I heard the old lady ditched her needlepoint, got a face lift and a sports car and is now living on a Greek island with a much younger friend. Their neighbor is Helen from the Nancy Drew series.

One time you guys showed some pillows done in giant cross stitch done with yarn. They were pansies. Are the patterns for sale? Do you know which episode it was in? I want to make some. I would like to listen to it again.

A & C, I'm not sure when I watched the pom pom video, but it was delightful!
Here in the US, we had a 3-day weekend for Memorial Day, so many of us had various activities to attend and our usual weekend schedules got upended.
If ever I don't see you listed on UA-cam, I blame them first.
So, I think you shouldn't worry because your fans won't give up so easily. I've been listening to reruns when I need some Arne and Carlos energy and cheerful creativity.
Good luck with the home repair project and the garden! Thanks for all you give!!💙🐾

Well, you've got me reading Nancy Drew. I gave quite a few to my daughter when she was younger (39 now) and some were thrift store finds and some were new. Enjoying them and realizing my daughter never read them. Her loss. Reading Nancy is like watching Poirot, different time, different place. It's our own time machine. Love watching and learning about you and Norway.

I have to say finding Arne and Carlos is the best thing that came out of lockdown. It would now be weird if I didn't have them popping into my life once or twice a week for a chat whilst I potter around doing my thing.

With the cats... Make a weighted doorstop out of them. Make a silhouetted pillow, place a brick in the bottom, and then, stuff it. If you need a doorstop. Can't believe how light it is there. I'm kind of a workaholic, knitting into the early morning--I think I'd never get to sleep if I lived there. Thank you for this podcast--very fun! --KateColors

Here on the west coast of Canada we have also gone from cold and rainy to hot and sunny very quickly. We Canadians love to talk and complain about the weather as well. It’s too hot, too cold, too humid, too dry... it’s always something. 😉. Your setting today was beautiful and peaceful. I think that working in your garden will be very helpful in your continued healing, Carlos. Physical and meditative at the same time.
Arne, when you said that passing a Thrift Store wakes you up I almost snorted my tea! You need to give a warning!!!
I watched the Pom poms on Sunday with no issue. I hope that lots of your loyal followers will find it.

I couldn't stop watching the background, with the calm, placid waters, the forest, and the colours of the sky. Loved hearing the birds chirp. It gave me a sense of calm.
It's always so interesting to hear you both recap the previous week's events. It's fun to watch Arne slowly unearth his treasure finds. The second pillow is just gorgeous. He got it done so fast!!
I'm glad you finally got some nice weather. Hope there are many more bright and sunny days ahead of you.

Yes it is aubergine in the UK. Our language is so confusing for you because of the differences between UK and US English and everyone would know what you meant anyway. Thank you for these podcasts - I really look forward to them. I did manage to see the Poodle video as well on Saturday. Sounds like I was lucky.

The current finished one is so nice. And I like the kitties, probably not to hang on the wall but they will make a nice pillow. Carlos, I was afraid of of cats as a child. Then we adopted one ... oh, now I love kitties so much. They are so funny! I love dogs too.

The story of the bird flying in front of the camera as if saying 'can you see me here? I am locked in house!' Enjoyed your podcast as usual. When you were talking about lumber prices, they are high here in the US as well. I guess everyone was home and decided to work on their homes which drove the prices up. Loved your new polar bear.so adorable and just to let you know the English word for that tool you bought is a pie crimper. Enjoy your summer.

I really like this sit and knit... The summer impressions from Norway and your banter about thrift purchases and more ufos. I love that you are so respectful with each other and so kind. 💕🌞🌼

Queridos! I so enjoyed the ambience of this late evening chat with the water rippling behind. I have that wheel and use it for cutting pasta shapes and cutting homemade ravioli, in addition to forming crusts and cookies. Always amazed and inspired by your productivity. Carry on! Big love from Chicago!

Hi guys, I did see the video about the pompoms. I also thought at first it was a teaser 🤭
Royal Copenhagen is such a beautiful porcelain. I have one figurine of it. Its a cat, bought it in Copenhagen, I think it was in 1990. Still love it.
Have a nice day and see you at Sunday ❤

Picture perfect background for today’s episode! Felt like I was sitting with friends telling me about their week...just the right mood. 💖 Great find at the thrift store 👌! I did look up the island prison....SO different than what’s in the states. Nice to have a low crime population. Also thought Arne’s UFO with the star looked very southwestern...like our Native Americans.

I saw the pompom video. It was lovely. Your backdrop is gorgeous. It must be fantastic to be so close to the water. Xxx

It’s so lovely to see you both outside with the beautiful lake and trees in the background. It always amazes me how it doesn’t get dark there this time of year - I noticed that when I was in Amsterdam years ago - stayed light so long. Thanks guys for another fun and informative video - I enjoy them so much 🥰

I was so busy it took me a while to get to this episode but it was worth the wait.
I have watched the pom-pom episode and it was fantastic.
Also I would call that piece of equipment a pastry crimper and with Jerusalem artichoke I overcook them until they are soft, drain them well and then puree them with a little salt and pepper. That is great with grilled or roast meat.

We are having the same sort of weather in Fairbanks, AK. Last week we had to keep all our plants inside and heat the greenhouses. This week It's nice and warm and we planted our gardens. And we have daylight 24 hours a day! I especially love that part of summer. And finally, I didn't realize there was a shortage of yarn. I guess it's a good thing I have a huge stash and plenty of needles in every size!

Took a quick peek at the Norway Prison System. What a great and successful concept. Humans being healed and treated as humans sounds way more beneficial, helpful and productive than other methods.
