Kaede not using the first blood perk just to see her "friends" faces when they face despair when they all get executed for choosing Shuichi as the culprit.
What i see this as is as Shuichi's execution is being locked in a room tied and he starts having illusions about everyone dying and there's Kaede who killed them all, the one he trusted most. I'm not sure how he would die tho, i think that would be the torment.
Ok but why is nobody talking about how Shuichi had to experience WAAAAY more trauma when he died since Kaede did the exact same stare and pose of the guy he arrested, which Shuichi has stated to be the reason he holds back his detective abilities.
If you are wondering why her eyes look like that is because its referencing a past trauma shuichi had, on the first he had case the eyes of the culprit stared at him traumatised him i think
