if you don’t have a good computer to convert it. Proxy footage is always an option for slower machines.
Is it possible to mount the X7 gimbal at the cheapest model of the inspire 2
Nice points. Well presented.
can u list out best drone for civil survey gis mapping

For that style of shooting definitely look at the freefly Alta series. It uses the MoVI M5 which can go on and off the drone with ease.
should i make FAA license for inspire 2 ? i live in california
I have Mavic 2 pro too it isn't any big different between both
Ya you really should do that.

Zenmuse X4S how is that camera, I'm planing on using it for nature type videos. Personal usage.
I'm not sure about the X4S, we have the X5S and it works great! X7 is of course better, but the X5S is amazing
its same with P4P if u don't want 360 feature of inspire then get P4P else u can consider I1 with X5. I2 with X4S is useless

How small does it pack down to?
Ehhh not so small. But you can get a backpack from Lowepro!

Can you fly the drone in fpv, without the main camera fitted? If so without the extra weight of the lens how fast and for how long will it fly???
Yup. Idk nothing really and about 30 minutes
Trevor Gale u can, but the FPV camera is SO bad..... it makes it difficult to even fly it’s so bad
would have been great to actually show these features...
Love the I2 X7 combo. Still saving up for the "License" for higher quality.

Honestly, it’s great, but I’d say save the cash and just get the 5S. It’s still an amazing camera and it’s much cheaper.
Go with the x5s 12 an 45mm Olympus prime lens my opinion
awesome video bro...keep going..great explenations ..i like ur videos.really appreciates
Thank you so much! Glad to have you part of the fam!

Yooo this was an awesome run through. Big ups guys!
Thanks!
Great battery life? Man I am lucky to get 18 to 19 mins, real lucky

Nice video 👌🏻
Thank you OLY!

Thank you for your comment and for sharing your experience. I’ve only done minor tests so glad you let us know that!
It does go at that speed. I didn't have any issue getting those speeds
All good reasons except price. Not worth it. I specced out a full package for $15K; better off renting it and purchasing a used ARRI. Can you just mount the X7 to a Ronin S stabilizer? That would be worth it.
It’s a weird thing really but the I2 with X7 is quite powerful
no you can't as the x7 records to ssd and has no internal storage or sd card slot
Dude! Thanks for breaking it down for the newbies and not getting all technical! I have a Mavic and Phantom 4 Pro and don’t understand anything but SD card to computer. Simplicity! Am I really missing out on anything???
No! Honestly the P4 Pro is the greatest deals ever for a professional drone right now. Inspire 2 is really for the high end

Wow!!! Great great comment! Thank you for posting! Amazing info there and I hope I3 addresses those needs you have.

Thans for kind information sir.
You really very great and loving person.
All of ur vedios is really admirable
