Arne and Carlos you invite us all into your beautiful home every week and we all laugh with you. I am an elderly lady and you keep me company and make me laugh.
I have severe arthritis and knitting the English way is painful so I followed your knit the Norwegian way and now I can knit all day long. Thank you. Love you guys

Hysterical. I visited a yarn store in Utah called Blazing Needles. They asked what was my current project. I said Arne and Carlos Christmas balls. They told me you visited their store and were nicer and funnier in person. The owner of Blazing Needles had such wonderful stories about your visit to the shop. Your Sit and Knit for a Bit is the highlight of my week during the pandemic. I’m curious about the beautiful tea mugs. They are stunning. You guys are the best.

I’ve made 22 of your quarantine blocks! It’s been a nice project during these past few months. Today I strung all the blocks up as a banner in my craft(yarn, loom) room. It’s so cute! I will view these as I weave on my loom and remember how much you two have given the knitters during this pandemic. Thank you for giving us laughter and joy with this channel and beautiful patterns to knit!

I am a few weeks behind watching you. I am sitting this morning with my coffee and I'm sewing the binding on a quilt. The yarn you dyed is gorgeous! I cracked up at your knickers conversation. I love just sitting and hearing you talk about your lives, your plans, etc. Have a wonderful day!

It is so contagious when Arne laughs, I had a really good laugh today. I love these podcasts, just the two of you talking to each other is so much fun. Because I am alone now it is so nice to feel like I'm visiting with friends, it helps ease the pain of losing my husband for a bit so thank you so much. I finished the back of my Thorvald sweater and now I am working on the front. It is coming along beautifully and I love the pattern. I'm just really concerned about seaming it at the end. I always manage to make a mess of things during finishing and I don't know what I do wrong. I will be looking at lots of videos on UA-cam before I do it. Maybe you could do a video in the future about seaming up a sweater. Until next time, hugs from Maryland.

Great episode again, guys! Carlos, you weren’t rude ... I find those people incredibly demanding and ungrateful, I’ve also seen the same type of people get angry with Brendon Kirk from Linen and Threads who gives away a huge cross stitch sampler every year (monthly stitch-along) and people get rude and demanding - you have to be firm with them. And - apparently you CAN be funny each week ... I sit and stitch and laugh along. Love to you both 💙💙

Today’s podcast was hilarious. I was beginning to wonder if you had been smoking the old “ Jamaican Woodbine”. I never expected to be educated on birth control for poodles on your channel. You should just keep the informal format as it is and just be yourselves. You have so much going on in your lives and can talk about incidental things like e.g the arrival of your indigo yarn and future projects you’ve got planned.your fans will have seen the previous podcast in Lofoten when you were learning of the dye process so it was great to see the finished yarn.I am in the middle of making a fourth pair of your slippers and steadily working my way through the collection. I have not laughed so much in a long time and had to abandon my knitting for a while as I was on a heel and kept losing count. I wouldn’t risk airing your beautiful white cable socks in the garden overnight with that pesky fox on the loose. I have visions of him cavorting around your garden wearing them. By the way your new Nordic unisex collection is stunning. I personally love the green sweater but they are all lovely. It was great to see you both looking so well and in high spirits.❤️

Truth be told, I’m procrastinating about making some beautiful knitted baskets, but I’ve never used DPNs, which this pattern requires. I've been laughing so hard that my sides are aching. I like the way you guys have laughed and joked on these two episodes and the ones that you used during the lockdown. You're worth it.

Happy birthday Carlos and thank you for your generosity and Joie de Vivre. I loved the box and knitted stockings. Knickers were originally short trousers (knickerbockers) in the 19c and only became women’s underwear in the 20c. An Icelandic friend told me that she can understand both old English and Norwegian because they have the same root as Icelandic., so we have much more in common than we realised🥰

I love your new Sit and Knit for a bit videos! You guys are really hilarious and I love your honesty Carlos - life is too short to be mean. I love hearing about all your life in general and love to visualise the hunky Rob 😂😂!!! I need one of those for my garden! Keep well Arne and Carlos and thank you for giving your precious time to make these wonderful videos- they are gifts to us all 🥰🥰

Started my day off with a big smile which I very much needed thank you!! I love this dogma style sit and knit. I love seeing your humours and personalities comes through more it feels more personal and like Im sitting on your porch with you having coffee/tea. You should do a double sided cardboard cutout for rob. One side is Carlos one side is Arne that way you both can have enjoyment

Arne: i have an idea for when i get old...
Carlos: (how do i break the news to him?)
you two are awesome! as for the format, i like this casual chat. your tutorial videos have a structure that suits a teaching atmosphere, but this "sit and knit for a bit" feels like having a coffee/tea break with friends. i like that, and a lot of folks would probably appreciate such a thing these days, as social contact has become a rare commodity.

You may consider posting a warning about the hazards of enjoying coffee/tea while watching “Sit and Knit for a Bit”. I nearly choked on my coffee laughing when you talked about your pup’s “chastity belt” and the bit about the knickers . Even at the very end, your lawn hunk Rob had me laughing!
In all seriousness, you both exude warmth, kindness, wit and humor and are such a pleasure to spend time with. I also love that you mentioned my LYS, Uncommon Threads Yarn and the wonderful owner, Stephanie!
Thank you for your positivity, humor and creativity during these crazy times!

I love the podcast. You both are so funny. Thank you for taking the time to be with us. I am a dog lover, so I enjoyed seeing Helmer. I had a Norwegian uncle named Helmer!!! Your flowers make your setting so beautiful. You can talk about your garden and your food and sewing along with the knitting. I also enjoy your animal stories. I have a lot of wildlife in my backyard too. I live in Maryland. We had a visit from a Bald Eagle recently! I love it all. You are such great guys! Thanks again!

I always love your videos whether it's a tutorial, podcast or knit along. You give us patterns and knitting tips all the time. Some of which have changed how I knit or create patterns myself. I love hearing about Norway (I'm almost 100% Norwegian but I live in USA). It must have been quite drastic conditions for my ancestors to leave that beautiful country for sure, because all I can think is "when can I go to Norway" to see for myself. I appreciate all you do for us. And Arne, your grandmother was a fabulous teacher for you. You were very lucky to have her. Not one person in my family knows how to knit so I had to learn the hard way - other people and trying to figure out written patterns. I really loved seeing other parts of Norway in your on the road videos. Thank you Thank you!

Oh my gosh, you guys were hilarious! Love the banter between both of you, it's like being in your company. The time just flew by! Your style is so refreshing - the "dogme" style is the way to go, in my eyes.
I so enjoyed the surroundings. I could almost smell the rain....I really liked seeing the beautiful flowers swaying in the breeze behind you and the glimpse of the pile of wood next to Arne added to the charm.
Thank you for coming up with yet another beautiful pattern. I just LOVE the Norwegian butterfly. Thank you for all that you do.

You are so funny...love your podcast and can't wait for more. I am so interested in your costuming, for years I sewed historical costuming here in the US. There was a Historical park here that showed pioneer life in this part of Virginia, c. 1800's that I clothing for. I also would recreate clothing from old photo's from the 1800's--I know our history here doesn't got back as far but I LOVE researching and understanding historical clothing.
