    At that trolling speed? Are running wire leader? Wouldn’t mono or flouro break?

    You guys are awesome, I could watch thousands of hours of your videos. Your entire brand is next level.
    I'm South African but lived in Seychelles since 2016. Fishing has been my absolute passion since the age of 4 years old.
    Is there another way in which I could communicate with you? Thanks!

      It's always been a dream to be apart of such an incredible brand especially branching into my biggest passion.
      Quick question: is there anything we can do to get a DTX 200 to swim correctly again? I've caught 2 wahoo on it, no obvious signs of damage besides a few scratches and gashes. I've rerigged the snoot, hooks and split rings all still straight. The lip has not a single scratch on it.
      I tried it on a different day, different speed but it pulls to the left and shoots out the water.
      I understand nothing is meant to last forever and these lures get a hiding but is there anything we can try?
      Thank you.

    How are you rigging this? Wind on leader?

    • @NomadTackle
      @NomadTackle  Рік тому

      Prototype hollowcore braid was used during this trip. Windon leader would also work.

    What size reels and line were you using?

      Penn 30W 100lb Panderra braid

    what size reel min is needed? Since you don't use heavy trolling sinkers would Tyrnos 50W be enough?

    • @NomadTackle
      @NomadTackle  Рік тому +1

      Sure would be. DTX180HD and MadscadAT have less drag than a deep diving DTX like the DTX200.

      Dude a 50w will troll anything. 65-80lb braid on a 50w nothing in the sea is spooling you. You can troll madscads on a 30w 65lb braid and 30-50ft 100lb mono top shot. Don’t even need a bent butt like you do on a 200-220 DTX.

    Do you troll with braid or mono?

    • @NomadTackle
      @NomadTackle  Рік тому

      All braid with 20ft of mono leader for shock absorbsion. Gets the lures deeper!
