@@tupingshen7852 I seen some comparison footage with the Inspire 2 X7 and the Inspire 1 RAW and on the small screen it was hard to distinguish the difference. However, the I2 is a much more refined piece of kit.
Great work Billy. I just got the Inspire 2. I am having a problem downloading the assistance program to calibrate the drone. I have the latest Mac desktop and I just can’t load the program. It downloads everything until the very end and some thing is still not working for me. DJI support is giving me hell. They don’t know shit can you please help me!!!
Cool Video. I have the teeny Spark and its fun. Inspire might be a bit out of my range. Your camera sensor is a bit dirty in the footage of the drones.
Most of the Unique features you mentioned have been available even on the lowest level of Yuneec drones. They have their problems, of which a ridiculously unfocused marketing program is one of them, but their designs are excellent. I would much rather fly my Typhoon H, than my Phantom 4 pro, even though the Phantom camera blows it out of the water. At least I know it will be available when I need it without asking DJI for permission to take off. I think the biggest positive about the Inspire is the capability to put some pretty high level cameras on it. I think the Xdynamics is shooting for that market but should have had some camera options available before putting that expensive drone on the market. Yuneec had a great opportunity with the 920 but completely fumbled it (it could fly full size cameras for cheap). Still it has a Panasonic Lumix GH4 with 3X zoom as it's standard and can be picked up for cheap ($2500). I couldn't own one though, my wife would beat me to death with it if I spent any more on drones....lol
LOL, just tell the wife you're buying a Matrice 600, Ronin-s gimble and a RED camera. When you get out of hospital, there might be some room for negotiation!
So my personal experience with Yuneec. 1. We received one brand new and on the 4th flight a motor quit working. Sent it in, they said ohh nothing is wrong with it. Sent it back, we filmed us taking it out of the box, took it up and within 30 seconds the motor fails .......again. So it was sent back to them again with the video we shot. 2. Our company sent us a Yuneec to borrow in the meantime while ours was being repaired. The very first flight, take it up to 200ish feet. Fingers off the controls waiting on people to move out of the flight path, we hear something hit the trees and my coworker said that wasn't the drone was it? I said no, because the screen was still showing it hovering and when I looked back, black screen. So 2 pretty much brand new Yuneec drones and both fail. We said we wouldn't fly them anymore. That's just been my experience, and it left a bad taste in my mouth.
I think every volume drone manufacturer can suffer with quality issues. It's the same if you build one yourself. The parts just aren't up to the quality we need as pilots. Yuneec are no different from anyone else. I'm disappointed to see the turn-around time was so great. Drones are an expensive business to get going and maintain. To have an airframe out of use for so long can be devastating.
Only have the M2P but, watching your video makes me want the Inspire 2 for sure! By time I have the $$ saved up they will probably have the Inspire 3 out, least I can hope. You and Originaldobo make the best videos hands down.
I'm right with ya Al! Im picking up my Inspire 2 this week but I just got my Mavic 2 Pro a few days ago and I'm just blown away by it! So far I like it more than the Phantom as well! Its hard to imagine anything could be better at the moment.
Right there with you too. Still use my I2 for bigger commercial work where I have a second operator but for all solo work I've been using my M2P. my favorite thing about it is how quiet it is.
Good review but only mentioned the positives, where are the negatives? You mentioned the hot swappable battery but left out how long it last for both full charge batteries (12 mins).
Car commercials can only really be done with an Inspire 2. This was one of the reasons I got an Inspire 2, I just couldn't do any commercial work with cars on my Phantom 4. The Inspire 2 feels more solid in the air. I flew a Matrice recently in training, and it does not feel any more solid in the air than an Inspire 2, but there is a lag between giving an input, and the drones response. You almost have to have a Hang Glider pilot mentality when flying a Matrice.
Great video Billy! I'm headed down to Kentucky Monday to pick up my Inspire 2 with the Zenmuse X5S camera! I've been wanting to get the Inspire 2 since last summer and your enthusiasm for this bird as well as Ken Heron's definitely helped "Inspire" me to get the unit. ⚠️ Huge Question for Inspire 2 owners… For use by a volunteer fire department in a suburban area for search & rescue , how does the Inspire 2 compare to the Mavic-2 zoom and Air-2s models? Mostly in terms of range (RC and video transmission) I would love to be able to replace the tx/rx radio gear with a high quality 400mhz or 900mhz frequency range equipment. I definitely notice better range with the Air-2s (OccuSync 3) vs the Mavic 2 (OccuSync 2) Thanks!
Why does every shot lag a little? I’ve seen this in a lot of drone footage. It looks like about every 2 seconds, the footage skips forward a bit instead of smoothly continuing forward. I’m considering buying one of these but the skipping forward is kind of jarring. Is that just something you have to accept with DJI?
It's a framerate issue with the edited video being set at 30fps, but featuring drone footage at 24fps. If you set the drone to record in your desired framerate and make sure you export you edited video in that same framerate, then there will not be frame skipping or repeating. Honestly I'm not a huge fan of 24fps for drone footage so I keep both my drone footage and my edits at 30.
Billy Kyle I hear inspire 3 is on the way and that it may be comparable with the smart controller with a bit better range, which translates into better connection around the kind of stuff we inspect (cell towers) . I’m holding off for that. The price is not really a factor because I can take it off my taxes as a business expense so the government wii end up buying it fo me. I wold like to have one.
would you still consider this drone at the top of the market?because i looked at the sensor specs and it 20 mega pixels while the autel evo pro has like 48 mega pixels?
@@user-bp5tg3yd3d It depends on what you want to use it for. If you just taking photos perhaps not. For filming yes definitely due to the x7 camera and lens choices. Anyways..keep up the good work. Looking forward to the next one 🤙🏼
would you still consider this drone at the top of the market?because i looked at the sensor specs and it 20 mega pixels while the autel evo pro has like 48 mega pixels?
Not sure I agree with your comment about the speed helping with battery life. More power to the motors equals faster battery drain. But it does have the plus sides - getting from one shooting location to another quickly to capture the shot needed, or getting back quickly for a battery change and back to where you want to film. Tracking a moving shot, as you showed with the train is a great example of where the speed of this device is a great boon. Before anyone asks, yes, I do own one.
I have to agree, the old adage is the best camera to use is the one you have with you. Perhaps the best drone to have is the one that can get that camera in to position as quickly as possible to take that shot?
would you still consider this drone at the top of the market?because i looked at the sensor specs and it 20 mega pixels while the autel evo pro has like 48 mega pixels?
It's a great 'go to' airframe, and a good addition to anyone's kit working in the UK with a PfCO. I'd go so far to say it's what most PfCO operators in the UK use on a daily basis. A fantastic bit of kit, it has the speed, interchangeable cameras and a good flight time on a battery set. But it's not the only tool that should be in your box...
Great video billy been watching you from day one! My son and I get great laughs! We learn with you! And have so much fun ! Especial when we do not agree
Descent speed might not be set to the max by default in an attempt to minimise the risk of creating a vortex ring state in the drone: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vortex_ring_state
Alternatively you could shoot the footage from ground to air and reverse the vid. That train footage is bad ass. Does the inspire have the 500m altitude limit ? The inspire scares me after seeing that vid where it chops a ladies face. Ick. I have been hit with the mavic blades in both the stock and low noise ones. The stock made internal bleeding without breaking the skin. The low noise made multiple slices in that brief touch and bled for minutes hahahah. But I digress.
Any type of propellers will mess you up. These props are about the size of my forearm so they would definitely hurt! Just like all DJI drones it does have the built in height limit.
Billy Kyle I remember seeing my first inspire in action when I wasn’t into drones and it was awesome and also scary at the same time. Something that big just hovering around. Reminded me of a drone in Oblivian movie. I’m not sure if I would ever get an inspire. It’s just the mobility. There are times I would carry a mavic with no intention on shooting any footage. I like that feeling.
Ultimate accessory: does it float? Also, it should have a minimum altitude setting/lock to keep it from crashing into the ground on a rapid descent. Also, just tell us what you're going to tell us. Don't tell us what you're NOT going to tell us. Otherwise, I learned a lot.
You left out the unique part of "terrible, horrible, and disturbing" DJI Customer Service.. especially when your $6,000 drone mysteriously disappears mid flight and found two days later in pieces by local police after it slammed into a casino. But other than that.. yeah it was a cool drone with some cool features.
@@billykyle Billy, is that message bellow is your? Did i won something? By the way - i know people who use Inspire 2 to deliver food and batteries for their team mates in Ukraine. For those who are getting bombed by ruski artillery .... :D New and very good way on how to use inspire 2!

Informative but too much of a sales pitch and not enough of a honest review. When you add the link to purchase one you kind of lose some credibility because you're going to profit if we buy it, so you probably wouldn't reveal important faults / limitations
Wasn’t a review at all and those links are included in ever video I upload. Why would I focus on anything negative with the title clearly indicates I will be talking about 10 positive things?
@@billykyle Because, When you include the links you seem to be suggesting that people should buy the product but why would anyone want to buy the product when you only give them half the story, the positive half? The way you did this video it's kind of like a promotion that DJI would put out and everybody would know that it's a biased sales pitch. People don't expect to see that from somebody that's not clearly representing the company. That was my impression for whatever it's worth, take it or leave it...
If someone watched this video and wanted to order and Inspire 2 they could find it on DJI’s website in less than 30 seconds. The links provided in my video are used for a coincidence factor.
@@billykyle When you used the word persuaded maybe I read too much into it. Do you get any fee if people click on your link to purchase the gear? It seemed like you were trying to sell the Drone not just talk about it and maybe I was wrong but I thought that you wouldl be compensated if people clicked on your link and made a purchase. If the links really are just a convenience then I was wrong about that part
In DJI assistant on the computer there is a hack that I've used to make my mavic Pro go 45 miles an hour, ascend at 22 miles an hour. And descend at about 15miles an hour.... I guarantee you if you look it up on UA-cam you can do this with other DJI drones using this hack very easy..

wait how would rare obstacle avoidance help in the ocean did you crash into a sailboat or something ? and I use Mavice 2 zoom to inspect roofs and do social media stuff for my company and I dont trust the obstacle avoidance at all that thing is unrealiable at best
@@Ithzzz Reversed into a cliff, won't do that again, my spotter was asleep as we drove 12hr's to get to the shoot.

Can anyone tell me if the Inspire 2 has RTK capability?
Inspire 2 does not
I’ve been a follower of yours for a while now & this is one of my favs!! I have an inspire 2 as well and use it all the time on my Yacht shoots down here in south Florida.
You spoke about accessories at the end..would love to see a vid on the ssd card, shooting in pro res and how big of a difference it is & if it’s even worth the upgrade.
Anyways..keep up the good work. Looking forward to the next one 🤙🏼
Awesome Eric! Thanks a ton for the comment. Shooting yachts sounds fun😁
Chasing boats makin money. If your ever down here..look me up. We’ll get ya on board.
Check my insta out @Voyage_photography_inc
would you still consider this drone at the top of the market?because i looked at the sensor specs and it 20 mega pixels while the autel evo pro has like 48 mega pixels?
Checkout course lock!
@A J I think you must have the wrong comment 🤔🤣
And yea, we have inspire 2 drones!
@A J What are you on about A J?
@A J 🤣 say what you want mate... have a great evening!!
Hey! It's the King's Park psych center!!!
Yes, getting somewhere 20% faster is killer :)
I have to agree, the old adage is the best camera to use is the one you have with you. Perhaps the best drone to have is the one that can get that camera in to position as quickly as possible to take that shot?
Love the Inspire 2! Well done Billy!!

Great Video and I LOVE MY Inspire 2.
Awesome! Thanks for watching David
After letting your video sink in this is huge!
Descent speed might not be set to the max by default in an attempt to minimise the risk of creating a vortex ring state in the drone: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vortex_ring_state
Definitely a drone I'd like to own.
Thanks Billy
Billy! WHAT do you do with all of your drones - except UA-cam videos? :-)
Fly them?
very informative

Kings park insane asylum is pretty fun to explore, but I never thought of bringing my drone there
7:23 this shot is sick
Thanks! One of my favorites.
Billy, have you run into the red prop problem that’s been documented all over? If so, how do you deal with it? Great video as usual!
7:41 watch out man, mr Inspire almost lost his life
Can you live stream with this drone !????!?!?!
Shit man you’re so talented on camera. thanks for this vid!
LOVE my i2P!
Please HD Video
You need to colour grade
Really disappointed you missed the most important fact! It the shutter is 30seconds other DJI drones only have 8 seconds
Not sure that’s the most important. At least not to me.
The battery’s setting goes down to 7% before auto landing that is huge as well
All these videos comparing drones and no one ever says inspire 2 has a 30second shutter to me game over on that one
davidjay amazing kite surfer peterson Not sure why you would want a 30 second exposure on a drone?
also you can escape and hide from Police if you fly in National Park
Hot swaping batteries while drone is active - It's a no go. YOU CAN"T DO THAT ANY MORE
You can when it’s on the ground
@@billykyle Billy, is that message bellow is your? Did i won something? By the way - i know people who use Inspire 2 to deliver food and batteries for their team mates in Ukraine. For those who are getting bombed by ruski artillery .... :D New and very good way on how to use inspire 2!
except it costs £8000
Who has $4000 to spare on the DJI inspire to because I know this I work at a job that doesn't pay me as much as anyone else who makes enough income to be able to afford their bills and their apartment😑😭😔🤨🤔
7:41 this gives me anxiety.
Informative but too much of a sales pitch and not enough of a honest review. When you add the link to purchase one you kind of lose some credibility because you're going to profit if we buy it, so you probably wouldn't reveal important faults / limitations
It's not a review, did you read the title? C'mon man
Wasn’t a review at all and those links are included in ever video I upload. Why would I focus on anything negative with the title clearly indicates I will be talking about 10 positive things?
@@billykyle
Because, When you include the links you seem to be suggesting that people should buy the product but why would anyone want to buy the product when you only give them half the story, the positive half? The way you did this video it's kind of like a promotion that DJI would put out and everybody would know that it's a biased sales pitch. People don't expect to see that from somebody that's not clearly representing the company. That was my impression for whatever it's worth, take it or leave it...
If someone watched this video and wanted to order and Inspire 2 they could find it on DJI’s website in less than 30 seconds. The links provided in my video are used for a coincidence factor.
@@billykyle
When you used the word persuaded maybe I read too much into it.
Too much talk for a camera with 20MP - Nonsense.
