Great! Help! After replacing the fuse block as you show the dash lit up as normal but had a No Start condition because the HV battery cooling fan fuse was blown. Replaced that and the car RUNS! Thank you!
Thanks but can you teach us how test the fusible link on the 2010 toyota prius. My dash comes on but if I push the gas pedal nothing happens and no ready light comes on I need help please
I have a new battery, yet none of the dash lights come on. It doesn't make a sound when I push the break and power button. I checked the fuses under the hood like the video said and they are good.
Mine would not start untill after noon when it got warm like 70 degrees I got a new battery and it still would not start> Then I tried the key fob battery a 1 dollar part and it started.
I’ve got 2011 car 200h Lexus same as Prius different body type… It’s a real bummer bc after I change 12v batteries after week car won’t have the power light greenish says ready after I push the start , cars at authorized dealer ship Lexus over month and they can’t find issue yet check all the I guess fusses wires battery all over and no luck pls help
Sorry for the late response; it might be the actual battery dead or the generator, or something like this i highly recommend take it professional shop to take a look at it
I wonder if disconnecting the 12V battery clears an error code that only registers after the car starts. Can you take it to an Autozone or similar store and ask them to use their OBD reader to see if any error codes exist when the car won’t start?
Hi. My 2007 Prius won't fully start. It turns on, but does not start. When it turns on, only the traction control & abs light is on, but the "ready" indicator is not on. The Energy display on the dash has a red battery logo on top left. We just put in a new 12v battery, but it not help/work. Any idea what may be wrong?
@@Matthewjo22 Thanks, I will speak with my mechanic & let him know these suggestions as well. Thank you once again :) This video of yours was very helpful.
I have a 2005 Prius, there is zero power. no lights come on, the doors wont even lock. The battery has never been replaced. I know we have been lucky!! is it worth checking fuses or anything else or is it most likely a dead battery? Thank you!!
Same thing just happened to me!! Came out to my car and doors wouldn’t unlock. Went back inside switched the fob battery thinking that’s what it was. Still wouldn’t work. Manually got in but the car wouldn’t do anything
